Homecoming day
Lexi Gains p.o.v
I woke up homecoming morning. Its a Saturday and i have nothing to wear tonight. I hit up Ali to ask if she has anything to wear and if she doesn't then we can hit the mall. I dialed her number. The dial tone rang 3 times before she answered the phone.
"hello?" She answered.
"are you sleep?" I asked, because her voice sounded a little raspier than usual.
"Not anymore, wassup?"
"i was wondering if you wanted to hit the mall today for our homecoming outfits."
"Hell yeah girl, what time?"
"Like about an hour."
"OK call you back in 30 minutes."
"ok bye."
"Bye boo!"
I hung up and walked out my room and into the living room where Brian was sleeping on the couch with The Parker's playing on the TV.
"Bri" i said whispering and trying to wake him up.
"Wassup?" He mumbled half sleep and half wake.
"can you take me to the mall?"
"The mall?"
"Yes."
"What time?"
"in like an hour."

I was so surprised. Usually if i would ask Julian he would tell me to take the bus or ask me to give him some gas money. I lightly kissed him on the cheek and ran back to my room to get ready. Brian is like a Big brother to me. Just like Julian but he is more of the one who wants to see me happy and Julian is the one who protects me. I cut on the hot water and jumped in for about the average time of 10 minutes and jumped right out. I wrapped the towel around me and took out the clothes i was going to wear to day. After getting dressed i went back in the bathroom and brushed my teeth. My hair was curly so i really didn't bother doing anything special with it. I put my snap back backwards on my head, grabbed my money and went back out to the living room. Brian was up, texting. I walked over towards where he was and plopped down next to him.
"You ready?" He asked me putting his phone faced down.
"Yeah but my friend hasn't called me yet." I replied.
"oh ok."
"who were you texting?"
"None of you buisness."
"it is my business."

"alright, it was one of my girls."

"Yeah."

Suddenly we herd a door slam shut and laughing from Julian and Langston.
"Bro but for real though..!" Langston said.
"Nah shes busted."Julian replied.
Me and Brian stared at them with curiosity.
"Oh wassup y'all." Julian said clearing his throat.
Brian shook his head and turned his attention back to his phone.
"hey." I greeted both of them.
"wassup. Lexi where you finna go?"Langston asked.
"Somewhere."

"The mall."
"with what money?" Julian asked.

"Both of y'all SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Brian said irritate.

"ALL YALL SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Chance screamed from her room.
My phone began to vibrate.The caller i.d read Ali. I slid the answer button on my phone.
"Hello?"I answered.
"I'm ready!"
"Ok.. we are on our way."
"OK."
I hung up the phone and turned towards Brian.
"I ready!"I exclaimed.
"Ready for what?"
"To go you dumb ass!"
"Oh yeah.. well come on." He said jumping up from the couch.
"bro can we ride with you?" Jules asked.
"Yeah!" Bri said as walked towards the front door. I followed behind him and Lang and Jules followed behind me. Jules of course called shoot gun witch left me and Lang in the back seat.
"Alright where are we going?"Bri asked as he pulled out the bumpy drive way.
"Her house is like literally right around the corner." I replied as i began to give him the directions to her house. With in 5 minutes we were in front of her medium sized house. I didn't even have to text her and tell her we were outside because she was already looking out the window, waiting for our arrival. Who knew that we would dress the same today. "Wassup!" She said happily.

Something has gotten his panties in a bunch.
About 20 minutes later....
We finally pulled up to the bridge. Langston has dampened my mood to today by yelling at me like her was crazy. I did nothing to him. I haven't even talked to him at all and he feels the need to take his bullshit out on me! I got out the car with out telling any one goodbye. All i could do is slam the door and storm off inside the mall. Ali chased after me as usual.
"LEXI WHATS WRONG." I could hear the worry in her voice.
"you didnt hear Lang!"I said raising my voice.
"FUCK HIM! girl its homecoming day, we got a lot to do and we are not letting a silly boy fuck up our whole day!"
"girl you right, Lets get in here, find something to wear for to night, and get our sexy ON!"

I began laughing my way into the mall.

We walked out the mall with 5 bags of clothes, shoes, accessories,and etc. My legs ached, My stomach growled and i was just ready to to get this night over with. Suddenly i began to get this urge to tell Ali how i was feeling. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally about Corahn.
"Ali i have to tell you somthing."I said ready to confinded my secret emotians.
"Yeah boo anything."She said sitting on the near by bench.
I plopped right down next to her and connected my eyes with her eyes.
"I'm still in love with corhan." i admitted
"well duh.. i been knew that."She said laughing.
"no like i really want to give him a chance but... my body wont give in."

