An year passed, it's been an year in your absence, life is fine, if been asked;

Nothing much has been changed; or at least we don't notice,

But whenever we look back, the fragments of past wells up the dry eyes,

That frame in your room, we meet daily, trying to believe and smile, you're around,

The reality is we miss you; even you're alive in our heart but that ever smiling face;

The calm assurance that only you used to give, your words, still rings in my mind,

We weep silently, recalling all those years, comparing this year,

We are lonely, yes, our best person has gone, Our Daadu has left!

Leaving his Beta no. 1 and 2 alone!

One year without you indeed changed a lot!

Can we travel back in time and hug you just like before? Just for once, even if it's last!

SIR GERARD'S POV

Trust:

It may take you to cliff, if put on self.

It may bury you deep, if failed by others,

It may come up to your biggest support,

Or you may die savagely by the poison it can become!

The wide space I find starting to suffocate me as I was walk further, a wish man, I heard had said, it's your mind that decides, pain and pleasure, comfort and dread. The place or perhaps people have nothing to bring change in one's sullen and sulking mind.

"Seems like something is bothering Sir Gerard." I let out a sigh at the comment made, the person then made his presence made by moving from behind to come in front.

Raymond, I found smirking before he bowed down taking a seat on the adjacent sofa set. Indeed, the supreme powers hold the surprise element to superiors, when one is not paying much attention.

"Allow me to assume, it is related to the new arrival of noble Guardian family." He thrive to lighten the sulking mood of mine, intentionally riling me up.

"I see the news spreads like fire, even if try to keep it classified."

"What can hide from a Guardian, definitely you can't expect me to stay unknown by the fiasco Majesty made for the Royal Luna, who was acclaimed as the mate of Royal Guardian descendant."

The tone of his was calm, calm breeze of Antarctic which can pierce the frozen icebergs.

"Do we need to state the facts that it was an act?"

"But we need to find out reasons why Guardian took such a step. It might come up as a sin in our law, if he doesn't explain his act."

"Shall I take it as our Mighty Guardian Raymond hasn't come to a solid reasoning behind my actions? That's a shame, considering your intellect and sharp intelligence; I was assured you'll save me from the trail of Guardian Warner."

The thick layer of tension is busted by a distinct confidence voice. We turn our head just to witness, Ace making his way toward us, his bright facial features glowing as his signature smile he flaunting on his lips.

"Such a lovely surprise, Ace!" Raymond greeted him, as he stands to shake hand with him after he pays his regards to us with a bow.

"Indeed, it is. For me too, considering finding you here, Guardian Quinn, if I'm allowed to speak my heart, I wasn't expecting you at Kingdom." I mentally smirked along with Ace's smirk, bright and tactfully taunting Raymond in his way.

"He has got such a talented tongue," Raymond cast a glance my ay speaking before turning back to Ace he continued, "Neither did I expected you to be here at Kingdom, since you try very hard to keep your distance from your Grandfather, am I right?" not only Ace, but I find my shoulders going rigid, for once Raymond returned the favor of Ace's taunt.

"Trust me I'm intended to keep it the same way."

"You think, it's possible, since now you've proclaimed you've find your mate."

A soft chuckle escaped Ace's lips before he gestured Raymond to sit, himself taking a seat in front of us, "That gives me an absolute reason to keep my distance from Kingdom and His Majesty."

Though, they both shared a chuckle, I find it nothing to worth laugh for.

"You've grown up to such a charming man."

"And I see age have started to appear on your face." Ace's words directed toward me on Raymond's compliment.

"Won't it be, when his grandson is all grown and ready to take his place?"

An instant smile crawls over my lips, feeling sheer pride busting inside to see him in front of me.

"Is it Grandpa? Ah! It's such a bliss to hear this from you." Ace chuckles, for anyone it seems a laughter of humor, but I read the meaning deep beneath.

The powerful aura penetrated the misty air, making its presence known before the person, my retorts I let pass as we all shot on our feet, Majesty made his entrance, the painting beside the door rattled at the sharp thud of wooden door. Since the day McCoy tried to advance on Niera, the supreme Aura around Majesty is surfacing, it's not only affecting him, but beside him, all of us are affected.

It cuts off the elements from us, weakening us. I find myself unable to understand, even being aware of the act; he is not removing the shield. I bring myself to resolve, I'll have to discuss this with him. A pair of eye, I sensed and without averting my eye, I blink my eyes to convey my message.

His powers are surfacing, it affects to whose, around him adversely. He never let it happen, then why now at this moment.

"Please accept our greetings, Alpha." Ace announce, the next moment the surroundings shrills at the enraged growl.

Its surprising Majesty's rage spoke but there were restraints also, when he can kill for someone putting their filthy hands on his mate, he is quite eccentrically saving him from his primal rage.

"Ace...I may be considerate now, I won't be always." My gaze shifted from the lost space to Majesty's who stood snarling at Ace, who seems interested in playing with hell fire.

"If I may suggest, can we sit civil and discuss." Raymond piped in, a soft grunt from Ace caught my attention, he stood sending glares at Majesty. I didn't avert my eyes from him as Black and Dexter made their way, closing the door shut behind them.

