(My Part)
Life keeps changing like the seasons.
Sometimes i question it.
Not understanding the reasons.
Problems arise leaving sleepless nights.
Silent cries that I muffle and hide.
Tragedy is nothing new to me.
Taught me I had to fight to survive.
Sometimes feeling like im going through the motions but not alive.
At times falling down that dark hole of despair.
But loved ones are there to catch me.
Trying to see things in a new light.
The struggles and fights are there everyday.
But I stay toiling away.
A new day will dawn
I keep moving on.
Can't stay locked in the past.
My life has some new things in it that i'm going to make last.
People cast judgment on choices I make.
For the sake of my sanity I'll never change what makes me.
People that know me except what they get is what they see.
At the end of the day I can say that i'm strong.
And I'll keep surviving, fighting, to live my life the best I can.
Life keeps changing like the seasons.
Sometimes I question it.
Not understanding The reasons.
This time I'm going to embrace everything that's coming my way.
And live each day one at a time.
Only I hold the key to the happiness I call mine.

My heart keeps bleeding in this battle
Ripped apart from all the woe
Hands jaded, skirmishing through the shackles
Perfidy I confront never assents to go
As the fear bore within me ravels
I realize I am my only for
In the war with myself, I hassle
I am running from my own shadow.
But I remind myself what good is it to run
'Cause warriors are only made to fight
For how long I gonna shun
'Cause in the end I don't want to be contrite
If the end has to come
I'll rather die as a knight
So I pick my weapon
To clash against my plight.
'For some, life is but an empty dream
But mine utterly fills this Ream
I fathom, life can as well gleam
It just hinges on what we deem.'
