Okay... Just for you all who will read all of this, be aware that it will be chaotic and everything I will say here is my personal opinion on this matter, mostly based only from movies knowledge about new or old canon. I'm not 'true fan' of Star Wars. I'm sad. :o

Don't comment if you will not have any arguments, because it is easy to say something just to be toxic in internet. I don't really care about this, and you should know about this after several times I said this, but |I will not tolerate any just toxic war in comments.

I will cut this into 4 parts. 3 parts for overall talk about each movie, and last part about entire thing.

About messages asking me if I will update book with new stories... I don't know. I'm on permament hiatus, and I don't really want to write more for Watppad. I told my readers several times that I write here only for fun, and while some people can still believe that I do this only for 'stars', believe what you want.

I started writing Star Wars story with 'of course' female Kylo, but right now I don't feel to finish it. Also I kinda created half of story with either Ada or Claire after my first shoot into Resident Evil universe, but stopped writing too... Maybe at some point I will finish it, but who knows... And yeah it was better than this shitty one shots with Rebecca and Jill where I don't really knew anything about them or this world. Geez can't wait for RE3 and cmon' make RE1 also in this style, Jill tits having jiggle physics isn't enough Capcom...

I have also almost finished very long last chapter of Ela Bosak story, but don't want to write chapters before, and I don't know if anyone at this point want or expect to know how that story would end, soo maybe at some point I will just post last chapter.

SPOILERS!

I think it is obvious that this will have heavy spoilers.

----------------------

Let's start with episode 7 Star Wars the Force Awakens.

Everyone know that this movie was safest one of new trilogy. It is just episode 4 made in some new setting for new young generation who don't really feel magic from old trilogy or even episode 1/2/3.

This movie perfectly fits into Lucas ideology that his entire saga have clear connections and story had same themes (I don't remember how he called this thing, but it is something common in other popculture creations 'snake eating his own tail'.)

In both Lucas trilogies we had death of masters, los of hand, love etc. etc. We don't had strong plot twist like with Vader telling Luke that he is his father, but y'know it was harder, and we all know that Anakin will be Vader later, and we just kinda wanted to see how he became him. I will not talk about this 'theory' about 'Darth Jar Jar', while it is interesting concept of him being dumb idiot and making weird things in Phantom Menace it was at least scrapped, soo better not talk about this.

In episode 7 we have death of Han Solo that instantly made me feel vibes of Lucas trilogies. And honestly I really felt 'back in home' seeing Chewie with Han. One thing Disney for sure made good decision was making trilogy about goodbye to 3 characters. 7 - Clearly Han Solo is main, 8 - Luke, and 9 - Leia, but we all know what sadly happened.

Movie had several problems, like Phasma being only to show good new concept of something that took place of Boba Fett in new trilogy, Knights of Ren (9 movie is just showing that they were created also to just look good, but really no one wanted to tell anything about them, and after all I don't know if they were from Luke academy, or they are some sort of special stormtroppers or something else... We will be back to this topic later.)

Snoke is interesting in this movie, and while all of this theory that he is Darth Plagueis was intriguing and after 8 episode I thought that maybe it was idea for first, but after seeing that fans really conversated about it they scrapped it.

Yet, I think it is a good movie, had better and worse moments, but for me it was good back to Star Wars movies, and like many of fans I gave new trilogy fresh card.

This scene is why I really like ending of 7 episode. Song, face of Luke (You really see that Mark Hamill is happy to be back here). Rey looking at him with hope. People in cinema I was watching it clapped after this scene, and I was kinda happy. It was great cliffhanger, and I wasn't sure what to expect from future...

------

Okay, next one most controversial one...

Rian Johnson just took everything, and wanted to surprise everyone with turing everything upsidedown. I felt kinda like reading again Metro 2035, but while in the end I was really impressed by this story, I wasn't sure after seeing episode 8.

Movie is clearly focused about Rey and Kylo relationship (by force ofc. Don't worry Reylo fans.) and throws side characters aside. Finn is blank in this movie, and his entire thing with Rose is just eh... I would really like this movie more if he really died on Crait, but no... Like Rian wanted to do it, but in the end 'someone' said that maybe they will need him in 9 movie, but characters 'deaths' is problem in Star Wars overall.