"I respect your words, Guardian Quinn but you can't expect him to act civil when he is insecure someone will snatch away his mate." Ace declared, smugly. Surely it was to rile up Majesty, but he surprised us all when he took a seat of his own, his smirk seems brighter than Ace's.

"You can bring me to anger Ace, for her I'll go barbaric and possessive, just to keep her safe and alive, I'll bring hell and heaven together. But insecure, you or anyone might take her," a low chuckle lefty his mouth, "My mate will never leave my side, may hell or storm, she'll be my side. Not because I trust the bond between us, I know my mate; I trust her, and us."

"So much confidence on self?"

"On my woman."

It was his absolute pride spoke, it seeps through the bond we share, an instant relaxation knocks at our consciousness soothing the tense stiffness of our sane mind. It wasn't just his belief and pride of his mate but also for the woman who'll take step on throne and for the people, Majesty has cherished.

A shadow of smile crawl on Ace's face, the one which we know was genuine, the link connects us, he felt the same. There along with him, we indulge ourselves to relish the moment, smiling with pride and joy of our Majesty.

"Very well then. Your praises for your Luna Queen aren't quite shallow Dexter. She seems special as you've described her. She surely made this stone feel."

'She surely is the breeze of change.' He whispers through the link.

"Haven't you experienced this yourself Ace, her intervention stopped you both yesterday. It was her only."

Ace let out a sigh, looking away, surely he could retort but he chose to stay quiet, this surely come out unexpected for me.

"Anyways, shall we come up to the matter for which we are present here." He muttered looking back, Raymond shifted to his seat finding a comfortable position, Majesty exhaled aloud.

It was the sense of calm penetrating the tension of moment, my gaze instantly finds Black who seems working on the atmosphere. Although the effect was namesake, given to the surging powers of Majesty, yet I find myself appreciating his efforts.

"Please Ace give us your perspective over the matter." Raymond initiates, looking intently at Ace, I steal a glance at Majesty, noting his calm composure.

"Yes Ace, I don't understand, why did you called Bamb—Luna Niera as your Mate? When you already know who she is." Dexter probes taking a step forward and stand beside my sofa.

"Wasn't it to save her from Lamia, she was enraged over her and about to attack—"

"And you think Majesty would've let that happen, he doesn't need a blink." Raymond injects breaking off Black's words.

"He can't use his power in front of her, since she is still unaware about the—everything?" Black brings himself to shrug not knowing how to explain better.

I let out a deep breath, turning my eyes over the open shelf of files and folders, resting the same as I left it yesterday before rushing to the Golden Hall, and then to WerePire, my eyes falling on the file covers, even small but a bright and outlasting, A V engraved there. The powers might not been revealed to her, she has her own reasoning and knowledge of assumptions directing her each new day.

"Even when the revelation hasn't made, Majesty is absolute capable to shred Lamia without using his finger. It wasn't Lamia for whom Ace raise himself to commit a sin."

Absolute silence grew around, almost biting to us as people gawk at me at my announcement apart from some, who have the knowledge or fair idea.

"Wasn't it?"

Black brings himself to ask, his mental confusion affects the temperature, as it decreases, for us it may not affect yet surely it isn't unnoticed by us.

My eyes find Ace who looks away, taking his time, telling people burn into anticipation of his response.

"Majesty, Guardian!" Revin along with Delta Fergal bowed in submission before us.

"Is my mate alone?" Majesty asked, though his tone seems simply inquiring, they weren't fools to ignore underlying peril.

"She is with Miss. Dovin, Majesty." Fergal answered unblinking. His demeanor exudes his strong personality and sincerity for his King. Majesty nods and looks back to the center table with concentration.

Why he seems so calm?

"What exactly happened then? Majesty must have ripped her throat if she would have dared to think about harming Queen."

"Lamia didn't. She was enraged but Mighty Majesty's powers were protecting the Queen." Ace answered Dexter's exasperated query.

"Then how Niera went unconscious? She seems like she lost her energy, pale and unconscious."

"Could it be the aftereffect of McCoy's brain trap?" Black asked a little conscious.

"It's technically possible but his powers he retrieved once he realized who she is really."

"Maybe because she is human?"

"She is but her entire self is protected, it must have left her with headache but not such severe condition." Dexter answered him.

"Could it be," Dexter's voice rose in his assumption, "Ace's announcing her as his mate." Hearing this a deadly snarl echoed in air, Dexter gulps and took a step back and bowed in pure submission.

"Niera said she felt something, change in air that was choking her and sudden heaviness and dizziness." Revin spoke, Fergal nodded beside him.

I find myself musing deep over Revin's revelation. These phenomenons are not easy changes for any human to experience. The arguments seem implausible to even consider. But then how can it be?

Another point of consideration is if she is the only one to experience such changes or it was felt by others too.

As to seek answers of my doubts, my gaze snap at Majesty's direction drifting between him then at Ace's way, who sat quiet receiving knowledge and facts while others went far distances trying to comprehend the situation.

A sigh escaped my lips, as I sink my back to the backrest of sofa, but soon shoot up not being able to find the comfort my old back needs.