My Phone rang and immediately knew it was Brian calling because i set his own song as his special ring tone. I slid the answer key

I pressed the end key on my phone and we swiftly walked out to the car. Once i reached the car, some girl was talking Brian through the window. That must be the girl Brian was talking about. She was pretty though. I walked closer to the car.
"excuse me"I said tryin to get into the passengers side of the car. She moved out my way giving me a stank look. "I wish a bitch wood like a tree in this bitch." I thought to my self giving her the stank look right back.
"who is she." She said rolling her eyes and rolling her head. She might think his girl or something, because no bitch says that out of the blue.
"Tynisha.. i have to go.. you know.. i gotta take my LITTLE CUZ home so she could get ready for homecoming."

Me and Ali laughed the whole way back to my house. While shopping me and Ali had planned to get ready at my house and then after homecoming Me,Adrian, Ant's date,Ant,Djaay, And many more planned to go out to eat at chillies. We pulled into the Drive way and we all hopped out the car. I was 5:15 and Homecoming doesn't start until 8:00 and doesn't end until 11:30. Me and Ali ran past the Ranger Gang and their girl friends and into my room. I shut the door and immediately began laying my outfit out on the bed.
"You want to take a shower after me or.. Take a shower in Jules room?"I asked handing her a wash towel folded on to of a folded dry towel.
"Julian's room because we still have our hair and make up to do."She replied taking the towels out my hand.
"OK let me go tell him your using his shower."
I opened the door and walked into the living room. I stood there.. My eyes stuck on Langston and Bee Bee. Their kiss looked as passionate as me and Corahn's when we dated. No actually their kiss looks as it felt when Langston kisses me.
"umm can we help you?" Julian asked staring at me.
I shook me and came back to life.
"uh can Ali use your shower."I asked.
"Yeah... Now is that it?"
"Damn you fucking rude!"I said walking back to my room.
Wassup with these niggas today. One day they want me to do something for them and the next day they act like I'm their arch enemy. I entered my room and slammed my door.
"He said yeah you can." I said walking to my bathroom and turning on my shower water. I know i took a shower this morning but I have to be fresh before getting into new clothes.
"what wrong with you?" She asked before leaving my room.

She smiled and i watched her leave my room and disappear into Julian's room. I quickly closed my door and began to undress and get into the shower. As i washed my body my heart began to beat really fast. I had no idea why but i knew that something bad was going to happen to night. I could feel it.
Corahn Lockridge P.O.V.
"Damn bro we look hella good!" I exclaimed to Malik and vinny.

"Bro i think i should tell you now since the Homecoming is hours away."Vinny said putting his hands on my shoulder.
"Wassup?" I questioned him.
"I set you up with a girl i met at my little sister birthday party."
"What? Who is she?"
"you have to pick her up around 7:30 and i just texted you her address and phone number." He said pressing the send button on his cell phone.
"Bro what the fuck.. im not even over Lexi yet."
"Oh yeah once you see this girl bro.. You will be way.. over your baby mama!"
"Nah i dont think so."I said shaking my head.
"You will."H said smiling.
"Alright y'all i gotta go get my girl." malik said grabbing his keys.
"Alright Bro you riding with me?" I asked Vinny.
"nah bro i gotta go get my date and my date's date."

"yeah so i will see you at Homecoming."
"Alright.. but whats the girls name?"

Lexi's p.o.v.

"girl Corahn is going to take one look at you and go cray!"Ali exclaimed.
"You think so!" I asked.
" Hell yes girl you look hot, even with that little baby bump."
"Damn the bump is noticeable?"
"Kind of, but not yet."
"oh OK."i said shurgging it off.
Suddenly i got a knock at my door. I walked over to my door with Ali following behind me. I opened my room door and it was Sage and Indi. I let them in and quickly closed the door.
"you guys look adorable!"Indi eclaimed cheeseing extra hard.
"Thanks.' We both said at the same time.
"Come on y'all let me take y'all's picture." Sage said pulling out her funny.
Ali and I posed as she snapped away. Poesing for the camera. Another knock was at the door.
"COME IN." I screamed.
In came Vinny and Langston came in. I took one look at Langston and quickly walked into my bathroom to clean up the mess we made with our hair and make up tool. But it seems as, as much as i tried to get away.. Lang was always there.
"Lexi!" He said in a firtatous way.
"Lexi,Lexi,Lexi... You look... SEXY!" He exclaimed licking his big juicy lips.
"Umm thanks." I replied rolling my eyes.
"Girl, im sorry.. I mean this morning me and bee bee got into this big argument and i was just irritated.. I sincerely didn't mean to scream at you the way i did."
"Lang when is every guy tired of being sorry?"

