Lillian sat beside her former mentor, trying to crack open a dragon egg.
''Well, that smells disgusting.'' Emma commented. Te only ones who could stand the smell were Rumple, Lily and Peter. While the others such as Snow and the twins were holding their hands in front of their noses. ''What is that?''
''A dragon egg that never hatched.'' Lillian explained, her head turning to the family members. ''And the dragon breath trapped inside is potent medicine indeed.''
''And that's how you wake up Blue? With a dead baby dragon?'' Lillian nodded as her mentor continued his work on the egg.
''That's dark even for the Dark One.''
''Do you have a better idea, Miss Swan?'' He snapped back at her, Lillian taking the small scalpel from his hand as she continued his work. Peeling off another one of the scalps on it. ''That's the problem with Saviors, isn't it?'' Rumple asked as Lillian opened the head of the egg, allowing the green breath to enter the room. ''Never quite as helpful as advertised.'' When blue inhaled the smell, Lillian stood up, watching the fairy.
''Well, I guess neither are you.'' Emma commented after Blue didn't wake up. Lillian shot her a glare as Rumple got up with help from Lillian and Baelfire, walking outside while Lily sneered at Emma.
''Like that is going to help.'' Emma shot her a peculiar look before Lily exhaled loudly. ''Rumple is our best shot, you shouldn't --'' She cut herself of, her head snapping towards blue, hearing another faint breath. ''And as always ...'' She smirked as Emma let her head down, walking towards the door of the shop to get Belle and Rumple.
''Blue? It's Snow. Blue?'' Snow questioned her, Blue looked up, a small smile tugging onto her lips.
''Snow.''
''Hey. Tiger Lily gave me half this wand. We need the other half. Have you seen it? -- Where is it?'' Killian spoke within a second, Lillian softly pulling him back.
''Hook. Give her a minute.'' Snow told him, her head turning back to Blue when she spoke up.
''The wand is... it's at the center of Storybrooke.'' Blue spoke weakly. Lillian frowned when Snow moved her hands towards Blue's neck, a weird sensation filling Lillian's stomach. Peter, sensing it as well, pulled the twins closer to himself.
''That's enough of that. We don't need you sharing all your secrets.''
''Mom? What are you doing?''
''Oh, I'm not your mother, Emma.'' The voice of the Black Fairy filled the room, Peter and Lillian quickly stepping next to each other, each of them protecting one of the twins while Baelfire grabbed his sword. ''I'm his.'' She added while nodding to Rumple before transforming back into herself. ''Now back away, all of you. Fairies have such delicate necks.''
''You should listen to her,'' Lily's head turned to David, who now held the voice of Gideon. ''Father.'' He than turned back to himself, Killian also grabbing his sword. ''She always makes good on her promises.''
''And what about the promise of a mother to a son?''
''Careful of your emotions, Rumple. They run strongly in our family'' Her head turned to Peter, who looked at the Black Fairy with hatred in his eyes. ''Just ask your father.'' Lillian took a step forward, glaring at the fairy.
''Peter isn't his father.'' Peter pulled her back, Liam softly taking his mother's hand in frighten. The Black Fairy shook her head at the teenager before turning to Blue again.
''As Blue is about to find out.'' She waved her hand around herself and Blue, disappearing into a cloud.
''I'm sorry I had to do this, Father. Goodbye.'' as Gideon went to wave over himself as well, Rumple pushed the non-magic cuff onto his hand, shaking his head at this second son.
''I'm afraid your magic is no longer any use to you. -- It's time to get your heart back.''
While Lillian, Baelfire, Rumple and Belle stayed with Gideon, Peter had decided that he was going to take the twins away to practice their magic. He didn't want them anywhere near the Black Fairy. Lillian gave him a kiss on the lips before he and the twins walked out of the shop, leaving the family in the shop.
''Gideon, please. Tell me where the Black Fairy is keeping your heart. -- You've resisted her before.''
''And she punished me for it. She ordered me to feel this ...'' He groaned in pain as his eyes met those of Lillian's, who could feel the pain coming of of him. She grabbed her own heart as she softly squealed in pain. ''pain if I resist again.''
''Belle, stop.'' Baelfire spoke up, his eyes roaming over Lillian. If she was in pain, than surely Gideon was in even more pain than the teenager was.
''I'm sorry. -- Are you okay?'' Before Gideon could answer, the door bell jingled, Emma's arrival being acknowledged by the family.
''That was my parents. They're looking for the other half of Blue's wand. Any luck in here?''
''Not yet, but we've just begun.''
''Well, can we hurry it up?'' She questioned, her eyes turning to Rumple's instead of Lily and Baelfire. ''Once my folks find that wand, I'm gonna go after the Black Fairy.''
