i wake up and feel billie move slightly next to me. i look down and see her holding onto me with her head on my chest. she's adorable. "awe" i whisper and kiss her forehead. i grab my phone from my nightstand and see a notification saying i got a text.

hey, i heard about elizabeth. i hope
you're all doing good. i miss you.
can we talk?
as i read through it i furrow my eyebrows and sit up. "huh?" billie asks groggily, looking around as she blinks her eyes open. "sorry" i suck through my teeth and reread the messages.
why does she want to talk?
"who are you texting?" she asks. "may texted me." i tell her, handing her my phone. "are you going to text her back?" she questions once she finishes reading. "i don't know. i know what she's wanting to talk about and i'm positive she wants to get back together with me. but i'm so much happier with you" i respond. "text her back. i want to see what she wants." she orders. "i- okay." i nod.

almost two minutes later my phone dings and billie grabs it. "i want to read it" she explains. "well damn bil, let me read it too!" i laugh and struggle to look at my phone as she hogs it to herself.

like i said, i miss you. i'm so sorry
for what happened between us. and
i know you're with billie but believe me
when i say, i am so much better for you
than she is.
billie gasps as she reads through it and furrows her eyebrows. just by looking at her you can see that she is both angry and confused. "who the fuck does she think she is?" she mumbles before she starts to type. "billie no" i groan and take my phone back, seeing what she started to type. she presses send and i read through it.

and that's a fact. elle doesn't want to
get back together with you, you hurt
her not only mentally but physically!

as i read over it i start to laugh a little. billie is so protective. sure it can be annoying sometimes, but it's also kinda cute. my phone dings once again and billie dives for it, grabbing it out of my hand and standing up from my bed. "sorry" she tells me and kisses my forehead before reading the text.

and let me talk to her. don't ever
speak to me ever again, slut.
billie groans and hands me my phone back. i pull her down to me and put my arm around her, kissing her forehead. as i read the message i feel my blood start to boil.

know her! billie is so much better
for me than you are. if you think
calling the love of my life names like
that is going to make me want to
get back together with you, you are
horribly incorrect. don't be a dumbass.
i turn off my phone and put it back on my nightstand. "seriously, who the fuck does she think she is?" i sigh and shake my head. "i really don't know. she is a fucking bitch" she responds, laying her head on my shoulder. i turn my head and kiss her forehead. "you're my favorite" i tell her and move so i'm facing her. "i love you ellie" she says with a small smile. "i love you too bil"