"I mean i have been apologized to multiple times and i just don't get why you guys even waste your breath on me."
"Lexi i really am. if i wasn't sorry i really wouldn't be saying it, do you think?"
"yeah you are right."
"are you still mad at me." He said holding out open arms.
"no." I replied smiling so hard my dimples showed.He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my lips gently before pulling away.
"ill see you later..." He said biting his lips and walking out the bathroom and out of my room. I don't understand how he could kiss me and not even care if his own girlfriend was in the room.. but hey i honestly don't care. I walked back into my room and stood before Ali and Vinny.
"You ready to go?"Vinny asked with his arm around my bestie.
"YEAH, leggo!" I replied.
I waved by to everyone as i walked out the house and out to Vinny's car that was parked on the curb. I opened the right door of the back seat and hopped in.
Corahn Lockridge P.O.V.
I pulled up to a small house in Los angeles. It looked as if it had 1 bed room in the whole house. "Taylor, Taylor,Taylor." I repeated her name over and over again so i wouldn't forget. I hopped out of my car and walked up to the small tan house with no drive way nor a garage. Knocking on the door, my stomach gathered butterflies and my heart beated like the bass of my stereo in my car. Suddenly the squeaky black black door swung open and out came a girl that looked as if she had jumped off a magazine cover. Her light caramel skin was so shiny, He smile was as white as the moon, and her curves.. oh my her curves! Her curves molded that dress she was wearing.
" Corahn right?"She asked.
"yeah..Taylor right?"I said trying to get a clarification.
"Yes, and your even cuter than i imagined."
"Thank you. And you are... wow!"
"ummm.. Thank.. You?"
"any ways so are you ready to go?"
"Yeah!"
She closed the door of her house and i walked her my car and even opened the door for her. I walked over the drivers side and hopped inside.Soon enough we were rolling out. During the ride we took the time to get to know each other. She was just so beautiful i couldn't even keep my eyes on the road.
About 10 minutes later.....
Finally pulled into the parking lot of my school. Limos and party buses sat at the curb of the school. I got out the car and went to the passengers seat to open her door.
"thank you" she replied. Our arms latched together like a hook and i walked her into my school. Plenty of people came up to me complementing me on my date and my look. Damn i felt like i was and the bottom now i feel like I'm on top of the world. Tonight's is gonna be a good night, for sure.
Lexi P.O.V
My searched around for Corahn as i stood in the middle of the dance floor. Kstylis Booty me down was playing and of course it was a twerk session. I felt someones warms hands wrap around my waist and whisper in my ear "twerk me!" I could tell whose voice it was cause only ANT would say some freaky shit like that!
"ANT WHAT THE HELL!" I said yanking his hands off my waist and turning around so that i was facing him.
"what?" He said laughing. I don't know why i was so crazy about his dimples but he made me smile also.
"where is your date?"
"she got the "flu" but its Gucci though."
"oh damn that sucks, have you seen corahn?"
"Uh yeah he just walked in here with this bad bitch! I mean little mama is bad, He is over there though." He pointed corahn's way and i couldnt believe my eyes. His arm was around some bitch he doesn't even know! My heart had literally felt like it had been ripped out my chest by the one i had once love'd.
"ohh girl you see that girl corahn is with.. She think she cute with that 2010 Louisvuliton bag she had on her wrist!" Adrian exclaimed.
I ignored Adrian and kept staring at him. He seemed so happy. I wish i could just slap that damn smile off his face! He stared in my direction and our eyes connected. I quickly looked away.
"Whats wrong Lexi?"Djaay asked standing by me.
"nothing.." I replied short and simple.
"You want me to get you a drink?"
"yes please and make sure its not-"
"spiked, yeah i know." He walked away to get my drink. No matter how hard i tried to fight it my eyes still wandered off to corahn he was sitting at one of the tables with mystery girl, his best friends and one that i call MY best friend. I bet she knew all along! I cant trust these niggas! I really cant. Before i knew it Djaay was in front of me with a cup of Hawaiian punch in his hand. I took the punch from him.
"thank you." I replied.
"Your welcome." He replied putting his hands in his dress pants pocket.
"i seen you looking at Corahn?" Djaay said.
"......" I was speechless. I didnt want to make it obvious.
"do you still love him?"

