Carefully closing the door, she make sure to be quiet as she enters the house. Rockruff followed behind her while Pikachu is still inside her bag, trying not to make a big move.
They were about to go her room until Kioko called behind her.
"Hey (y/n) have you seen Rockruff oh-" she stops when she sees Rockruff besides (y/n). "He was with you the whole time?"
"Ah yes we took a walk in the park, sorry, I should have text you earlier" Rockruff when to greet Kioko and circled in her legs. The older female gave a soft smile and pat his head, "It's okay, its good to see his safe" she then turn her direction back to (y/n)
"Hey could you umm- check how Kirishima's doing...he seems down today." Her face turned into a frown.
"Feeling down? What do you mean Kioko-san?" (Y/n) raise her brow.
"He's aura felt gloomy ever since he came home, I tried to ask him whats wrong but he didn't want to open up" Kioko look down "I'm worried about him"
(Y/n) tug on her bag tightly, she remembered how she left him earlier without a word, something must have happen to him when she's gone. She couldn't help but feel guilty for not being there for her friend. "I'll go check on him"
Remembering Pikachu in her bag, she quickly ran to her room and put the bag down, releasing her friend and remind him to be quiet. Without wasting any time she ran upstair and head to the direction where Kirishima's room is and when she's in front of it she heard a loud thud coming from inside.
Her heart beats in panic and immediately opens the door without asking.
"Kirishima are you okay?!" She said a loud making the male jump from his seat, surprise to see (y/n) at the door.
"(Y/n) what are you doing here?" He asked. She was about to answer but stop when her gaze fell at the familiar box scattered along with the books.
Kirishima's gaze followed her movement as she pick up the supplement of great heroes. "You have this as well..." He heard her.
"Yeah.."he mumbled "I asked it for my birthday a long time ago..."
(Y/n) then pick up a circled object in the floor. "This also came along with a hologram of crimson riot, didn't you know?"
"No.." He whispered and look down on his feet
"Tell me whats wrong Kirishima, did something happen? You can tell me." (Y/n)'s tone became cold and serious but at the same time it sounded comforting as if telling 'Don't worry I'm here, I'll listen to you '
"Your friends" It took him a while to continue "was cornered by a giant villain...and their expressions..they we're scared...so scared that they clutch to each other and trembling with fear. They were in trouble and I" he stammered, tugging his slacks..his red eyes were covered with hair " I didn't do anything!" He said a loud, shutting his eyes close in guilt and frustration.
"I keep telling my self to go...go move my legs and save them, but I didn't, I was frozen and yet I'm not the one facing the villain" (Y/n) notice his hands trembling, his voice weaken as he spoke.
"I didn't do anything to help them...I just watch as Ashido ran in front of it and lied to him despite being frighten..." He remembered what happened in the spring, a middle schooler the same age as him became famous for resisting a powerful villain, that was the part everyone talked about, hut according to the witnesses, right before all might appeared. A middle schooler who looked like his friend rushed out.
A quirkless did that...and yet a man with a quirk like him didn't rush when the situation is in front of him, he let his fear get ahead of him.
He gently place his finger on his small scar above his eyes. "I haven't tell you this but, according to my mom, the first time I've gotten my quirk I accidentally cut my eye. Apparently, for a while after that, I sobbed that I hated my quirk"
It's not that big of a deal for him, but thinking about it now, he probably admired Crimson Riot because he hated his own quirk. He had a similar quirk and proudly risked his life as a hero.
Something he believe he can't do.
"I'm not a man, let alone a hero..." He barely whispered.
"That's not it, is it?" The voice of Crimson Riot cause him to flinch, he look up to see (y/n) pressing the button on the hologram, letting it speak for her.
"Well then, let's start the questions"
"Right, hit me"
Both of them watch Crimson Riot sitting proud and mighty while being interviewed.
"Even compared to other heroes, you give the impression of rushing headlong into things. Do you ever feel fear about throwing yourself into danger?"
"Who do you think I am?! I course I do!"
She glance at her friend, who's eyes widen at the hero's answer.
"Anyone who isn't afraid of almost certain death is just a huge idiot!"
Kirishima didn't really get it when he was in elementary school, and his words didn't sink in. He thought he was cool for charging full force into everything.
He clench his fist
"When I was a sidekick, there was a time I didn't save someone I could've."
" I know. it can't be helped. The current rate of crime is also--" the interviewer was cut off by the hero.
