Good For You

Third Person POV

"Betty, thank you for coming to the office so early." Principal Weatherbee greeted Betty. She waved him off with a smile.

"Not a problem. What's going on?"

"We have a new student who should be coming in at any moment, and while we don't necessarily have time for a tour, I figured you could at least show her where all her classes are?" New student? How exciting. I wonder what she's like, Betty thought.

"Of course!" She said excitedly. Principal Weatherbee smiled and clapped his hands.

"Great, great! Her name is Y/N and she should be here any mo- right now." He chuckled and nodded toward you standing in the doorway to the school's office. Betty spun around to meet your eyes, a blush covering her cheeks almost instantly. She couldn't help but bite her lip as her eyes scanned over you. Tight black crop top with lace over the top of your chest and your exposed smooth flat stomach, skin tight black cut-off high waisted shorts with a red plaid flannel tied around your curvy hips, long tan legs that just seemed endless to her, your black heeled ankle boots just making you seem taller. You chuckled and smirked, because cute innocent girl next door was definitely your type. "Y/N, here's your schedule. This is Betty, one of our finest students. She doesn't have time to give you a tour, but she's going to show you all of your classes so you don't get lost." Betty held her books tightly to her chest, you could tell she was nervous. This is the most nervous Betty has felt around anyone.

"Thanks. Nice to meet you." You shook his hand before he headed into the office. Your eyes met Betty's again. Raising your eyebrow at her silence, she coughed and cleared her throat, taking your schedule out of your hand. Betty's fingers grazed yours and her heart thumped in her chest. She's so soft, she thought. Betty shook her thoughts from her head, she'd never really been attracted to girls before. There was just something about you, in her eyes, you were hypnotizing, and you hadn't even said a word to her.

"This is your homeroom. English. You have it with my friend, Jughead. Teacher is nice, expects good work though." Betty continued to ramble as you walked alongside her, backpack slung over one shoulder. You still hadn't spoken, but she could feel your eyes, she knew you were listening. "And your locker is right here. 413. Your combo is on this paper." Betty continued to show you where all your classes were before school started. You followed along silently, listening to every word that left her pink glossy lips. You didn't mind listening to her talk. She stopped suddenly, in the middle of the empty hall. She turned to look at you. "I'm sorry if I'm talking too much, I don't mean to ramble. You just haven't said anything. I'm sorry if you don't like me. I'm not cool or anything. Kinda nerdy actually. And I just don't-"

"Betty-"

"-want you to dislike me, because you seem-"

"Betty-"

"-so cool and I just-"

"Betty!" She jumped and looked up at you surprised.

"What? I'm sorry if I was rambling, I didn't mean to-"

"God, you're so fucking cute." You grinned at her. Your sentence stopped her in her tracks and her face turned bright red. The bell rang and you carefully took your schedule back from her slender hands. "I'll find you at lunch." Before Betty could respond, you strutted off to your homeroom and left her dumbfounded in the middle of the hall.

"Hey B, you okay?" Veronica approached her as students filled the hall. Betty shook her head.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm good." She laughed it off. Betty and Veronica linked arms, moving towards their lockers.

Halfway through the day, during lunch, Betty sat with her group of friends at a picnic table outside. She couldn't get you off her mind. The way you moved, your voice a low tone that was sultry and melodic at the same time, your long wavy hair, the curves of your slender body. The conversation stopped suddenly and Betty was snapped out of her trance when you sat down beside her and began munching on your apple without a word to anyone. Everyone looked at you like you were crazy. Betty could understand, they didn't know who you were and you haven't spoken at all. Jughead didn't say anything, but he reached across the table and bumped your fist, the two of you giving each other a slight nod. The silence was making Betty uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" Veronica was the first to speak up. You just looked at her. Your eyebrow raised with a slight smirk.

"This is Y/N, she just moved here. Y/N, you know Jughead. That's Veronica, her boyfriend Archie, and Kevin." Betty finally spoke up, for some reason she wanted her friends to accept you. Though it seemed you and Jughead already had some unspoken bond. She felt a twinge of jealousy.

"You, I must say, are a smokeshow. Oh my god." Kevin piped up. You laughed and flashed him a smile.

"So like, can you speak?" Veronica asked plainly. Betty couldn't understand why she was being so bitchy.

"Yeah. She's fucking hilarious." Jughead stood up for you.

"Really? Because you guys are all speaking for her. She hasn't said a word." Veronica scoffed. You watched Betty clinch her fists under the table and softened.