We walked together to the to the table near Corahn's and sat down.
3 hours later....
Corahn Lockridge P.O.V
All night we have been dancing talking and i even got a little kiss from her. We had 13 minutes until the Homecoming was over and Now was the time to announce homecoming queen and king. I knew me and Lexi was nominated. But i wasn't sure if i had won or not.
"homecoming queen and king of 2011 is...... Lexi Gains!"
I watched as she strutted up on to the stage to claim her tiara. That's the first time in months i had seen her smiling so big. I had to admitt i still miss her but i mean its time to start something to new with Taylor. Suddenly the drum roll was starting again.
"The homecoming king of 2011 is... Star foot ball player Corahn Lockridge.
I was surprised to win something that i had won for 3 years now. I walked up on to the stage and claimed my crown. As i walked up there i noticed something wasn't right. Lexi's smile suddenly faded away and i watched as she stormed off the stage. They placed the crown on my head but for some reason i didn't feel like the king. I watched as she disappeared out of the school gym and Djaay and Ali chased after her. The music began playing with out a care the queen wasn't by my side. I walked off the stage and stood before Taylor. Promise by jagged edge played.
"May i have this dance?" I asked Taylor as i held out my hand.
" You may." she responded.
We made our way onto the dace floor. I wrapped my hand around her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck. She laid her head on my chest as we moved slowly to the beat. This felt so wrong, but yet so right.
Lexi P.O.V.
I stood in the hall way of the school leaning against the wall. I hadn't noticed the my "best friends" had chased after me. Ad where the hell is Adrian!
"Lex whats wrong?" Ali said calmly.
"I'M FUCKING TIRED OF PEOPLE ASKING ME WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!"
"Ali can i please talk to her..alone."Djaay said.
"But-"
"OK! Lexi imma call you."
I rolled my eyes at her and looked away. I knew she was gone when i herd the gym door close.
"she knew!" I exclaimed.
"About what?" djaay asked.
"About the girl corahn is with!"
"Calm down.. i pretty sure she really didn't know."
"Then why is when over there laughing with her and acting like she is the shit!"
"I dont honestly know lexi.. "
"what ever.. can you just take me home?"
"yeah.. if that's really what you want to do?'
"yeah the dance is almost over anyway and i really don't want to be here with fakes!" I walked out the school with Djaay following close behind me. I made my way to his all black 2010 camaro and swiftly opened the passenger door and hopped in. Djaay shortly got in on the drivers side of after me. He pushed the button to start and placed Chris Brown's mix tape CD in the CD player of the car and pulled out the school parking lot.
Corahn Lockridge P.O.V
As the dance ended i noticed that Lexi nor Djaay was no where to be found. I admit i was searching for her and i felt a part of me die when i noticed that the two supposedly "best friends"were no where to be found. Me and Taylor headed to my car and hopped in the whip. I pulled out the parking lot with out letting anyone know i was leaving. I was tired of chasing after someone who acts like they didn't care for me. I'm tired of being the bad guy when shes the one sneaking around with Lang behind bee bee's back. My heart ache suddenly turned into anger as i thought about it. You can call me bi- polar but i call my self logical. I pulled up to Taylor's house.
"Umm thanks for a great night, you have my number right?" She asked smirking.
"Yeah." I said biting my lip. Before i knew it, our lips were getting to know each other well. She pulled away and looked me in my eyes.
"Call me."She whispered before getting out of her car and heading into her house. Is at there reminiscing before i pulled off and headed home.
Lexi gains p.o.v.
The whole ride was quite. Chris brown's sexy voice filled the car as we stopped in front of my house. I looked at him as he stared at me trying to figure out my emotions.
"Thanks." I said.
"Your welcome."
We stared at each other for a while before he leaned in. Our lips connected and his tongue slid into my mouth making this kiss passionate. I thought about all the events that happened tonight and suddenly it all faded away. I pulled away and started into his brown eyes.
"uh i have to go."I said reaching for the car door handle.
"uh.. yeah.. yeah me to." He said stuttering a bit.
I got out the car and walked swiftly to the front door and unlocked it with my house key. I walked inside to see Brian and Julian watching final destination on the couch.
" How was Homecoming?" Bri exclaimed.
"don't feel like talking about it." i said making my way to my room. once i reached my dark room i closed the door behind me and placed my mini purse on my dresser next to the dried roses and teddy bear Corahn bought me. I had been so much into drama that had barley notice the dried roses that once were red. I picked it up and put it close to my nose. The smell was still the same and the bear was the scent of his cologne. But i had to let go. I had to let go of my memories and face the facts that I'm always just going to be his babies mama. I walked over to my trash can, the dried roses in my hand. I watch as the dried roses hit the bottom of my trash can. My life is as bad as those dried roses.
