I wake up in my bed with Embers arms and legs wrapped around me but i managed to get free without waking her.
I See Flowing Stream sitting at the table doing something.
Y/n: Hey Flow, what're you doin?
Flowing Stream: Just scrapbooking.
Y/n: What're you scrapbooking.
Flowing Stream: You.
Y/n: Can i see?
It was pages of photos of me sleeping and my hair strands separated from longest to shortest.
Y/n: You're definitely hardworking.
Flowing Stream: Thanks.
Cherry opens the door.
Cherry Storm: Y/n...what's "she" doing here?
Y/n: She's my new roommate.
Cherry Storm: Ofcourse you did. I'm sorry Flowing Stream for not really caring about you.
Flowing Stream: It's okay and i was hurt but doesn't matter anymore because i now have someone who does.
Cherry Storm: Well she's your problem now.
Y/n: I don't think she's a problem, oh and i was told you hurt people.

Flowing Stream: Okay i won't, oh and i have your blood aswell.

She walks out completely naked.
And makes herself some coffee.
I then get a text from Rainbow Dash to meet her at the mailbox.
Y/n: Well let's go.

Cherry Storm: No thank you i've got work to do.
Y/n: What about you Em?
Ember: Nah i think i'll stay here awhile, i'll cash in the favor later.

We make it to the mailbox.

Girlfriends: Hi Y/n.
Y/n: Sparks are you okay now.
Twilight Sparkle: Thank you, i'm completely fine.
Pinkie Pie: Ooooh, I wish the mail person would just come already! I can't wait another minute to find out if Rainbow Dash got in or not!

Her shouting through the megaphone made the mountains look like grass blowing in the wind.
Y/n:*smile*Classic Pinkie and i'm pretty sure all of Equestria heard her.
We finally make it to the training grounds.
Y/n: You go ahead Rainbow Dash i'll be right behind you.
Rainbow Dash: Sure thing.
Rainbow Dash left and then Spitfire approached me.
Spitfire: Hey prince Y/n.
Y/n: Hi Spitfire.
Spitfire: I don't mean to be rude but why are you here.
Y/n: My Girlfriend Rainbow Dash is trying out for the Wonderbolts and she invited me to watch her.

Y/n: Honestly i have no idea, one day i just found out.

Spitfire: Do you think you could stay and talk to the newbies and stay and watch.
Y/n: I think i get it, this'll be a good test because the Wonderbolts perform in front of crowds and royalty all the time.

We are now at the training grounds and the possible recruits a lineup.

Spitfire: Well then. Let me be the first to tell you... You don't! If you had what it took to be an elite flyer, you'd already be a Wonderbolt! Still think you're something special?

Spitfire: Alright we have a very special guest here to watch you all fly which will give you sence of what it's like to perform in front of royalty and i expect you all to do your best!

Y/n: Ofcourse.*smile*Everyone i truly hope that you all give it your best and reach your goal of becoming a truly splendid Wonderbolt and i can not wait to see you all flying and performing in the skies.
Everyone looked very motivated and the girls in the lineup where blushing.

Y/n: No problem.
Spitfire: You look like you're the worst flyer in the whole academy! You'll probably quit after the first day!
Rainbow Dash: No, ma'am! I'd never quit, ma'am!

They began their laps.

Spitfire: Well i have experience, and that was a pretty good speech.

Some time passed and Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust had just finished.
Spitfire: Not bad... for a couple of newbies.
Lightning Dust: Name's Lightning Dust.
Rainbow Dash: Rainbow Dash!
Lightning Dust: Wanna grab some grub in the mess hall?