Snoke death. I was really upset, and I will not hide this. After episode 7 and all of this ' I saw empire rise and fall' I really expected more, not just his dumb death without anything in back. He could die, but they at least could give us, here could be some fanservice even just say that he was this Darth Plagueis, why not? He is death now anyway.

Rey parents. I don't cared about this after some point. Even after entire movie I had in back of my mind idea, that maybe... 'They are no one' in eyes of Kylo, and maybe he is his 'sister/step-sister', but it is saved for last movie... Cmon Kylo just killed in 7 movie his father, his mother almost died in 8 episode and we know after this movie that his uncle just wanted to kill him with cold blood... I really expected for them to at least try twist like this with wibes of old trilogy.

Luke Skywalker. I really can see and understand why he decided to cut his connection towards force, and 'resistence', yet... I saw several of compilations where Mark Hamill said things about this episode after what he needed to 'correct' them.

I will stay with what he said. It's not my Luke Skywalker. I wanted to see master Skywalker, and while I know it was old canon thing... It was good thing. Meh Jedi Academy soo strong.

Time of this movie is another thing that just makes this very bad movie overall. It is too long even for Star Wars fan. In episode 9 is different thing... To much action that hide every plothole for people with no time to think what just happened.

Okay, but not everything was bad with this movie. I really think that this episode is most good looking from anothers. Crait is just gorgeous. Back to Luke Skywalker character I really like his 'fight' on Crait, all of this mocking with Kylo is just fun to see. His death is also kinda memorable moment, and I will not talk about this dumb plothole with his hand or green lightsaber. I don't like what they decided to do with his character, and while I understand why, at least they gave him good death scene.

===============

I agree with some guys that said quote:

" For people that don't had to do anything with Star Wars it is very bad movie, as ending for Star Wars new trilogy it is good movie, for end of entire saga it is bad movie. ' something like that.

This movie have tons of fanservice that just proves that after 8 movie they really wanted to be back towards safe movies. Abrams in my opinion don't really cared about things from 8 episode and after he got his 'destroyed' toys from episode 7 he just created what he wanted to after episode 7.

Movie don't give us any time to breath, and focus on action to hide plotholes and dumb things like 'funny' scene with using lightsaber as source of light... It is dumb if you start thinking about this, flaslight give you beam of light, while lightsaber would give you more light in center of it, even some people assumed that it could blind user of it in situation like this.

Movie don't have that good scenery like episode 8. Nothing looks better than Crait, and I had some hope seeing Kylo on first planet. (I guess it was Mustafar) Even his 'final' fight with Rey isn't that good looking, but had for me vibes from episode 3, just change water for lava and you have this...

Palpatine army. This is soo fucking dumb, and just made to make it as big finale they could with these destroyers being mini-deathstars... And I just laugh seeing comments that in like 40 years they just developed 'old' technology... You are comparing this universe to our own world, and it is mistake... If SWTOR is canon, then 'eons' before this they had almost same technology...

From where Palpatine had people to fill these destroyers? Okay, he could build these destroyers as hidden army, but hide his own army for several years? It is just dumb plot hole to be filled later by some comics or other things, just like how Palpatine was back, because movie don't give fucking shit about this.

I like first scenes of movie... Kylo meeting with Palpatine it is really good. Again we got fanservice after episode 7 (You people want to know who is Snoke? He is just a clone! Everything!)

Also I kind like idea with exploring finally rule of two ( I'm not 'true fan' soo I don't really know if in old canon they stated why Siths created this. In movies I guessed it is just twisted idea about disciple overpassing his master, showing that he is stronger, and with Siths ideology gaining more power from it. In this movie we got something else, and interesting and we kinda can understand more why Palpatine is always mocking his attackers to kill him. (I always thought that in episode 6 Palpatine just wanted to mock Luke into darkside with him trying to slash him with his lightsaber, but he would somehow deflect it or something)

Entire hidden locations is quite good looking, but like some people said. 'It looks like final map from game with final boss'. Palpatine in 'fight' with Rey just stated what I felt this movie needed. Final fight like in 6 movies with Vader and Luke under emperor eyes. It's probably just something I felt this movie needed in this place but, yeah there was no one at this point to do this... 'Luke had his father to save him...'

