Today I'm going back to Kegan's pack after a month of being gone.
Feels like a year tho
I walked out the pack house with Victor trailing behind me.
"Any word from the witch"
"We haven't contacted her since"

"MATTY!!"

I mumbled under my breath and turned around.
"Matty"
She ran up and hugged me.
"Since you came back you didn't come to meet me and now you're leaving again"
I could hear the pout in her voice which caused me to sigh.
"Business"
I grabbed her shoulders and separated from her.
"What business. You're just training some stupid weak guys. Can't you just stay with me and then we wait for Romeo to come back?"
"How did you know I was training people"
"I was cleaning your office and I saw the paper"
"Who told you to enter my office"
"Matty don't be mad. I was just cleaning it"
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"Don't go in there again?"
"What? Are you hiding something from me?"
"And what if I am"
"MATTY!! You know I don't like you keeping secrets from me"
"Alpha, it's getting late. If you spend much more time here, it'll get dark"

She scoffed and went back inside which made me sigh and turn around.

Victor said and crossed his arms

"Mmhmm. The whole thing haven't connected yet but I know it's her that came in between our relationship before and for that I'm most definitely not gonna sit still and wait for her to confess"
"So what are you gonna do?"
"Can't tell you"

"Cause it'll take too much time to explain"

I smiled at his annoyed face and shifted.
"I'm off"
I midlinked and he nodded.
I started walking towards the forest before he yelled my name.

I turned around and he yelled more.
"Please don't forget to tell Gab that Sean is a boy not an item. I don't feel reassured with her being with him alone"
I rolled my eyes and nodded.

Romeo's POV

Matteo said through the link and I nodded.
"So now what do you plan to do?"
*I can clearly sense her presence which means she following me. I'll be on the run for 5 hours which means you should be expecting us*

There was a knock on my door and I frowned.
"Who is it?"

I heard Lilian's voice and I sighed.

The door opened and she walked in with a smile.
"You know you don't have to knock right?"

sat up and she came and straddled me then snuggled into my arms.
"What's wrong?"
"How do you know somethings wrong?"
She shrugged and looked at me.
"I just know cause you wouldn't be sitting here if you had other things to do"
"Right."
"So what's wrong"
"Matteo's coming back today"
She sat up and looked at me.
"Really?"
"Mmhmm"
"So what's wrong about that?"
"Then I won't have you all to myself"
I sighed which caused her to giggle.
"You're often jealous these days"

"Do you feel threatened by Matteo"
My smile faltered and hers grew even more.

I remembered that we're still in a mind link so I blocked him out and scoffed.
"Threatened of what? I'm not threatened of anything"
"Whatever you say"
she said in a non-believing tone.
Lilian's POV
After I said that he flicked my forehead and then he suddenly turned serious.
"I found a nice house in the mountains. It's 30 minutes away from here. I want Hazel and Cora to stay there and train with Dan and some of my men"
"Why's that all of a sudden?"
"Because once we get back to our pack, a lot of people are gonna find out about them which can result in people trying to kidnap them and stuff so I want them to start early"
"What if something bad happens over there while we're here"
"Don't worry. I'm going to put the same thing that I put on their forehead when we went to the magical beasts forest. If there's any threat at all, they'll be protected"
"How long is the training"
"Till we leave this place"

There was a knock on the door and I was about to get off him when he put his arms around my waist and held me back.
"Who is it?"
"What are you doing"
I glared at him.
"What if it's the girls"
"If it was them then they won't even knock"
"Umm Alpha Romeo, Alpha Kegan has called for you. He would like to discuss the progress of the pack members"
I heard Brandon's voice from the other side.
"Okay, I'm coming"
"Oh and um have you seen Miss Lilian"
"What do you need her for?"
"Well Miss Lilian agreed to help out the pack doctor cause she was short on staff"
I made an "oh" face as I remembered that I promised to help out.
Romeo looked at me and I smiled.
"I did promise tho"
"Don't you want to see the girls off"
"I trust you. As long as I know that they're fine, I won't bother. I need a break from them anyways"
He smiled and nodded.
"Fine"
I stood up and he followed after me.
We both walked out and Brandon awkwardly looked away.
"Umm I'll be in Alpha's office. Excuse me"
He walked off and I sighed.
"Keep them safe"
"I will"
He kissed my forehead and walked away.