"That's not what I'm talking about! I hesitated for a second because my spirit was weak, I couldn't save someone. I'm scared of villains and of dying! But I know something even scarier. The last expression of someone dying and the pain of being unable to save them. " The hero tilt his head up "I know of those things, so that's why I can jump in"
(Y/n) simply smiled at his friend, the hero's word was starting to reflect on him.
"What does chivalry mean to you?"
"It's the state of my heart!" Crimson Riot answered proudly "it's not about having confidence or now knowing fear"
Kirishima started to sob in his spot, clenching his fist tightly as he listens to every word "I'm a hero, thats why I protect people! Once I've decided that in my heart, then its something I'd die for."
Tears began dropping on his hands, he let them ran down his cheeks and his lips couldn't help but tremble, his idol's word was shot to his heart and every word meant deeply for him.
"Just living a life with no regrets, that's what chivalry means to me!"
Just then, the hologram turned off. The room became dark again, the only source of light came from his desk lamp.
"I receive this on my birthday as well, I knew this will help you realise what it meant to be a hero so I let it speak for me" She simply smiled, listening to his friend's sob. She gently place the hologram on the ground, rising up to move closer to him,
She crouch down and glance up to him, her (e/c) orbs meet eyes filled with tears. "Go on cry, let his word sink in"
His closed fist loosen when he felt her hands on top of it. "Tell me, what do you want to be?" Her tone were soft, comforting.
"Hero...I want to be a hero" he said,
"And whats stopping you?" She waited for his answer, but no words came out of his mouth. She smiled and stood up, grabbing an eraser and erase the scribble in his paper.
"Next time you're feeling down dont keep it to yourself, your mother was worried about you. Always remember that you have her and me to listen to every word you say"
Kirishima watch her as she did so, "It's ok to have fear. It's not ok to let that fear stop you from achieving your goals" She said, handing both the paper and pencil to her friend.
"Go for it"

"Ei, are you serious?" Asked Taro, as he look at Kirishima's future course survey form. Both of his friends look at his first choice.
'1st Choice: U.A. High School'
Shiro pointed at the paper in disbelief, waiting for Kirishima to speak.
"Yes, I'm serious" he answered and glance up to the ceiling. ' I won't let the same thing happen again. I...'
After school, he ran to find (y/n)'s friend to ask forgiveness. He said that it will make him feel better, to release the guilt his feeling for not rushing to save them.
"Sorry!" He bowed deeply in front of Yua and Himari, most of the student who's currently in the locker area look at him weirdly. The two girls could only stare in confusion as he spoke.
"Back then, even though I saw you two, I was too scared to move!" He continued.
Himari leans to her friend and whisper something "Who is he again?"
"I think he's from Class 1...Oh!, I think he's (y/n)'s boyfriend" Yua whispered back.
"Don't worry about it. Anyone would be scared, Mina was just amazing" Said Himari, while Mina look at Kirishima with furrowed brow.
"Still!, I should have step right away, what I did wasn't manly please forgive me"
This made Himari wave her hands in the air, not sure what to say.
"Ano...Its okay, it already happen and we forgive you already" she said a loud.
"Thank you!" He shouted and ran to another direction, feeling his mood slightly better who went to find his other friend.
"(Y/n)!" He called seeing (y/n) walking besides Aki about to leave the school premises.
Both of them look behind to see a Kirishima running towards them.
"Kirishima what is it-?" She blink and flinch when she felt her forearm being grab.
A wide smile appears on his face,
"You said you'll help me train right?! What are you waiting for lets go" He then ran towards the school's while holding the girl's arm, who's having trouble keeping up with his speed.
"H-hey!" (Y/n) turned to Aki and gave her a silent sorry, waving her hands goodbye then turn back to the male. "You don't have to pull me Kirishima-"
"Eijiro"
"Huh?" She blink, Kirishima then looks at her and flash a wide smile, exposing his unique shark teeth.
"You never call me by my first name but I call you with yours, its not fair. Starting today call me Eijiro, we're friends right?!"
Her eyes went wide for a second but simply smiled and let her self get pulled by the black haired male.
"Okay then, Eijiro....."
Starting that day, Kirishima had been working hard non-stop with the help of (y/n). Doing work outs, starting eating healthy and began studying hard, in the past few months he became confident, always looking at the mirror to see improvements.
His quirk had gotten stronger as well, now he can make his whole arm sharp and hard not like before where it was only little. His grades also went up as he continued studying hard that his teacher and classmate became impressed.
He did all of this with the help of his friend.
