It had been a month since summer began. My family was off doing their own thing. I was in the empty ballroom, laying in the sun that was coming through the windows. The quidditch world cup was coming up soon, and my family is having a party here at the castle, a day after. I was so exited for the theme this year. A masquerade. And I heard my cousin might be coming. I haven't seen him in about four years.
The light of the sun warmed my skin. Feeling inspirational, I decided to sing a song. I opened my eyes, making sure no one is around before I begin.

I couldn't help but think of draco at this part. Since school has been out, we've been spending much time together. And I can't help but start to really like him.

I screamed at the sudden voice. I sat up, and looked towards the door. Draco was leaning on the door frame, laughing at my reaction.
I placed my hand over my beating heart. "Do you have to keep scaring me while I'm in here, malfoy?"
His shoes echoed off the floor as he started to walk. "I can't help it. Whenever I find you in here, you're too busy to notice me." He walked past me, and sat at the piano. "That was beautiful, by the way. I never heard you sing before."
I got up and joined him on the bench. "Thank you. And you've never heard me sing before, because I rarely sing in front of others."
His fingers started to play beautiful music. "Well, it's beautiful. You should do it more often."
"Not gonna happen." I laughed.
"Would you sing for me while I played for you?"
I bit my lip. "Only this once."
"Excellent."

Antoinette's pov:
I walked with narcissa through the corridors of the castle. We were discussing y/n's and draco's outfit for the upcoming party. I wanted to make sure the two looked amazing with each other.
"Do you hear that?" Narcissa asked me.
I strained my ears to listen. Very softly, a piano was playing. We walked towards the ballroom, and the music got louder as we went.

We stopped just outside the ballroom, and peaked inside. Draco say playing the piano, while y/n sang beside him. A giant smile was plastered on her face. I don't think I've ever seen her this happy before.

"They seem happy with each other." Narcissa commented, making sure to keep her voice low so the two kids wouldn't hear us.
