Genetic mutations were something the world hadn't seen yet, they were talked about but never seen. Except, they were definitely around. For years, mutants had been hiding themselves in the shadows, suppressing the part of themselves that made them special. That was until Sebastian Shaw decided he wanted to start world war three. Suddenly, mutants were thrust out into the open, people finding out about these enhanced individuals and fearing them. Because what they couldn't understand, they seeked to destroy.
Evie Dalton was one of these mutants. With an explosive personality and a gun to match, Evie was one of the best agents the CIA had seen in years. She worked hard and was always on call.

Evie never imagined exposing herself as a mutant until one unfortunate evening, her partner discovered these genetically modified beings. This sent her on a spiral of an adventure, meeting a few new friends and some common enemies. But she never imagined meeting Charles Xavier.
Charles was fresh out of university, a newly proclaimed professor and a lover of women. He didn't know what to think of Evie when he met her but he quickly became more and more curious when she refused to give him information about herself. A game that lead them right into each other's arms. But how were they to know it was a danger to them both.