"Why does it bother you so much? Do I make you feel threatened?" You smirked, looking at Veronica with hard eyes.

"I'm bothered because you think you can just show up here and act like you're best of friends with us and we don't even know you."

"You're right. You don't know me. But how are you supposed to get to know me when you're just bitching at me because you're angry I'm getting all the attention you used to get?" You grinned. She was jealous because she didn't get all of the "new girl" eyes like she used to once you showed up. "But yeah, I'll leave. Unnecessary bitchiness isn't really my thing." You turned to Betty, who had been watching you since you spoke. "Find me later?"

Betty wasn't expecting you to address her. Red spreading across her cheeks. Her heart was beating rapidly in her chest. You smirked at her cuteness.

"Y-Yeah. I mean, I know your schedule, so.." Betty trailed off awkwardly. You smiled wider, squeezing her shoulder before picking up her bag and standing.

"I'll come with you. We have math together." Jughead grabbed his things and the two of you headed toward your next class. Betty turned toward Veronica with a frown.

"I don't know what your deal is, but you need to lay off her. She hasn't done anything to you. She's wonderful." Betty sighed, watching you walking away as she rested her head on her hand.

"Oh my god! You've got a crush on her!" Kevin cheered excitedly.

"Shhhhh! Yeah, I do, okay? I never thought I'd be into girls, but there's just something about her. I don't know what it is." Betty admitted, looking down at her hands shyly.

"Because she's hot and mysterious, and she's quiet and she looks like she could fuck anyone up. Totally opposite of sweet, innocent, straight-A Betty." Kevin explained. "I think there's definitely going to be some sexual tension in your near future."

The moment Kevin said "sexual", Betty couldn't get her mind off of it. You were sexy and mysterious, and all she could think about was the things you could show her, the ways you could make her feel. She sighed, pushing her thighs together and shaking her head, trying to focus on her last class of the day so she could come find you. The bell rang. Betty felt like she couldn't pack her things up fast enough. When she got into the hall, she was surprised to see you leaning against the lockers across from her, bag hanging off your shoulder and a cherry sucker between your lips. Betty internally groaned. It made her excited and nervous that you managed to figure out her class and be there to wait for her.

"How'd you know my last class?" Betty asked and you walked with her to her locker.

"Jughead told me happily. I think it's because I was so excited to see you though." Betty was shocked that you could say something like that with ease. You smirked at the blush covering her cheeks yet again. It was so easy for you to make her blush, and it melted your heart.

"R-Really?"

"Well, duh. You're cute and there's something about you. I was waiting because I want to take you out? I mean, obviously I just moved here and I wouldn't know where to go here in town, but there is this really cool place I saw on my way here and I'd like to share it with you, if you want?" You suggested hopefully. Betty felt her breath hitch. She's actually asking me out?, she thought.

"Y-Yeah, I'd like that." Admitted Betty, meeting your eyes as she shut her locker. "I want to get to know you, and I want you to get to know me."

"My car is outside. We can start right now." You suggested, pushing yourself off the lockers and walking backwards towards the exit, your eyes on Betty as she eagerly caught up to you.

You opened the door for her and she sat nervously in your passenger seat as you threw both of your bags in the trunk and got in on the other side. Betty smiled back at you when you flashed her a grin and started the engine.

"I figured we could pick up some food first, and take it to the spot I found?" You suggested.

"Sounds good to me. There's a diner called Pop's not far from here. Burgers and fries good?"

"Anything sounds great if I'm with you." Betty blushed again, darker this time. You were blatantly flirting now and it made Betty's heart race. You enjoyed that the most.

The two of you entered Pop's. You kept close to Betty, observing the small diner as Betty placed your orders to go. Betty could feel you watching her, your eyes scanning over every inch of her. She felt self conscious, wrapping her arms around herself as she talked to Pop. You were so hot and open with how you presented yourself, while she was sweaters and tight ponytails and innocence. When he walked away, you stood behind her. Betty froze. She could feel your warm breath on her ear.

"Don't be self conscious." You whispered. Betty couldn't believe it. It was like you knew what she was thinking just by watching her body language, and she only knew you for less than a day. "I mean it. Words cannot describe how attracted I am to you." You muttered, moving around her to lean against the counter beside her. Betty's whole body felt hot.

"Here you go, Betty." Pop set your bag of food on the counter and slid over your milkshakes. "Who might this be?" He turned to you.

