"Please?? 😢"
She didn't stop pestering me the whole day, begging me to see the prince. It's been 2 days since the prince stopped giving her an hour visits for a while. Taehyung is down with a fever and flu. Until now, he's still feverish. He didn't want to transmit his fever to any of his mistresses, specially to Charlie. But this persistent newbie wanted to take care of him so bad that I had to follow her around last night while bringing a bowl of crab and egg soup as she declared that she will be bringing the soup to the prince, herself no matter what. I needed to guard her until I persuaded her to leave it to the servants and on top of that, she's not allowed to enter the prince's quarters.
But tonight, she wouldn't stop following me while she carry her new tata with her. I held my neck in stress as I stared down into her small face. I bit my lower lip and checked on the time. I am about to assist the prince in taking his prescribed meds in an hour. I guess it won't be that bad to sneak her inside while he's asleep.
"Okay. But just a quick look at him and you need to go after that. The nurses are gone by now as well as the butlers. So...we can easily get in.
She smiled at me.
"I'll behave I promise.😢"
Okay...
I led her at the back part where the pool was located...and silently got in. Thank God the rest of the ladies were out for some trip as ordered by the prince himself to avoid them from disturbing him. However...one lady was left behind. Like what my father, Taehyung's grandfather, his 1st majesty and I secretly resolved, we will keep the concealed Korean defector mistress, behind the palace walls. She wasn't sad at all and I think she felt more comfortable without having the rest of her contenders around.
"Relax,"
"W-wow!..."
"Shhh..."
I looked back at the tiny lady whose tiny hand gripping my shirt from behind as she followed me. Her already huge eyes turned bigger at everything around her.
"You've seen this part before right? Why are you still surprised?"
I chuckled;
"It's just that...the lights are beautiful and the place is more enchanting at night..."
I shook my head and smiled.
Until we reached the prince's room. On his bed under his thick blanket.
Charlie tilted her head as she couldn't see the prince's face. I pressed my index finger over my lips, telling her to avoid making a noise. She obediently nodded and sat on the carpeted floor, on the side of the bed where the prince's face was probably facing, concealed by the blanket. Charlie mouthed;
"Can he even breathe?"
She made a choking reaction which instantly made me snigger, the action made me regret it as the prince moved. Charlie wasn't able to move away from her spot quickly when the prince's head popped out from his blanket.

I was about to move away when...
It was too late.
I wryly smiled at him and waved my hand...took Tata's small hand and made him wave at him too...
"H-hi, I just want to make sure you're doing okay..."
Yoongi made a feaked out face while the prince just eyed me. He held out his arm at Yoongi's direction, seemed like asking for something.
Yoongi quickly gave him a digital thermometer and placed it in his mouth, after a while, returned it to Yoongi without even stripping off his eyes from me.
"You're getting better, your highness..."
I smiled. His temperature must be normal now...when I looked back at him.
He didn't say anything, stayed under his blanket, just eyeing me;
I did the same...until he had spoken in his hoarse voice.
"Is it safe to touch this stubborn newbie now?"
I saw confusion ran across Yoongi's face.
"Clarify your highness. Like what kind of 'touch'."
I instantly blushed at Yoongi's question and look away.
The prince panicked a little and glanced at Yoongi in disbelief.
"Like this!...what are you saying!"
He reached out his hand and held my face.
Yoongi foolishly smiled at him and nodded. He's obviously enjoying the prince's tensed reaction.
"What the FU-"
"Language, your highness."
"FUDGE!"
The prince exclaimed in his fading voice, finally pulled out from his fluffy blanket.
"And you!..."
He pointed at me.
He was about to say something when I sadly eyed him. 😢
He sighed and shook his head in surrender.
"I'm hungry. Let someone prepare something. Here."
Eating? here?
"B-but your highness, no one is allowed to eat in their quarters."

I can't believe I was boldly reprimanded by a mistress regarding a rule I specifically settled for them.
"E-excuse me??"
I said and sat on the side of my bed while she looked up at me. She was seated on the floor.
"It's the rule isn't it"
My jaw dropped in disbelief.
"Last time I checked, I'm the prince here and you're just a mistress...am I wrong now?!"
I protested which worsen my aggravation as I noted Yoongi with a suppressed smile.
"You dare talk about rules when you stepped inside my territory?!"
At that part Yoongi's face turned serious...he grunted and walked out.
Her smile faded and she gently reached for my hand.
"I just want to make sure you're doing okay. ☺"
She slowly stood then and bowed.
"I'm going now your highness. I'll gladly take the punishment for invading your territory. Please eat more so you can finally get well soon."
Fuck. My heart.
I pulled her,snaked my hand on her nape and covered her mouth with my other one as I kissed the back of my hand. Wide eyed, she stared right into my eyes as my huge hand fenced our lips. Slowly, let go of her. I put on a white mask.
Shocked. She gripped Tata closer to her arms.
"Your highness...what was that?..."
I chuckled.
"A kiss what else?!"
"Your highness...you kiss with your hand in between??..."
I almost fainted at her complaint.
I rolled my eyes.
"I can't naturally kiss you yet because I'm still a little sick!"
She slowly nodded her head as she understood my protective gesture.
"Okay." 😊
I walked over to a single couch and beckoned her to sit on the armrest of the couch...
"Come here."

I sat on the armrest close to him. He snaked his arm around where I sat while looking up at me. He didn't say that much except for holding, caressing my face and gently pinching my cheeks...rubbing my back...just looking.
Until his food is ready.
"Charlie,"
"Yes your highness?"
"Do you want to stay here with me, in my quarters?"