"Focus on your quirk Eijiro, make sure that your hand is in line with the bricks" said (Y/n), as she stared at the tense male, who's having trouble breaking the bricks in the center with his hardened hand.
"Ack, I can't do it (y/n) the brick is too hard. Can't we use normal woods and iron?" He whines while rubbing his arms in pain.
"We already use that last weeks" she snap her fingers "You're quirk is more harder than the brick if you concentrate, now harden your arm more"
"But I'm at my limit, I'll break my arms (y/n)" She shook her head at his complain. "The only limit I see here is you, you're hesitating."
"From what I see thats not how far your quirk can do, never stop breaking those limits to see your true strength" She continued
Kirishima only stood there, too stunned by her words. "Well?" She raised a brow, "Are you just going to stand there?"
"Woah" He unconsciously let out "your words"
"What about it?" she tilt her head in confuse.
"Your words made you sound like an actual trainer! So manly! Its like you have been training someone other than me" he exclaimed loudly making her choke on her saliva.
"I don't train anyone" she look away "I just watch too much karate kids and Kung fu panda"
She glance back to see Kirishima still staring at her with glittering orbs "Why are you still staring?! Go do it already" she scolded.
The male confidently turned back to the bricks, letting (y/n)'s word sink in as he harden his quirk even more. He raise his arms higher and hit the bricks with full force, breaking it in half. "Haaa!"
It took him a couple of seconds to realize that he broke the bricks. "All right you did it! Good job Eijiro!" (Y/n) bounce up and gave him a thumbs up. Her voice broke him out of trance, looking at the broken pieces, he place both of his arms in the hips and stand proudly "I did it!"
"I knew you can do it" she smiled

The two of them stared in wonder at the sight of the school entrance. Looking up at the large H shape building, they couldn't help but hang their mouths open at the sight.
"So this is UA" She whispered in awe.
"I wonder what the insides looks like" Kirishima said besides her.
She notice a lot of students entering the school's premises already, she couldn't believe the number of students who are going to take the entrance exam. A lot of them look confident and ready,
Kirishima however, have mix feelings. He was nervous and excited at the same time, he couldn't help but slightly shake in the spot. (Y/n) notice this so she slap a hand on his back gently, waking him up from his thoughts.
"You'll do your best, I have faith in you" she smiled.
"Thanks (y/n), really...thank you for everything. You help me a lot and now I'm here, standing in front of my future school...that is, if I got in"
"Here you are again, doubting yourself. Like I said, you can do it just believe in yourself. Also I have something for you" she said.
"What is it?" Before she could answer, her phone ring in her pocket. Opening it, she look to see a photo that her friend Mina sent her.
In the photo, she's walking on her way to UA, raising a peace sign and smiling widely.
In the text it said 'On my way to the entrance exam, wish me luck <3'
A smile appeared on her lips after reading it, "who is it?" Kirishima leaned to take a peak on her phone, but before he could see something. (Y/n) already puts her phone back.
"Its Mina, she's on her way here. If you see her, tell her I said good luck" she pat her said and started walking away.
"Wait!" She stop and turns back to him "Didn't you say you have something for me?" He asked.
"Oh right" she thought out loud, pressing her fingers on her chin.
Before he could say anything, (Y/n) walk closer to him, tiptoeing to his height level and gave a quirk peck on the cheek. "A good luck kiss" she whispered and head out leaving the male completely stunned.
He raise his hand, placing his palm on his cheeks her kiss still lingers. He smiled softly as he stared at the girl before entering the school.
Meanwhile, (y/n) is mentally panicking and cursing herself. It was suppose to be a good luck hug not a good luck kiss. She felt embarrass at what she had done, its her first time giving a kiss to someone who is not a member of a family.
She let out a big sigh to relax herself, glancing back at the building that is getting smaller as she walk away.
"I wonder if the next number 1 hero will be attending here this year" she thought to her self
"Ah!" Suddenly she felt someone bump her shoulder.
"I-i-i-i I'm s-so-sorry, I didn't m-mean to b-b-bump into you! I- should have l-look w-where I'm g-going!"
Looking down she saw a male with green hair bowing at her. She couldn't see what he looks like but notice his all black uniform assuming his part of the examinees.
"Its okay, I understand why you're in a hurry"
"S-still, s-s-orry for bumping into y-you!" With a blink of an eye, the male wasn't in front of her anymore instead he was already walking away heading to UA. Walking rather weirdly and muttering words too fast.
"I bump into a girl"