"I'm Y/N. Just moved here. It's nice to meet you." You shook his hand with a smile.

"Well it was nice to meet you, Y/N. You two have a good night now."

"So where are you taking me?" Betty asked after a while. You just grinned.

"How about you give me the benefit of the doubt? You'll love it." Betty smiled at your words.

"Okay. I'll trust you. Better get there soon, fries are getting cold." Betty put her hand on your arm without thinking. She froze when she realized it, but before she could pull away you reached over and placed your hand on top of hers, squeezing lightly.

Your POV

After winding hills through tall trees, I pulled off the road into a clearing. I parked my car not far from the edge of the cliff. The sun was about to set. I could feel Betty relax beside me.

"Oh my.." Betty got out and headed towards a flat rock by the edge. I grabbed the food and approached her. Betty sat happily with her legs crossed, looking out over the valley as the sun started to set through the trees. I snapped a picture of her in a relaxed, natural state. The orange sun glowed off her porcelain skin, reflecting brightly in her eyes when she turned to look at me. She suddenly got nervous again, biting her lip. "What is it? What are you staring at?" Betty questioned.

"You. You look so beautiful." I said honestly. I set the food down beside her. The rock was raised to the height of my hips. She looked down shyly.

"Thank you." She muttered as I showed her the picture I took. "You're good at that. Taking pictures, I mean." She got her food out and we ate and talked. About anything and everything. I felt so comfortable talking to her. And she seemed so happy talking to me. "I'm really enjoying my time with you tonight."

"I'm glad, Betty. I am too." She adjusted so her legs dangled off the rock and I moved to stand between them, making her blush once again. I placed my hands on the rock by her hips, careful not to touch her. "You blush pretty easy."

"Only because of you." She mumbled, looking away. I chuckled. It grew quiet. Crickets chirped, the wind blew gently, stars glittered in the dark sky. Moonlight was the only light we had. "Y/N?" Betty turned to look at me again, her voice soft.

"Yeah?"

"I've never been with a girl. You're the first girl I've ever felt this way toward. It's scary and it makes me nervous but I really like you, and I like how you are with me, and how you make me feel." She confessed. I smiled.

"Well, I've been with girls, that part is not new to me. But how you make me feel is. Now all I want to do is make you smile and blush, and see you happy. I'm never the mushy type, and I don't talk much usually but with you it's just different. I really like you." I told her, moving one of my hands into hers and rubbing my thumb along her knuckles.

"I'm really nervous about this, but I.." Betty trailed off, nervously playing with my fingers.

"What?"

"I want you to kiss me." Her voice was barely above a whisper. Her eyes met mine. My free hand moved to her chin. I let my thumb gently trace her bottom lip. Her breath hitched. I pulled her face to mine, pressing my lips against hers. After a few seconds, her nerves relaxed. Betty moved her hands to my lower back, clutching my shirt tightly. She opened her mouth naturally and I let my tongue taste hers. My hand moved to touch her cheek, the other on the side of her neck with my thumb on her pulse point just below her jaw. She moaned against my lips and it was the most heavenly sound I ever heard.

"Woah." I breathed when we finally parted. I rested my forehead against hers. Her arms moved to lazily wrap around my neck when my hands gripped her hips.

"That was a perfect first kiss." She mumbled, her eyes still closed. I took the time to admire her. Every perfect feature.

"You're too good for me." I sighed.

"Oh shut up. This one day has been the best I've ever had. You're amazing." She assured me, tilting her head to peck my lips.

"I know that I have this image I present, and maybe I come off to other people some type of way, but I need you to know how serious I am about this. I know we just met, but I feel something when I see you and interact with you. And I don't want to miss out on what could possibly be the best girl to ever walk into my life." Betty watched me as I poured out my feelings. I waited nervously for a reaction.

"I've never been with a girl and I know I have a lot of tough conversations ahead about myself. But I want to trust you. With me and my feelings. I do trust you. So I'm jumping all in with you. Because I don't want any regrets." I smiled at her words, tightening my grip on her hips and pulling her against me as I kissed her again. Less careful, more passion. She kissed me back just as eagerly, pushing her fingers through my hair. Pulling away breathless, she smiled up at me, her eyes twinkling in the soft moonlight.

"We're both new to different things in this. You'll be good for me, I know it. You'll break me out of my shell and make me want to be a better version of myself. You're scared of these feelings but you're willing to open up to me and to try and that's what matters." Her soft hands cupped my face. "I want to do the same for you. I want to be good for you."