My movement brought people to stillness, their eyes snap at my way. The questions in their eyes I read and ignored tactfully, allowing only the crucial question to float at the surface.

If Ace can't bring himself to explain his actions, the situation will worse, not only now but in future. Lamia is far from my concern now; the significant point of worry is the behavior of Majesty which has link with Ace.

An Alpha can never share, killing is acceptable if it's for their mate, here massacre would be genuine, here, Majesty is quiet, civil with him. Something is bothering him, what, it must be known and soon.

"Ace!" I broke the thin sheet of tranquility, along with his, all other eyes found mine as he shot on his feet to face me.

"Now as a Guardian, I'm asking you, what was the reason you had to take such step? Pronouncing your Queen, your mate in front of a Vampire Representative, you have a reason behind your acts. Explain yourself."

The tone of Knight had him bowed along with others; Majesty gaze was transfixed on mine. I could read questions there, a Knight's powers which I had buried inside, had to come up now, for my Queen.

"Majesty, I apologize to not explain my acts before. Guardian Warner, I may now explain myself if the King allows."

"I did this to save our future Luna Queen." Frown had people's forehead squeezed, baffled all stood stiff awaiting him to continue.

"From?"

"Lamia." Dexter open his mouth to speak but a flint gaze from me shut him, I snap my gaze to Ace who stood stiff, looking down.

"How would it be? Ace, Majesty has her protected. His powers created a shield between them." Raymond explained before something flashed in his eyes. My mind too figured out a clue, since the true was about to reveal and it should be by him, I let him speak.

"Alicia, her shield came in between." Majesty declared before Ace could. My breath left in rush as I look to my Majesty.

"You could feel her?" I cast my query toward Ace who nods, suddenly resigned grim.

"Yes Grandpa, I could sense it whereas our Majesty was torn between it and his mate."

But why would Princess Alicia stop him?

"Lamia was about to kill her, I had to intervene." Ace continued, looking at Majesty.

"Does it affect you?"

"Yes, it did but also it healed me. But not you, right?" Ace asked, Majesty looks torn before he composed himself.

"Why does she stop him always?" Dexter mumbles to self.

"Perhaps we know the answer but we fear to pronounce it." Raymond states, I turn my gaze to the wide open balcony door, the day suddenly turned grim and dull to my eyes.

"These two powers are equal to each other; their collision will bring only destruction to our world. Gideon you must do what's right to save your people and most of all, your mate."

"Lamia's departure, keep that mind, Gerard." Majesty stated, I turn for him to nod and found his gaze on Ace.

"She is mine."

Neither it was his insecurity, nor any threat, from what we perceive from his eyes; Majesty made a vow, he'll keep her protected, at any cost from all harms.

Majesty made his way out, Raymond nodded at my way before following him along with Revin and Delta.

My gaze fall on Ace before I chose this time right.

"Ace!" his ascending steps halted as he turn to face me, his eyes seeking the reason behind my call. I found Majesty's gaze to my way, he gave a curt nod before moving ahead.

I let out a sigh, turning to him, "I'm glad to see you here."

Ace hide his scoff into his smile, the act didn't go unnoticed from me, although, he intended me to notice it.

"I wish I could say same. But seems like Kingdom has you occupied with your duties. Though I can't complain, can I?"

He finds my gaze, looking expectant, I shake my head softly.

"Ah!" he flaunts his smile, a well played genuine one.

"You can always come to this old man."

"One can hope for this old man's visit, may be a surprise." He retorts softly, though he said in pure intentions but they stung.

"Alone seems nice but it bites."

"Then why do you choose it. You can always come back to—"

"Come to—Where? Where? To Kingdom," another dry chuckle rings before his eyes harden.

"When I said alone, you haven't comprehended the meaning, Guardian Warner."

"The Kingdom, few familiar faces can't remove loneliness. It needs warmth, it needs compassion, it needs security."

Each of his word stung, like poisonous dagger to my chest, yet I chose to stand enveloping impassiveness as my cloak.

The storm which can't break the castle, but its own weakness does demolish it.

A Guardian I have been consider to be the strongest support of my Kingdom and Majesty, nothing that stood against my resolves, I find myself breaking inside. My own blood, my own child holds the power to bleed me.

"Your Kingdom, these lavishing walls and hollow interiors and that heartless King can never—"

"Rage can never bring peace, anger will never offer solace." A soft intervention made us turn, there on threshold Niera stood, her presence surprised me, but her firm tone yet soft face had something eccentric.

"Your disappointments can be resolve but letting anger take command forgetting manners, it may bring chaos but you won't reach anywhere."

She walks inside speaking turning to Ace, crossing her arms over her chest, offering me her smile.

Surely her presence and words had their impact, a smirk I found forming on Ace's face. I caught his glance toward mine which Niera couldn't with our speed.

'Ah! She is very adherently following her mate in terms of teaching me respect.'

"You are—"

"Someone who should intervene before you pull yourself to menacing situation."

"Ah! Such a sharp—"

"Bambi, I'm sure you both aren't officially met." Dexter made an attempt to intervene, Niera's hard eyes turn to Dexter, instantly smiling at him.

