I took a long breath as I opened the message. Tears rolled silently down my face as I started to type the direct message to him.

Hi there… I know you get millions of these a day, but I just needed to get this out. Talk to someone unbiased I guess. Honestly… I don’t know. Either way… my best friend just died in a car accident a few days ago… I’m not necessary looking for pity or anything, I just had say it. She was a fan of 1D, but not obsessive, and I wouldn’t call her a directioner. There’s only one reason for that though. She hated you. I know you probably don’t want to find out that someone hated you for no reason and I probably shouldn’t even be telling you this, but she did. The rants she used to go on to me about you used to make me laugh hysterically. I don’t know why, they just did. They were so funny and pointless. I found it amusing how she disliked people for no reason. I should probably be sending this message to Louis; she loved him. But for some reason, I’m sitting here, typing this out to you. Again, I still don’t exactly know why. I guess maybe because you’re apparently the most sensible. Anyway, thanks for reading this if you did. I doubt you will, but that’s okay too. Just typing it out is making me feel a bit better. But I know I won’t ever get over this completely. I miss her too much. But I’m smiling now… thinking about one of her rants. I hesitantly sent the message. Why I felt the need to sent this to him, I don’t know. I just did. I sat back in my chair and let thoughts of Maddi fill my head. I missed her so much and it had only been two days. I thought about how she used to yell at Jules whenever she used to bring up One Direction. She didn’t care about the topic in general, she would just start to rant about Liam, and then go on about Louis and how she always seems to like the oldest one no matter who or what it is.
I let out an audible cry. Anything and everything makes me think of her. This is going to be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to get past. And something told me I wouldn’t succeed in that.
Liam’s POV
“Are you really on Twitter again?” Danielle giggled. I smiled over at her and nodded.
“Yeah babe, just going through mentions and what not.” I said and turned my attention back to the computer.
“Come on LiLi, this is the last time we get to spend together until you leave for tour. We won’t see each other for months.” She whined. God, I hated when she did that. I turned around and lightly kissed her forehead.
“I know. I’ll be done in a minute.” I told her and she hung her head in defeat. I started to go through my DM’s until one caught my eye. Maybe it was just the length of it. I know some fan girls could put a lot of obsessing into one message, but I still wanted to see what it had to say.

I felt sympathy swell inside of me. She lost her best mate. That has to be extremely hard. I didn’t even care if she said that she had hated me. Everyone’s allowed to have their own opinion.
“What’s wrong Liam?” Dani asked and I turned to face her, realizing I had kind of just been sitting there staring into space for a few minutes.
“Uh…” I said debating on whether or not I should show her the message. Not that it mattered, so I decided to show it to her. “Look at this. It’s sad.” I told her. She leaned over my shoulder and read the message. She crinkled her nose.
“Probably just looking for sympathy.” She muttered and looked away from the screen. “She said she hated you. Don’t you think that’s rude?”
“She says she isn’t though. And no I don’t. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.” I pointed out. She rolled her eyes at me.
“Doesn’t mean anything babe. You know those fangirls. She probably just made this up.” She said and waved dismissively. I felt annoyance bubble in my stomach.
“You don’t make something like this up.” I grumbled and clicked on the girl Alex’s name. I wanted to see where she was from and what not. Her profile picture didn’t give much away about her, other than she was a brunette with a cute smile. There was a girl next to her in the picture and the words ‘Rest in Peace’ had been written under the other girl’s face. I assumed that was her friend. Dani looked and saw I had gone to the girl’s profile and she scoffed and walked away, crossing her arms. I loved her, but sometimes she really irritated me.
Most of the tweets on Alex’s page were about her friend. I felt bad. I can’t imagine what I would do if something happened to one of the lads or one of my other mates from back home. It scared me to be honest.
“Liam!” Dani groaned loudly. I sighed with frustration and quickly scribbled down the girls name before shutting off the computer and spending the rest of the day with my impatient girlfriend.
Okay so this is a new story i started last week. I have up to chapter two finished. Until I finish Mistakes, I'm not going to update this regularly, I'm just putting it out there so you can all get used to it and get into it. I'll write this whenever I get the time so lemme know what you all think!!! I hope you all like it. It is another Liam fanfic... idk why... i dreamt it that way... okay dont ask.