I really like idea with Rey and Kylo finishing off Palpatine in same situation but with red and blue lightsabers crossed. It would be more... Epic. Also, I kinda expected more than few words from other 'force ghosts'. Maybe it would be too much, but for close entire saga? Hell, there should be force ghost of Anakin trying to say something to Kylo, why he doesn't showed to him when Palpatine was faking as his voice? Some sort of block?

In this finale I don't feel pressure or epicness... This movie just don't created this at this point. I knew that Rey would kill him. I still remember, and still feel something seeing how Luke beated Vader, and then Palpatine wanted to kill him only to Vader save his son. It was, and is still epic? More unexpected than seeing that Rey just stood up, and killed Palpatine who just coudn't stop using force, he probably lost memories from his fight against Mace Windu.

Knights of Ren... They just come back to prove that they are nothing more than just show of good design for toys. I don't know if they are from Luke academy or just Kylo special troops or... What? Movie don't say anything... Uh, sorry they don't said anything. At this point Phasma was better created than them.

Deaths. Jesus why no one new from 'main' team can't die? Why no one can lose his freaking hand bc of lighsaber? Why no balls for anything? In 3 movie Anakin is burned alive. They have balls to show 2 women kissing for some countries without any point for plot, but do something more drastic that we know from saga? No, it's for kids.

Dumb Sith blade, and I mean moment where Rey look at remains of Death Star with it. It is soo dumb after we see that she is in throne room... Where Palpatine would have his secret 'stash', of course in his fucking throne room. Next thing... We see that this is remains of Death Star, everything is falling apart with Rey trying to make her way to throne room, yet... Inside 'secret stash' is perfectly fine, there is power and everything... Cookies probably too.

Rey Palpatine. Well, whatever... It is another fanservice in my opinion. She could be just some girl from garbage planet, but whatever. Her last scene is somehow good, but still I felt another cringe vibe with her 'Rey Skywalker', and cmon... Why there was force ghosts of Leia and Luke, but no Kylo?

Force Healing... It was worst possible introduction to it in strong movie canon. Why Rey could do it without proper training? I mean, why we doesn't heard about it from Yoda, or in 1/2/3 movies? Anyway, with snake thing she said that she gave him some part of her force 'life' part, soo I guess after scene with Kylo he just exchanged his life for her soo it is just like giving part of life force from one person to another, but wait... Rey healed Kylo after their fight, and his wound was pretty serious... Rey isn't anymore Mary Sue, because she had training from Leia that was taught my mighty master Skywalker we know from new saga... Yeah, sure.

Most cringe scene of entire new trilogy goes to moment when we see 'galaxy people' ships. I know it should look great and everything, but for me it was cringy, and I really don't like this space horses.

Next thing... Rose was just tossed aside, and it is soo clear in this movie, even more... Any sort of relationship is also tossed aside, and he got 'new grill' just like Poe, soo no bromance fans. Rey and Kylo just got what everyone expected at some point, and he even kissed her. Mannn it's better than Rogue One ending where I laughed that he didn't even kissed Jyn Erso aka male Kyle Katarn.

Abrams is going to fast in this movie with too many elements of story, that just hide every plot hole, because people don't have time to think about what just happened, because they see something new. Some critics said that this movie could be it's own trilogy... Well if you think that Palpatine don't had real foreshadowing in 7/8 movie then yes...

Because he doesn't had any! Snoke could be controled by anyone. I heard that in Lucas original idea he wanted to bring into canon this twi'lek female sith lady. (Maybe it is fake news, but maybe not?)

They could make something like Kylo having conversation with Hux who asks why Supreme Leader Snoke needs troops for some sort of shadow projects, and these people don't come back... There isn't clear connection towards this.

----

In entire new trilogy we don't know what is happening in galaxy, and how strong is First Order or how weak is Resistance. In episode 8 it is just like some spaceships just have fight, and galaxy don't give a fuck about this... In episode 9 everyone is scared of Emperor who just come back from grave? While everyone still don't believe in force?

This trilogy don't had clear concept. Yeah, sure we can see they wanted to make every movie with one of original trilogy character as one of mains. 7- Han 8-Luke 9-Leia, what they stated after this? 3 different directors for each movie? In Mandalorian we see that every episode is different, because we can clearly see style of each separate director, yet core story (episode 1/2/3/7/8) is very consistent.