"Niera!"

"My Grandson, Ace."

A gasp escaped her lips, her wide eyes drifts between Ace and I, before settling to him, a smirk forms its way to Ace monitoring her reactions and her flushed cheeks.

"Your Grandson?" she squeals incredulously.

"Niera, it's finally a pleasure to see the person herself. It's a pleasure to finally see you. Ace Warner." Ace extends his hand for her but Niera stood in trance looking at him with a slight frown.

"Grandson of Sir Gerard Warner." His words now seem snap her out of trance as she gives her hand in his.

"Why did you say finally seeing me? Do you know me?"

"Yes, I do. We have talked, you precisely, on call." Confusion clouded her mind which her eyes declare, I find myself smiling before reaching her.

"Baba?!" she squeals and Ace groan, Dexter along with I chuckle at his groaning annoyed face.

"So you're Baba?" her eyes finds me as she speaks. Nodding I answered her.

"Your Grandchild." Her mumble reaches me. Of course she would be confused, for her my grandson is a small child in the frame not a grown up man.

"I wished to meet you and thank you personally." Ace's words grab my attention so does hers'.

"Why?"

Instead of answering her, Ace turns to me.

"Ah! She brought me here." He announces, my eyes fall on him then at Niera who looks conscious all of a sudden.

I allow myself to be taken aback by this revelation.

Niera seems nervous fidgeting with her feet stealing her gaze, I find Dexter who stood smiling witnessing her fidgeting, assuring her through his eyes.

"Dexter!" he straightens at my call before speaking.

"Yes Sir Gerard, Bambi asked me about him, saying you can't take leave but you miss him terribly, she asked if we can bring him here when you can't."

My heart warms, reverence seep into my chest, only a few days of acquaintance, the girl is so much thoughtful and warm for everyone around her.

"Ah! I feel jealous!" Ace declared, his intentions were to avert Niera from her conscious nervousness, and he succeeded when she gape at him openly.

She chuckle softly shaking her head, resulting us all smile with her.

"I hope you'll stay for longer, for him."

"I'll try." Her smile flattens at his words as she nods looking away.

"I'll take my leave." Ace stated as he went off with a bow.

I stood quiet, awaiting to hear Niera, from her eyes I knew she is tensed and wants to speak. Although, I know what's in her mind, I want her to say and feel relieved at her mind.

"I'm sorry Sir Gerard, if I said something wrong. But I couldn't see him misbehaving with you like this." my lips instantly curve into a smile. This fragile girl surely brings the misty rain of brightness along with her, her features makes us nothing but protect her innocence and kind soul with our all might.

And I'll, as long as Holy Spirits allow me to protect the Throne, I'll serve the Majesties.

Though, the bond between mates is most pious ad strong, I can understand the rage and distress in Majesty, his constant fight with self and world, his mate is his lifeline, his soul, his protectiveness and actions regarding her protection are plausible and cogent and her carefree and kind nature which however she avoids brings her to peril, one can't even comprehend the constant worry he keeps inside with the fight with self to give her time and choice and not claim her against her will as his only, fire and ice both inflicts together does nothing but harm worse and that he bears just for her.

"Are you angry?" my trail of thoughts breaks at her nervous mumble; I give her my smile shaking my head.

"Why would I be, child? You did nothing wrong." Her gaze falls down to the floor, a little dullness gleams on her cheek.

"Because I went ahead and asked Dr. Baron about your personal life and requested to call Ba—Mr. Ace here?"

"I'm glad you went with it, I'm glad you bring Ace here."

The relief washed of her face, removing the dull traces of worry, her heartwarming smile was our reward when she blushes.

"I'm glad to see you glad."

"Niera, dear, shouldn't you be resting. After yesterday's event, didn't Dexter advise rest for you?" It was a delight to see a glowing tint on her cheeks as embarrassed she bit her lip.

"Yes, he did. I just can't—I was going back." She blinks rushing when my raise brow questions her.

"Ah! That's nice. Majesty is in his cabin, can you help Dexter with his wounds. He might not cooperate with him but you can help."

"Make him civil." Her talented lips mumble as she talks herself, a sudden chuckle escaped Dexter, I had to conceal mine.

"Sure I'll." She mumbles turning crimson.

With a nod Dexter took her with him, "Child!" they turn on my call.

"Thank you." Neither I explained neither she asked, she tilted her head with smile accepting my words and head out.

She left leaving soft warmth around me; indeed this fragile girl is Queen of hearts!

*~*~*

NIERA'S POV

The water droplets glow against the golden lights before falling off the height, the green shines up at me, gratefully dancing at water shower against it.

My lips automatically curve into a bright smile as I play along, pouring water on them again. A heal one can get for chaotic mind and depressed distress self is nature. It'll bring you to find the peace deep buried inside you which is lost somewhere in your messy hectic life.

I move with the pipe washing off the dirt from green leaves. The tranquility of morning seeps into my chest, as I drift back to thoughts trailing behind me since a long time.

Ace!