I am now opening and closing the mailbox to see if a letter from Rainbow Dash has arrived.
Applejack: Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash hasn't even been gone twenty-four hours yet. Give her a chance to settle in first. Why don't we just go see what Twilight's up to? I hear Queen Celestia's got her workin' on some new spells!
Pinkie Pie: New spells, huh? Okay. Wait! If I'm not here when Rainbow Dash's letter arrives, I won't be able to read it right away. And if I don't read it right away, I won't be able to write her back right away. And if I don't write her back right away, she might think I didn't get her letter, and then she might worry it got lost. And if she's worrying about her letter, she'll be distracted. And if she's distracted, then she won't do well at the academy! And if she doesn't do well at the academy, then she'll get kicked out! And if she gets kicked out, they'll never let her be a Wonderbolt! And if she doesn't get to be a Wonderbolt, all her dreams will be crushed! And it will be all... my... fault!
I bang my head on the mailbox.
Applejack: So in other words, you're stickin' by the mailbox.
Pinkie Pie: Yep!
Applejack: Suit yourself.
I start opening and closing the mailbox again.
Y/n POV
We are now standing infront of the a machine called the dizzitron.
Spitfire: The Wonderbolts are the fastest, best precision flyers in the world. But spin-outs can still happen. And when they do, a Wonderbolt must be able to recover quickly. This... is the Dizzitron. It's gonna make you very - I repeat - very dizzy. Your task is to try and recover and fly straight again, as soon as possible. Once you have recovered you must come in for a smooth landing. Now, who's first?...You. You're up.
Meadow Flower: Me?*gulps*
Spitfire: Now!
Meadow Flower gets into the dizzitron.
Spitfire: Ready?
Meadow Flower: Yes, ma'am!
Spitfire: Go!
The dizzitron starts spinning her.
Spitfire: Release!
It flings her into the sky and she did an okay landing.
Spitfire: Huh. Fifteen seconds. Decent, but I wouldn't go writin' home about it! Who's next? Alright, Rainbow Dash. Let's see what you got.
Rainbow Dash: Yes, ma'am!
Rainbow Dash gets into the dizzitron.
Spitfire: Okay, go!
The dizzitron starts spinning her then it flings her into the sky and she did an excellent landing.
Spitfire: Release! Six seconds? That's an academy record.
Meadow Flower: You made it look so easy.
Rainbow Dash: I make everything look easy.
Spitfire: Okay, Lightning Dust. You're up.
Lightning Dust: Ma'am, can you put the Dizzitron at maximum speed? I wanna push my limits.
Spitfire: You sure about that?
Lightning Dust: Yes ma'am.
Spitfire: Okay. You asked for it.
The dizzitron starts spinning faster and more rapidly than before and then it flung her into the sky and like Rainbow Dash her landing was excellent.
Spitfire: Release! Six point five seconds. Not bad.
Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust: Heh!/Oh yeah!
Spitfire: Next!
Rainbow Dash: Hey Y/n i was totally awesome right!?
Y/n: Oh yeah so awesome.
Spitfire: If you wanna stay the night i can prepare a room for you.
Y/n: Thank you, i think i might take you up on that offer.
She shows me to a private room.
Spitfire: Sorry if it's not what your use to.

I'm walking through the cafeteria to find out whose my wingman or wingwoman.
Rainbow Dash: So, which one of you lucky guys gets to be my wingperson? What?

I check the wall and i couldn't believe what i saw.
Rainbow Dash: A wingwoman?
Lightning Dust: They made us a team! Isn't that awesome?
I make my way to Spitfires office.
Rainbow Dash: Permission to enter, ma'am.
Spitfire: What is it, Rainbow Dash?
Rainbow Dash: I had the best time on the Dizzitron! Only six seconds!
Spitfire: And?
Rainbow Dash: And you made me a wingwoman!
Spitfire: Because I believe you and Lightning Dust will be an unstoppable team. Do you not think you'll be an unstoppable team?
Rainbow Dash: Yes, ma'am! I mean no, ma'am! I mean... We'll be an unstoppable team, ma'am.
Spitfire: Then what's the problem?
Rainbow Dash: I think I should be lead flyer, ma'am.
Spitfire: And I think Lightning Dust likes to push herself a little harder than you do. That's why I made her lead flyer. Got it?

I am now standing outside with Spitfire near a training course in the sky.
Spitfire: Today you will all be participating in a flag hunt. We'll divide you into two teams, red... and blue. Whoever finds the most flags of the opposing team's color wins.
Meadow Flower: Oh, this is gonna be so much fun!Spitfire: If you think this is gonna to be fun, you are sadly mistaken. This is for training purposes. This is not recess. Lead flyers, wingmen and women must fly together. If any pair splits apart, they will be immediately disqualified. Do you understand?
All Aerials: Yes, ma'am!
Spitfire: Then let's go!
She blows her whistle.
Spitfire: So what do you think of the new recruits?
Y/n: They have the potential to be great flyers and Wonderbolts and i believe that they teach you a thing or two.
Spitfire: You think so?
Y/n: Yeah, just when you think you know something someone will come along and teach you more.
Spitfire: Okay, wiseguy, oh sorry prince.
Y/n: Nah i don't mind, you know we've known each other for awhile but i don't know much about you.
Spitfire: Yeah. What do you wanna know?
Y/n: Have you always wanted to be a Wonderbolt?
Spitfire: Yeah ever since i was just a little girl.

