ASHLEY'S POV
"So you kicked him out of the band?" I was talking to Andy on the phone and he just told me this whole story about how Chris had missed Alex and that Andy kicked him out.
"Yeah,"
"You don't sound unhappy," I said frowning,
He chuckled, "Truth is, I never liked the asshole,"
"Well don't worry bro, I'll find you a guitar player,"
"I hope so Ash,"
"Okay bye,"
"Wait Ash!" Andy exclaimed.
"What?" I asked carefully
"I just got the perfect idea! How come I never asked?"
"Just spit it out Andy damn it," I said impatiently,
"Ashley! Why don't you play bass in the band!"
My heart skipped a beat. All my life I've wanted to be in a band but nobody had ever asked.
"Andy...are you serious?"
"Why wouldn't I be?! Listen, try finding us a guitar player by tomorrow and bring him or her to Alex's place with you to start practicing,"
I couldn't believe it, "You're serious,"
"Oh Ashley just shut the fuck up. Bye!"
I hung up put my phone in my pocket carelessly. This is just...wow.
I looked at myself in the mirror wondering if people would watch a band with me in it.
My hair had gotten long over the past few months and it went past my shoulders a little.
I went into my bathroom and cut myself some bangs. Suits me, I thought.
I grabbed gel and spiked my hair up in the back. I grinned to myself, Ashley Purdy, bass player for Black Veil Brides.

JAKE PITTS' POV
I sat on the bench outside the local move theater reading a guitar magazine and sighed.
Maybe one day I'll be on this. I smirked to myself, with luck I will.
I rolled up the magazine to stuff it into my back pocket and started walking back home.
I looked up at the sky and noticed the sun had started to set. How long had I been here? Oh well, I better head home anyway.
I walked with my hands in my pockets and I wasn't watching where I was going when I ran into some guy with spiky black hair wearing a leather jacket.
We both mumbled sorry and continued on our way.
I was walking away from him when I heard a voice calling out, "Hey!" I turned around to see the guy holding up my magazine.
"Oh thanks," I muttered and took it from him. He looked at the title with a pale face.
Must not be a fan of Slash he's probably scared of his look.
"Uh...do you play guitar?" he asked carefully.
I gave a slow nod.
"Listen uh me and my friend we have a band called Black Veil Brides I play bass, he sings, and this girl named Sandra plays drums. He just kicked out our old guitar player and we need a new one,"
"And you want...me? To play in your band," I asked slowly...Holy shit.
"Yeah I mean if you don't want to I understand but I would be happy if you said yes-"
"Yes I'll do it damn it." I said. I face-palmed myself. Awkward Jake.
He grinned "Great, what's your name?" he asked sticking out his hand. I shook it and replied, "I'm Jake Pitts, you?"
"I'm Ashley Purdy,"
"Hey Ashley, what kind of genre is Black Veil Brides?"
"Well we're basically Rock, a little screamo-"
I cut him off, "You had me at rock," I said grinning.
"Here's my phone number, Andy's phone number, and here's the address where we practice. Be there tomorrow at 12:00 pm."
I nodded. "See you then,"
This is going to be amazing. Uh-oh. I hope I didn't just jinx it. Which reminds me...Jinxx. I gotta call Jeremy!