He is Sir Gerard's grandchild, for whom he craves so much, I have seen the loneliness and sadness in his eyes as he mention him, I thought he is a small child for whose worry is eating him along with Kingdom's responsibility. But his Baba is a grown man, why would there be problems in traveling if one wishes to meet other. But then, his outraged behavior and disappointment, surely there is something. I exhale softly moving along the pipe, to the lined up pots.

I can't find myself to be at peace with thought why would he call me Mate. Since the meaning and significance of the words made sense to me, I know how pious and cherish it is by people here.

Why would someone associate such high importance word with some stranger?

I wished to ask this to him but at first our heated encounter then his interaction.

If it wasn't anything, then him, the wounds which had Gideon and I soaked—drenched in his blood, his state was almost on the verge of dying but he seems absolute fine. In just one night, those deadly wounds are all healed. How is that possible?

If I had been told, I might have believed but I have seen it with my eyes, the enraged barbaric battle of these two, Gideon's anger and it isn't something easy to be recover from. Neither possible. I've seen those wounds, then how they can heal, how a person can be walking on his feet just after his fight.

Like Gideon?

I flinch when cold water splashed on me, drenching my pajamas from knee, I huff before throwing the pipe and walking back to tap, turning off the supply. My eyes land on the lawn chairs, they seem the perfect place to dry my clothes, soaking sunlight, I sat sinking deeper into the cold chair.

But the calmness wasn't a companion for long; my eyes snap to a fading noise before widening as something significant caught, I shot up on my feet absolutely perplexed as the figure shut the car door and turn to main entrance.

Ace Warner!

**Burak Deniz as Ace Warner**

What's he doing here?

I ponder at the thought as I step down from the steps to meet him at the grounds of lawn, where he stop abruptly, his features are charming, I notice as I walked to him, conscious and nervous at the thought to meet him all the pondering, wandering about him a while ago crash to my mind as I come to stand in front of him.

"Mr. Warner?"

"Can I step in?" he murmurs, making me frown as I nodded before starting to turn.

Maybe he wants to come in!

"Ah! It's fine here." I almost shrug at his abrupt call, almost.

"Um! Hi!" I murmured as he approached, coming closer. His eyes squinting small in light, as he tried to save his vision.

"Hello" he spoke, a charming smile making his features standout and alluring.

"We are yet to acquaintance properly. You might want explanations." He initiates, I chew on my inner lip letting out a sigh. I nodded as I begun. My curious part appreciates his nature and will to clarify matters.

"Why did you call me mate, in Gideon's office?" I asked staring at the fallen light from the sky in daylight, everything looked so brightened in shining day.

"I see you don't like that endearment." He stated, noting my straightforward manner.

"Not really." I confessed.

He just smiled before taking a step closer.

"May I ask why?"

"I don't know, I just—" I shrugged in the absence of suitable words.

"It sounds like soul mates, right?" his words reacted; I raised my gaze to him in surprise.

"It was." He confessed.

"Let's set it clear Miss. William. I did what I needed to do at that moment. I'm sure you're aware of the fact, how cunning and exploiting the woman, Lamia can be. She is dangerous." I nodded at his explanation, polished and cultured, his words had an impact or it was his tone.

"Soul mates: The word holds a greater meaning in our world. The most pious and respected bond we have, a blessing from god. We respect it, and no dares to cross it." He explained further while I itched to know what specifically connecting his explanations to his announcement that day.

"How does your calling me your – mate makes any connection with it?" I asked softly, in response Mr. Ace smiled, a cocky charming smile.

I noticed some of his features resembling his grandfather's, they rule on similar features which make anyone follow them. His looks very much like his handsome old man, just the maturity suits him, while Ace enjoys what attraction works in his favor.

"I announced you my mate, which by the superior laws of our land makes you my other half. Niera, now Lamia will think twice before thinking of placing harm to you."

So it was to save me?

"You called me your mate—"

"So she scurries off your way. Her ways to deal with hum—people are," he stopped averting his eyes.

"I'm not yo—urs." My head was shaking frantically, being called his, seems so wrong, so unfair on my part. Deep down I knew, the world from where I came doesn't believe it but when I came to know of the concept of this Soul Mate, his mate, the concept spread nothing but dread to my complete self. I felt removing the traces of bitterness from my tongue whenever I say it.

His orbs danced in mirth, not answering, he thrust his hands in his vest pocket amused at my troubled state.

"Does it feel wrong?" he asked after a complete minute of my struggle and agony.

I nodded looking away, the sunny day, and I found cold sweeping inside my body, removing the traces of warmth. I felt cold and burning at the same time.

"Then believe it, it's wrong." My eyes found his, his dimples flaunting on his cheeks. Dark eyes held so much amazement in them, and that all knowing smile, he inherited from his grandfather.

"Huh?"

"Believe what your heart says, Fairy." He provided smugly.

"Fairy?"

"You look like one."

Ace slit the thickness settling in my chest with his words, I felt relief, not complete but I knew my heart never accepted this, I was not sure and I won't.

I felt at ease, with his smile, I nodded, easing off the burden, I was holding deep inside.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Warner." I forwarded my hand in front of me. A charming smile set on his face, as he remove his hand from vest pocket and thrusting into mine.