''Belle, I may have a way to speak to our son, but I need something from you first ... your trust. Do you trust me, Belle?'' She looked at him for a moment before exhaling and nodding at him.
''I trust you'll do what's right for him, what's right for our family.''
''Then I need you to watch over us while we're gone.'' Lillian's eyes widened in realization, Rumple was going to take Gideon into the dream realm.
''Gone?'' Emma questioned as rumple grabbed a container, Emma's hand pointing at the box.''
''What the hell is that?''
''The sands of Morpheus.''
''Father... what are you doing?'' Gideon asked as Rumple walked closer to his son, his lips pursed before speaking.
''I'm going to the only place I can speak to you, Gideon... Your dream realm.'' He threw the sand into his face, making him fall asleep within a second. Gold gave a small smirk before taking another hand of the sand. ''Oh, and, uh... Miss Swan, you get to come with us, too.'' He spoke before throwing it into her face too. He than passed the bottle to Lillian. Nodding at her as she put some of the sand into her own hand, throwing it towards her mentor.
''And now?'' Bae asked her.
''And now ... we wait.''
When they had placed Emma and Gold into a more comfortable position, Belle, Lillian and Baelfire sat down, waiting for them to return. ''You don't seem to be this bothered?'' Belle spoke up, her eyes focused on Bae. ''She's your grandmother and all ... I thought you would have more ... more of a reaction.''
Baelfire raised his shoulders as he looked at his father, Lillian placing her hand onto his knee in comfort. ''I guess I just don't care for her. I never met her before and after what she has done to my father and now to my brother.'' He sighed as he grabbed Lily's hand. ''And to Lily and Peter.'' He sighed as he shook his head. ''I just don't see her as family.''
He smiled at Lillian and the others in the room, nodding his head. ''The people in this room, and the ones at home ... they are my family.'' Lillian smiled as he pulled her into a hug, kissing the top of her head.
Peter looked into Henry's story book, his eyes roaming the pages of Malcolm and Fiona. He frowned at the pages, he had no memory of the events whatsoever. It seemed strange to him, he had once been Malcolm and now he didn't know a single thing about him anymore.
''Mum must have done that.'' Liam spoke up. Peter's head turned to his son as he frowned at him, Luna chuckling alongside her brother. ''Mum must have pulled the memories out, making sure you weren't the same person anymore.''
''You two know about that?'' He questioned, one eyebrow lifting slightly as the twins nodded at him.
''Henry's read us the entire story about you and mom.'' She smiled at him as she sat next to him on the couch. Luna's eyes landed on a page, her eyes furrowed closer together before grabbing the book from her father's hands.
''Hey what are you? -- ''
''Grandpa's a savior?'' Peter frowned at her before quickly grabbing the book again, his eyes rapidly widening.
Regina had come into the shop just before Rumple, Emma and Gideon woke up again. Lillian and Baelfire helping their father back onto his feet.
''Now that nap time's over, it's time for battle.'' Regina held up the full made wand, her eyes widening before her lips parted into a wide smile.
''You found the other half.''
''Indeed I did. Now let's go de-wing that bat.''
''Actually... I don't think I'm the Savior that's supposed to fight the Black Fairy.'' Lily frowned at her before Emma turned to her mentor. ''Gold... this is on you.''
''Wait. Gold is a Savior?''
''Rumple, is this true?'' Belle questioned. Lily and Baelfire turned to each other in shock before turning back to their father.
''Yes, it's true.'' He breathed out.
''All these years ... All these years I've known there was a good man behind the beast. Now you know it, too.'' Belle spoke up, hugging her husband.
''I don't know what I know... but I know I must do this.''
''Let me help you. I can...''
''No. I've put you in enough danger.'' He stopped his son from speaking, his eyes looking at the wand. ''I think it's best if I face my mother alone.''
Lillian rushed into her house as Peter and the twins were ready to leave. ''Lily, I have to tell you something, -- Rumple's a savior.'' She nodded sadly, her head hanging low.
''I know,'' When Peter frowned at her, she shook her head and her hand at him ''it's a long story.'' Peter held the book up, the pictures of Fiona and Malcolm together.
''Did you delete these?'' He shook his head for a moment before speaking again. ''My memories, did you delete them?''
Lillian looked at the pages for a while before shaking her head at him. ''No, I -- I didn't.'' She looked at Peter before taking him into her arms, his head resting on her shoulders before they each pulled back. ''They must just have -- vanished after I pulled you and Malcolm apart. -- But I -- I didn't do that, not on purpose at least.''
He gave a small nod before pulling her into another hug, pulling the twins with him as well.
''I love you all.''
''We love you too dad.''
''I love you Peter.''