I show her my eye under my eyepatch.
Spitfire: Woah i always thought that was an injury or something, actually i think that's what a lot of people think.
Y/n: And i have thirteen girlfriends.

I'm sleeping and leaning on the mailbox.
Pinkie Pie: ZZzzzzZzzZzZZZz*gasp*
Rarity: She's still at it.
Derpy: She can't stay there forever.

Pinkie Pie: Help me? The only thing that could possibly help me right now is a letter from Rainbow Dash! It's been three days already. By now, she probably doesn't even know our names anymore! She probably can't remember our faces! "Pinkie Pie? I never heard of a Pinkie Pie! Who is Pinkie Pie?"
Twilight Sparkle: Well, if you're so worried, then why don't you send her a letter first?
Pinkie Pie: Of course! That's a great idea!
Ember: Finally.
Pinkie Pie: Oh wait! I got an even better idea! How about we send Rainbow Dash a care package? You know, before she forgets all about us? Although, come on, let's face it. It's probably too late for that. But, uh, maybe it'll jog her memory somehow.
Twilight Sparkle: Pinkie Pie, I'm sure Rainbow Dash still remembers our faces and who we are. But I think sending her a care package is a great idea.
Pinkie Pie: A care package it is! We'll send it through the mail! WAIT! Ah! That won't work at all!
Ember: Ugh.
Applejack: Why not?
Pinkie Pie: Because what if the package gets lost in the mail? What if someone else gets the package by accident and then she remembers us instead of Rainbow Dash and then she becomes our new friend? And then the real Rainbow Dash won't ever know that she used to have friends and she forgot them!

Pinkie Pie: I've got it! We'll deliver the care package to Rainbow Dash in person!
Rarity: I wouldn't mind a little trip.

We are now infront of an obstacle in the sky obviously.
Spitfire: Today we'll be doing our famous air obstacle course. The object of this exercise is to work on your precision flying under extreme circumstances. And don't worry about winning. It's not a race. Now everyone, get on your marks!
We're all flying and some people are taking their time flying infront of us.
Lightning Dust: Ugh! Can't they go any faster? It's no good, I can't get around them!
Rainbow Dash: Doesn't matter! We can still fly completely in sync and blow Spitfire's mind with our moves!
Lightning Dust: I guess...ugh What are they, a couple of snails? It's just a little weather. Alright now's our chance to pass these slowpokes!
Lightning Dust and i finish and land.
Spitfire: Not bad! And in record time, too! Definitely made the right decision making you two a team. The others seem to have had a little trouble with the precision part of the exercise. I'd better go help sort them out. Why don't you two go hit the mess hall early?
Lightning Dust: Yes, ma'am!
Rainbow Dash: Thank you, ma'am. Um, Lightning Dust? Next time, maybe we don't cut the other teams off like that.
Lightning Dust: Hey, you snooze, you lose! Besides, Wonderbolts are supposed to be able to recover from a spin-out. You saw them on the Dizzitron! They could use the practice. I mean, it's not our fault we're so much better than those other guys! Not everyone is destined to become a Wonderbolt. Only the best of the best, right?
Rainbow Dash: Well...
Lightning Dust: Look I'm right! Now let's go fuel up! Kicking all that tail has made me hungry.
Y/n: Hi Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash: Oh hey Y/n.
Y/n: Your not lookin so good.
Rainbow Dash: Yeah...
Y/n: Here's a question, can you really call something a win if you use others as stepping stones?
Rainbow Dash: I all ready knew this but your very smart.
Y/n: I've met a lot of people and seen many places.

Some hours later we were given the objective of destroying a certain amount of clouds.
Lightning Dust: I have an idea about how we can literally blow away our competition.
Rainbow Dash: But we're already way ahead.
Lightning Dust: Are you in or not?
I hear Spitfires voice in my head.