"Ace please. Same here, Miss William."

"Niera." We shared a moment of smile, his charming smile and features, settled as an charming and easy going personality but I knew he is a Warner, they know more than they show, hold more power than they announce.

"Please come in. How about tea?"

"Yes please." He smiles as we walked to the white lawn chairs, I sat a while ago.

"Please have a seat, I'll bring tea." I announce before rushing to main door then to kitchen.

Ace's words however I try have brought me to a state of relief. I can't express it; neither can I share it with anyone but, hearing the declaration and explanations of his act and reason behind has put off the weight over my chest.

I let out a sigh, the aroma of ginger and cardamom rules around kitchen.

Lamia!

She is someone for whom he did this?

Who exactly is this Lamia and what does she has that all her outlaw acts are overlooked.

*~*~*

"So you have a mate?" I asked taking a sip from my cup, the tranquil quietness between us seems nice but awkward at the same time.

Having a guest and mute mouth sitting around doesn't come into good manners. I bit down my lip realizing I went too personal to break discomfiture.

"Yes." Ace answered, his tone doesn't seem offended, he sounds quite at ease. However his response brought out boldness in me as I jump further, deeper in curiosity.

"And you have found her."

"No, not exactly." He said looking at me intently. His intense gaze put me at unease but I feign it with laugh. Nervous laugh.

"Oh please! She'll be way different from me."

"How you're so sure? And why it can't be someone like you? Or you?"

I shrugged not having a proper answer.

"Hm! Of course you have your eyes set for the most charming majestic man of this kingdom." He stated with supreme confidence.

All I could do was squint at him to showcase my bafflement.

"The King, of course!" He provided to my muddled state, taking the cup to his confident smirking mouth.

Cheeks flamed; turned to a tinted shade as eyes found the scenery beside him more attractive than his face before I shook my head with great difficulty.

"The sanity in you is trying to force you with your bounds whereas the heart is willing to accept the desire; the eyes somehow told me the truth." He stated looking straight into my eyes intently.

I snatched my gaze from the scenery casting them down to the floor beneath us.

"Some desires however look tempting to approach, aren't attainable."

"Not for all, Niera. Some I agree, have no right to cradle a desire which is unattainable, but that's their fate."

"Some overlook what they already have just believing the myth that they follow others." He leans up from his comfortable position to place the cup and saucer at the table. I followed his move with my eyes.

"A fair advice from my side Niera, never see yourself as one of them, because it'll be a betrayal with your destiny. You're different and you're proving it. When you're different then how unattainable for them can be same for you." Ace shot up on his feet, the grace one can catch in his moves, surely a Royal Guardian Descendant!

"Perhaps try to raise your palm for what you desire; you'll see miracle in your embrace." He stated tugging his hands in his suit pockets.

As Grandfather as Grandson!

I couldn't help but smile at the well proven thought.

"But I must say your choice is way too plain and somewhat boring." I narrowed my gaze at him before something flashed in his eyes.

Oh dear god!

He chuckled in success while I turned pink before joining him.

But our laughter faded when I found Mr. Valentine making his way to us. His one hand tugged in his pant pocket, an arrogant impassive look and that commanding strides. We stayed quiet, until he reached us.

"I'd like to take your leave, Niera." Ace announced, before sparing a glance at Gideon's way.

"Take care." He nodded my way and turned to leave. My gaze averted, finding Gideon beside me, a sudden rush of blood found my face, I felt warmth, his face glowed in sunlight, golden glow of sun-rays resembled like halo at my Gorgeous Saviour. A ghost of smile completed his look; my own smile came uninvited in his presence.

"Mr. Warner?" I cast a glance at him.

He turned to glance back at me.

"My choice is not plain and boring." I smirked.

"See clearly woman it is. But I'm glad you accepted it's your choice." He winked before striding out of the place in his confidence.

I shook my head at his retreating figure before facing Mr. My Choice and his furious eyes and instantly my curved lips flattened.

Well what exactly happened to him?

"Good Morning!" I initiated.

*~*~*

Morning walks are always something new; they bring something new to you, even alone, you feel the companionship along.

I smile brightly as the thought as I walked through the silent road, the concrete seems brighter black after the rains, the trees swaying lamely, heavy with the rain droplets still residing seeking shelter.

Wrapping my arms around my torso I kept walking taking leisure steps, almost dragging through the wet road.

My mind was at peace, at calm but there was uneasiness in my chest. Oddly, I found it taking me to a storm that was brewing inside me.

After meeting Ace and clarifying the most annoying tumult growing settled to comfort, the whole day passed at home with Tiara once Jerry dropped her from Grammy's and went to office. I almost begged him and Gideon to take me with them but the stubborn king, who fortunately was present the whole chaos, and my almost adherent to bury my feet in lawn brother, just to keep me home. They straight away denied and left.

Gideon's visit after Ace was a surprise itself, he seems calm but the moment I call Ace regarding my not so revealing Choice, he went back to his hard Alpha King mode, it took me tea and fumbling smiles at him to finally cool him down, eventually the mighty King came back to normal. I didn't dare to initiate the matters of past days fearing his anger and vanishing smiles that comes as bliss to me so I let it.