I think Abrams don't wanted to use Palpatine if he could have entire trilogy, for me he wanted to do something like old one with Snoke being new emperor thing. Johnson on other hand wanted to create something new and fresh, and kill past. I think if he could make episode 9 we would see in finale fight between Kylo and Rey, and it could have surprising outcome that would change Sith/Jedi relationship from that moment for future.

Some people complain that in old trilogy Palpatine just showed after episode 4 and don't had really much backstory at that time, and yeah... But people don't understand one thing. It was first creations in this lore, everything started with old trilogy, right now they just can't say things like this, because it is pathetic excuses. This is why mostly even now if you watch properly movies with someone who doesn't really saw them it is magic thing. New trilogy don't have this. Sadly 1/2/3 is also bad with this, but it was really hard to create plot twist at that point. One thing is teories about Darth Jar Jar, and another great theories are about Palpatine stating that he is Anakin 'father'. I honestly expected in episode 9 for him to state that he created Ben gradfather and his family is just some sort of experiment to fuel his dark side or something and make another stronger connection for entire saga, but no... And it would make more awkward Reylo moment.

Soo they created mini-deathstars canons on every destroyer, but still they need dumb radio tower or other poor weak point in this entire overpowered army. It was really idiotic for me, because while first death star is also laugh thinking that they created this in that way, but after 'legends canon' or just after Rogue One we learn why is that soo easy to destroy something powerful like death star.

Luke is back! But who cares at this point? I was really expecting something after seeing last scene in episode 7, and after episode 8 I was dissapointed in this character, but well at least he had his role to the end of the story. Seeing him in episode 9 doesn't really give me any feelings. 'I was dumb, scared etc.' It is just another fanservice where fans get's what they wanted, Luke being back to some sort of master, but it is made also very bad. Him using force to took out his spaceship from underwater... Yoda did that not to show just how powerful he is, but to show and state something for young Luke, while Rey... She doesn't learned anything with this.

Ah yeah, and something that just hit me mostly. Spoilers at least 3/4 months before movie was relased... Seriously these spoilers were very accurate with just tiny bits being different or just not said. It's not something normal in this type of blockbuster.

I would really like to see what Lucas had in mind, yeah I readed about Whills and everything, but I guess we will never know how much Disney took from his scratches and how much changed or added. We can for sure see that Rey is kinda Kira, from early concepts.

Overall...

I could ramble and ramble about this, with more arguments why it is poor attempt to close entire saga or why these movies have not just 'Star Wars' errors or plot holes, but it would take too much time, and if anyone readed this entire chaotic thing - Thank you for your time, and I hope you understand my point of view and will not just come to flame or create any toxic behaviour. I understand that some people like new trilogy, I stated that I likeds parts of it, but please at least give some argumets... Create real conversation. That's how you show why you aren't part of any toxic community or just being idiot in internet.

   For me:

Episode 7 is very nostalgic type of movie, because of references, Han, Chewie or Luke scene.

Episode 8 is too long movie with great scenery and fight on Craite, but after watching it I just feel bad knowing how much was destroyed just to try create something new, and I still have in back of my mind what Mark Hamill said.

Episode 9 is safe fanservice movie with many plotholes, and ending that I find not satisfying to close entire saga. Cmon ENTIRE SAGA, we could see more from old movies. Ewoks, really?

I'm not 'true Star Wars fan', I grow up watching them, and I really liked episode 7. Yet, I will agree with my father that Disney didn't manage to create something at least as good as old trilogy. It is my own opinion, with my own arguments basing on my knowledge and everything else. I will have my old trilogy, I will also have things from 1/2/3 movies that I still like and while I'm quite upset that Saga ended in this way... I don't care anymore. I said to my friends and close ones that they should don't try to create anything related to 'Skywalker saga' and just try something new. I really would like to see something from times of KOTOR, with big fights between many Jedi and Siths, this little animations for me feel more 'Star Wars' than new trilogy.

And... Maybe it is time to give more main characters for other races, yeah yeah twil'eks... But others too. We will see in future, but right now I guess movies will not come back for... long, long time.

I'm going back to get more S+ in RE2.
