About some decades ago a special envoy arrived at the imperial palace of Razia, the visit by the envoy of the Lana empire was of great significance. To establish an alliance with the prosperous sun empire, a weeks long meeting was held and everything regarding the details of the alliance was carefully discussed by all the officials of the court. However a troublesome storm surged during the long running debate taking place at the imperial court and this storm took the most terrible turn in history. A member of the royal family of the sun empire was violated by the special envoy sent by Lana, the victim died and the convict paid for his crime with his death. Two deaths caused the outbreak of a war between two kingdoms, the most prosperous empire overcrowding the small island kingdom, and the lanas lost terribly to the Razias. Thus even after the bitter defeat, despite how many decades had passed, the grudge that was born out of the war was still prevalent in the two kingdoms, the deep hatred of fire never dying out.
The sun empire lost their future queen while the lana lost their most credible future ruler. That was the true tragedy of the reason behind the outbreak of a horrifying war where thousands of lana people were massacred mercilessly.
Now, right before his eyes the man sitting on the throne before his court of ministers, was the younger brother of the dead flower. Although he knew all these because he had investigated, his intuition was telling him the rumours were indeed true.
"Prince Shand greets King Satt's court of ministers." Following his action the three people accompanying him paid their respects as well, however inside, they were sweating with horror at how their crown prince was becoming more and more strange.
"Crown prince Shand, please do raise your head, after all you are the next ruler of the moon empire it is not appropriate for you to bow down so many times a day." King Satt spoke as he got up from his seat. He personally walked down to receive him. Staring at the red mark on his forehead he smiled at him. "However, i am a little bit curious as to why the crown prince has come to Razia without any official notice. And...." He looked at the three men behind him. "It seems like you are here without the royal family's knowledge?"
No matter how thick a person may be the unannounced visit of this special envoy left an unsettling feeling into the hearts of everyone present at the hall.
He looked at the king, with an elegant smile blooming on his face, his beautiful eyes were a mix of orange and yellow, they were glowing beautifully, like amber eyes, with no hint of panic or hesitation he let out a small sigh.
"Well, to be honest, i have come here without the permission of my royal family members....alas...ever since i woke up they have been keeping me imprisoned inside a giant room with big four walls, and because this prince felt like he was going insane i made a bold decision of leaving without notice temporarily. Of course, i will be returning soon. However i had been out of consciousness for about two years so curiosity got the best out of me and thus i left to see how the whole world had changed during my slumber. Hehe! Then i heard about the prospering kingdom blessed by the sun's halo. I had always been curious and was eager to visit, so without any delay i had departed to visit the fifteen kingdoms, with good will for the heaven's mercy on my poor soul. I hope the king bless me with hospitality."
When he said each and every word he looked at the ministers as well, playing with his eyes, wearing an elegant smile, at the last sentence he looked at King Satt with genuine eyes as if requesting him not to tell any news of his arrival. This whole image left the impression of a playful young teenager, extremely unexpected.
The nerve of this prince.........
Was what everyone were thinking. When the king asked him he answered him very honestly, not even a single lie was spoken. Contrary to how people would lie when interrogated, because he came out really honest it kind of threw everyone off, taking them by complete surprise.
"Hahaha!" Suddenly someone laughed. Taking his liberties at laughing so openly, of course it was Eustin. However this time his laughter resounded and lingered for a bit longer. His whole face was beet red and his eyes were struggling against tiny tear drops that were about to drop down from his laughing eyes.
Some of the officials shook their heads hopelessly.
The envoy ignored his laugh and shamelessly slanted his eyes at him, scanning him up and down. He smirked and returned his attention upfront.
King Satt noticing him look over fakes a cough.
"Well, the crown prince is indeed still young and full of vigour. Of course the imperial palace welcomes your visit. Please feel free to request anything the crown prince desires."
Prince Shand let out an "Oh?" Then he shamelessly stated. "Then i would like a tour to this majestic palace of this prospering kingdom. And if possible i would also like a personal courtyard without a crowd of attendance, near the majestic royal garden, for me and my people to stay for some days. Please let me thank you in advance." He left no room for negotiation, leaving even the king speechless.
Staring at his elegantly smiling face Eustin looked over at him. "The crown prince of Moon kingdom, the rumours did injustice to you. Certainly you are very different from how the public portrays you."
"The people are not to be blamed. Where there is society there will always be criticism and misinformation. Sadly there are only few who believe in their eyes rather than their mouth and ears." He spoke nonchalantly. The former playful facade had now worn off his face and what was reflected was a clean reflection of a very complicated man wearing who knows how many layers of masks on his skin.
This man standing before them, was the incompetent crown prince of the moon empire. Rumour had it that he was born with a silver spoon, not only spoilt but also rotten evil, cunning and tyrannical, a disgrace to the nobles of all kingdoms. The only thing worth looking at was his beautiful face and his unique shimmering eyes. A total rag like him was gifted with the most noble eye color in the royal lineage and yet all he could do was shout and trample over people with his power. Even his own family was no exception. Adding mud to the dirt he was the only male in the royal family so without a doubt he would be the one to inherit the throne.
But about two years ago he got injured because of his one of his whips and fell into a state of coma. Thereafter, no one could cure him so his family took great care of his motionless body.
However incompetent and evil he was, the heavens bestowed a blessing upon his eternal slumber, maybe they gave him a new chance to restart his life so the unmoving sleeping eyes finally moved and opened again two months ago with a new refined crown prince.
Surely people do learn when they were personally visited by the blade of the reaper, escaping his claws did a hundred of good to the prince who was once rumoured to be a total trash.