I drew a deep breath; the scent of nature filled my nostrils putting me at ease. I pushed back that uneasiness, that storm locked inside as I took steps further, roaming my gaze through the quiet serenity, my ears peeping at the soft calls of cuckoo.

Frowning I paid more attention, in all these days, I have been here, never the cuckoo spread its melody through the surroundings.

The chirping of the birds were there to greet me in the morning but never had I found the privilege to feel the peace in the melody of Cuckoo. An involuntarily smile graced my lips as I listened to it intently.

Coming from a distance, faint whispers like a melody, alluring reaching my ears soothing the uneasiness inside me.

Taking the support of nearby tree, I halted, leaning again, I allowed myself to rest against the old ancient tree, listening to the melodious calls of Cuckoo.

Then, it started fading, like the bird was now fed up singing to the surrounding, seeking somewhere else to glorify with its presence and melody.

Shaking my head, I left the tree support and walked ahead, smiling in gratitude for the lullaby she offered. Steps after steps, I walked only to catch the fading calls of the birds around, and halted when a familiar gate was greeting me in cold surroundings.

My smile until fading now turned into frown, before roaming my gaze around I found, nothing but fog lurking around in corner, it gave nothing but a feeling, the thick mist was waiting to devour me, seeking the moment when I fall in the trap, set exclusively for me.

With melody of the bird around, getting clear, distinct I tilted my head, to catch the clear view of insides.

Nothing but faint clouds of mist, allowing only that much to peep where nothing was visible.

I took a step ahead, then another as I stood in front of the iron rusted gate, my fingertips felt the shock, the cold metal surface provided when my almost cold fingertips touched the gate.

No efforts I had to pay, the gate was a little ajar, and remaining my little efforts opened. The creak resonated in the air, breaking the quietness of surroundings.

Gulping down the saliva, I walked inside, mist came back to haunt, encircling me, each step I was taking was measured, on the clay soil, I didn't wished to fall and kiss the mud at this hour.

As expected nothing and no one was there, my gaze wandered around leisurely drinking in the beauty, the serene tranquility was palpable, raindrops drenching me, as the trees swayed in their own rhythm, my smile crawled wide spreading across my lips, holding my arms wide, I let go of all the burdens I had, any pain in my heart, gloom and sufferings inflicted in me, the desires tantalizing me.

I left it all behind, letting go of something pure, and evoking just what heart breaths.

Life!

"The smile for the world can be deceptive, the one comes when in alone, surely comes from heart." I stilled at the words, sensing the presence around me, my eyes opened, as one droplet invaded, dropped straight in my eye, the water never harms but the force in right direction surely makes effect.

"Nature loves the heart that smiles." I turned at the next set of words, in the misty surroundings and itching eyes, I blinking to catch clarity.

My eyes widened slightly, the air suddenly felt lighter than the feather in air.

"That Innocent smile, that believes."

In the moist mud where your feet taste the taste of mud and dirt, the white stood proud, shining untouched and the face glowing, I stood stupefied and flabbergasted at the strikingly familiar face smiling down at me, pure and serene, kind and gentle, embracing the glow of life.

The aura or the instincts of mine, I moved forward before my head lowered, as I bowed. My mind bemused but heart obeyed.

The reason of my stay and accepting the deal of challenge of Gideon were the word of determination and encouragement seeped into me. I found a corner of solace, the warmth of mother and care of familiarity in the foreign land, I witnessed that day in one face, it was in front of me with the same smile.

"Rise my child." Her words were soft like silk but there was unavoidable warmth in her tone which made me warm from inside.

When the first time I met her, she gave me the courage to face what I was feeling coward of, my one decision took me to the ride of something now, I seek as the privilege to be witness.

I said yes for the deal, I stayed here, I met the majestic creature, I was being saved, I got the chance to met Jerry, a brother I would cherish always, Tiger, who got the deepest of my heart, my little bundle of joy. Such amazing prestigious people like the authority of A V Inc. And most importantly I could meet Gideon.

The biggest change in me came from him, his presence, his words and all of him make me feel different, and he evokes the difference in me.

All I could found was because of that one yes, I said to him. And it was all because of my tears which she wiped and gave me the strength my mummy would have given me.

"The smile gives me the satisfaction to see you happy, my child. Shall I believe that the decision you took was right. The courage you showed is taking you somewhere better." She asked, the smile of her was so calming, I felt light and relaxed.

My smile widened as I heard her.

With the same smile, I nodded, "Yes."

My grin had no bounds, no bounds of professionalism, no bounds of demeanor and decorum. I felt so light and free, it almost looked like my bounds crashed across, far away.

I heaved a sigh, fresh and pure air scented in earthy aroma made me pure! I felt it.

"I am seeing you after a long time, it feels good." I spoke out, words came from my heart.

Her smile grew on her cheeks, her pale skin glowing in misty day.

"I'm happy my child."

"Me too." I whispered back. She ushered me to the old wooden bench, I distinctly remember it's the same where we sat when we met first. If I call it the point of change, it won't be wrong.

