Having read many Gabriel x reader fics, I craved a different story - one with real struggle. Where is the slow, messy process of getting used to each other? The fight with one's own inner demons? I kept my head down, unsure of our precise location. Suddenly, I collided with Mam, who towered above me with her remarkable height. When I gazed up, she scrutinized me with worried eyes. I looked at my Mam, and her expression was etched with concern, her eyebrows furrowed, and her eyes filled with a deep worry. The corridor behind her was a blur, but I could make out the faint sound of footsteps and muffled voices. But then, everything changed. I found myself reclining on a hospital bed, on my right side. My life's most cherished person, my sister, stood beside me alongside my two roommates. My sweet teacher stood in front of me, articulating something I couldn't quite discern. The individuals surrounding me gazed at me as if I were an extraterrestrial, inquiring if I had visited Mars! I had no notion what had occurred. All I recollected was colliding with Mam, and then...this. "So, you awake already, how are you feeling, young lady?" a person inquired. I responded, "Physically fine, just a bit perplexed." Mam asked, "So you don't recall anything after you collided with me?" I shook my head, "No, what transpired? Did I perpetrate something or something occur?" The doctor intervened, "I think you require rest, young lady. We can discuss that later." As I endeavored to sit up, a sharp pain shot through the back of my head, making me wince.