Rainbow Dash: I'm in!
Lightning Dust: Then follow my lead!
Y/n POV
Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust begin making a tornado and then i see a hot air balloon with my six of my girlfriends riding it.
The balloon gets caught up with the tornado.
Girlfriends: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
Y/n: NO!!!
I summon my sword.
And from where i was standing i cut the tornado in half making it disappear.
Then Rainbow Dash and other flyers save them.
I go to them.
Rainbow Dash: Are you guys okay?
Rarity, Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy: Uh-huh.
Rainbow Dash: Pinkie Pie!
Pinkie Pie: You... remember me!
Rainbow Dash: Well... yeah, of course I remember you. But... what are you all doing here?
Y/n: I'm so glad your all okay.
Trixie Lulamoon: That was amazing Y/n!
Twilight Sparkle: Yeah.
Applejack: We wanted to bring you a care package. Didn't realize you'd be in the middle of some crazy tornado drill.
Lightning Dust: That... was... awesome!
Rainbow Dash: Awesome? My friends could have been smashed to pieces!
Lightning Dust: Yeah, but they weren't, right? Can't say the same for the clouds. We totally wiped them out with that tornado. The other cadets will have to be up there for days to bust as many as we did.
Rainbow Dash: A fist bump? Seriously? You made me clip my wing. You sent half of our class into serious tailspins on the obstacle course. You unleashed a tornado that nearly demolished my friends!
Lightning Dust: Yeah, and?
Rainbow Dash: And I get that you want to be the best. So do I! But you're going about it in the wrong way.
Lightning Dust: The Wonderbolts don't seem to think so. After all, Spitfire did make me the leader and you the wingwoman.
Rainbow Dash:*sigh*You're right. She did.
Trixie Lulamoon: Woah Y/n calm down!
Y/n: Huh what?
Trixie Lulamoon:Trixie Doesn't blame you but your angryness is destroying the ground beneath us.
Y/n: Oh uh sorry.
Rainbow Dash POV
I enter Spitfires office.
Spitfire: This better be important. You're supposed to be up there busting clouds with your partner.
Rainbow Dash: We're done with that, ma'am.
Spitfire: Already? That's an academy record! Explain your methods.
Rainbow Dash: That's why I'm here, ma'am. Lightning Dust decided to use a tornado.
Spitfire: A bit excessive for cloud-busting. But judging from your time, it was obviously an effective tactic.
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, well that "effective tactic" nearly took out my friends! No disrespect, ma'am, but there's a big difference between pushing yourself as hard as you can and just being reckless. And if being reckless is what gets rewarded around here, if that's what it means to be a Wonderbolt, then I don't want any part of it.
Spitfire: What are you saying, newbie?
Rainbow Dash: I quit.
I slam the door behind me.
Y/n POV
Rainbow Dash just said to us that she's quitting her dream of becoming a Wonderbolt.
Applejack: You did what?!
Rarity: Being a Wonderbolt was your dream!
Rainbow Dash: Not anymore.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash. I know how much this meant to you.
Spitfire: Rainbow Dash! How dare you storm out of my office without giving me a chance to respond! The Wonderbolts are looking for the best flyers in Equestria, but you were right. Being the best should never come at the expense of our fellow people. It's not just about pushing ourselves. It's about pushing ourselves in the right direction. You've shown that you're capable of doing just that.
She takes the lead flyer badge off of Lightning Dust and gives it to Rainbow Dash.
Spitfire: You're no wingwoman, Rainbow Dash. You're a leader.
Rainbow Dash: Ohmygosh Ohmygosh Ohmygosh OhmygoshOhmygosh!
Y/n: Congrats.
Spitfire: Now get out there and give me twenty!
Rainbow Dash: Yes, ma'am!
Pinkie Pie: Wait! You didn't even get to open your care package!
Spitfire: Hey Wiseguy we should get some drinks later on.
Y/n: Sure thing.
Applejack: What was that about?
Y/n: I made a new friend and drinking buddy probably.
Fluttershy: What's a drinking buddy?
Y/n: Someone you drink alcohol with and talk to, although she'll be the only one getting drunk.

Y/n: My power prevents me from getting drunk.

Y/n: Well let's get goin back home.