We sat where I find my eyes trying to peek across the misty clouds, I find her gaze on me, it surprised me but I feel warm as I look back at her.

"The land of Kingdom Alicia has its magic, Child. I believe you have seen a fair share of eccentricity by now." She spoke softly, her gaze reached to the far corner; the creek had the soft sounds, waves crashing to other, like playing in pure harmony.

Magic! Enchantment! Eccentricity!

The words weaving all around me, but reaching to somewhere my heart agrees.

The smug face of my miracle drew in my mind, in figments behind, my Gorgeous Saviour was present. I shook my head, wanting to remove the image but it was there settled.

"Whatever you do, however you try, your soul is imprinted before your consent. It'll be your will, your desire but the decision of destiny has been taken."

My eyes squinted, before I huff a sigh.

Again the proverbs and puzzles!

"You are trying to deny something you have accepted long ago. My child, now shake your head or bang on a wall, it won't change." She smiled in pure humor while I tempted to pout.

"Met a miracle." I mumble looking down, the brown fireballs of my Miracle freshens.

"Yes, and that's a Miracle, isn't it?" she asked turning toward me completely.

I nodded enthusiastically.

"You too are a Miracle." She murmured looking straight into my eyes.

"Miracles, you must know happens, when one trust, my child. There is always another side of coin hidden, you have to face it." Her voice turned grim.

My hand found her warm one, soft like the silk and features, her skin sparked in natural glow.

"When I lost faith and trust on myself; in you, I found that strength to stand and face it. Now I see, it was hard but I crossed it, almost." She patted my cheek, lovingly.

Her gestures and loving gaze, reminds me of my mother, she is miles away from me, but her part always resides inside me.

"I had to come; you were to take your first step, it was essential to guide you."

I bit my lip, baffled at her set of words.

"You know about the Majestic Creature?" I asked out of the blue.

Her eyes twinkled with joy, as she nodded.

"Yes, of course. He is the King, Alpha King." I grinned, excitement bubbling in me, showing me positivity.

"This place seems like a fantasy, an enchanted world weaved in purity and grace of—"

"—Blessings." She provided when I feel at loss of appropriate word.

"Indeed, it is. But every beauty finds its grace after defeating dark, purity defies what impure can't ruin. Everywhere, the light roams, darkness is there to fight it."

My face crumbles in sheer bafflement, "I don't understand."

"You have seen the beauty, what will you do when a dark shade of this beauty come to you?" she asked, the softness in her tone never wavered but a firm question was placed for me.

"Will you trust the faces you have learnt to love until now? Will you trust your miracle, or turn away from the desire and destiny?" her tone soothing me to warmth but her words seems like prickles of reality to my skin.

Trusting my Miracle?

Yes, I trust him, I do!

I trust the people around me!

I trust my Gorgeous Saviour!

Why does this question arises, all of a sudden? The beauty has its other side, yes, but shouldn't one who loves belief and love regardless of all dark flaws.

I may be bemused and astonished by her question but my answers remains the same, I may see whatever, I won't seize my perception of people, this place, for Miracle. Regardless of what happens, I won't.

I had my answers, and the inquirer was waiting for it so putting my smile, I look at her hand into mine, before answering.

"I trust this, I trust him." I spoke with faith and confidence I held, my smile was the attestation, however her eyes weren't appreciative. She held a blank look, impassive giving nothing away as she heard me.

She waited for me to complete, for which I stayed quiet, before taking a deep breath, she spoke.

"Trust is a big word. You can't even imagine the impact it has." Her words firm so was her tone. The softness was there but the impact of her tone was something else.

"People often use this word, completely ignorant to the reach it holds. This word is said to be the synonym of life and an inseparable face of love." She spoke looking ahead to the dark dense woods around us, her gaze focused but lost in her explanation.

I sat utterly flabbergasted as she enunciated the meaning of trust.

Indeed, trust is much more than just a words, it's not just a word but with the dust of time and shallow knowledge of people regarding deep meaning, they have forget the real meaning of it, and the impact of it. One puts his life at stake behind this word, his entire being; this small word holds the power to remove the pain from heart. Trust! One not only says but conveys their absolute feelings of heart to other person.

The betrayal of this word is savage, it holds the power to break and shatter, it destroys when betrayed, it creates when fulfill the promise of hearts.

My trail of thoughts breaks at her hand, patting mine, I look up to her face, she perceives me, without hearing me, she read my entire thought trail.

"Trust is always tested, it'll put you to where you'll have to face the reality, face the truth. It'll be when you and yours faith will bring change."

"Child you must keep this trust, because when the reality attest and crash with weaved assumptions you hold, often this trust shakes." I almost wince when her hand left mine but she keeps it to my cheek, adoringly.

"Here child, you would just shake but your decision will break whatever is being built till now."

I find myself numb at her words; she adores me in her heart warming smile before standing on her feet, her white clothes defeating the misty clouds around us.

"Think wisely dear, keep a belief in your trust."

Saying this she turn to leave, I find a strong urge to run to her, keep her with me, ask what she meant but I sat numb, reciting what we conversed, letting her fade away in misty fog.

Trust will be tested!
