Flashback, Before The Training Camp
You were sat in class along with Ryu, 21, Bakugo, Midoriya, Tsu, Iida, Uraraka, and Todoroki as Aizawa was explaining about why you were attending a harder class just before heading off to the summer training camp.
"We're running this course with a small number of students, holding it multiple times. This time, it's you nine. Just so you know, this will be harder than a regular class. Prepare yourselves." He said to you all.
"This class was supposed to be hard?" 21 asked as you bonked her on the head and she whimpered as a bump formed on her head while you listened to Aizawa.
"Anyways, in this class, you will fight and capture a hypothetical villain." He announced as Uraraka and Midoriya jumped from their seats.
"It's really a hero-like class!" They cheered before being silence by Aizawa's cold stare.
"This should be obvious, but villains commit many different types of crimes. You will all go to the scene of the crime and determine what happened there, whether or not you should fight, and train your ability to deal with the situation. Your special instructors will be..." He trailed off as the door burst open and All Might was in the back.
"I am here coming through the back door!" He yelled while posing.
"All Might!" Midoriya yelled in joy.
"You're really muscular today, too! Muscle!" Uraraka said while holding her bicep which made him laugh.
"Hahahahahaha!" He laughed proudly from her compliment while flexing even more.
"It's not just All Might. Cementoss, Midnight, Present Mic, and Elite Warrior will also participate as special instructors." Aizawa announced.
"Dad?" You thought as he winked and smirked at you while giving a thumbs up.
"Now, let us begin training. Everyone, meet at Ground Beta." Aizawa said as you all got up to change.
Timeskip, Ground Beta
You were all stood in the middle of the huge training facility together as you were waiting for more instructions on what to do as everyone poked their heads out from the alley you were all in. When you took a look around, there were strange card board cut outs of people.
"I see cardboard cutouts of the police." Midoriya said.
"This must be where the crime scene is." Iida suggested.
"I will tell you the situation at the crime scene." You heard Aizawa as you turned around to find him standing behind you. "There has been a villain attack at a jewelry store. The employees and customers have been taken hostage and everyone is barricaded inside. The number of villains and hostages is unknown. You all have been asked by the police as pro heroes to come and resolve the incident." He laid out the scenario as Iida shot his hand up.
"Mr. Aizawa! The teachers inside are playing the roles of hostages and villai--" He was suddenly cut off by Aizawa.
"I will not be answering any questions. Verify the situation yourselves and resolve the case." He ordered.
"Yes, sir!" You all replied except for Ryu and Bakugo.
"Then, let the capture training begin!" He announced as an alarm rang through the field and signaled the start of the exercise.
"Now, what should we do...?" Iida asked.
"First, we need to see how many villains and hostages there are." You said while trying to look through the windows.
"Uraraka, you go." Bakugo suddenly suggested.
"By myself?" She asked.
"If we all stream in, the villains'll notice. You can just look inside through that window." He said as she nodded.
"O-Okay, got it." She nodded to his suggestion.
"Isn't it dangerous?" 21 asked.
"Then, we should distract the villains." Todoroki said as he made a phone call to the villains.
"Who's this? The police?" A voice asked as he put down his phone.
"All Might's playing a villain." He said before going back on the phone. "I'm a pro hero. You're the culprit, aren't you?" He asked.
"I wonder about that." All Might replied as the two conversed over the phone and you were telling Uraraka what to do.
"Use your right hand to tell us how many villains there are, and for the hostages, use your left." You said to her.
"Okay!" She said as she turned around and took a deep breath before using her quirk on herself.
She began to float and her face was red from trying to resist the nausea as you lifted her up and gently pushed her towards the windows of the building. She made it to the building and peeked inside to see three people tied up, and two villains standing side-by-side as one was conversing on the phone, meaning that was All Might. She turned around and gave two fingers on her right and three on her left.
"Two villains, three hostages." You said as you signaled for her to stand by using hand signals before you suddenly pushed everyone back behind the wall. "Stay back." You said as you saw the 'villain' looking outside.
"He' checking to see if we've left." Todoroki said.
"Everyone, make sure you hide well. If he sees us, the hostages will be in danger." Tsu spoke up.
"What should we do? Should we go around to the back of the store?" Iida asked.
"Ahhhhhhhh! This is stupid!" Bakugo suddenly stood up.
"Kacchan!?" Midoriya asked.
"Bakugo-kun, don't tell me--!?" Iida was cut off in shock.
"You're planning on charging straight in?" Todoroki asked.
"Of course! While I'm firing off explosions at those damn villains, you guys go and save the hostages or something!" He said while stepping closer to the exit of the alley.
"You're being too impetuous, Bakugo." Tsu said.
"What are you saying? This is our chance, while he's by the window!" He yelled as he blasted off towards the entrance.
"I knew it would turn out this way..." Aizawa said while watching everything go down.
"He won't be the one to make them piss themselves..." Ryu said as he joined him in assaulting the front as you all broke out into a sprint for the back.
"We have no choice but to go, too!" Iida said as you all ran across the street to the other alley.
"Sorry, but this training isn't so you can fight." Aizawa said as Midoriya noticed something.
"That villains are gone...!" He yelled.
"Damn it, I won't let you have the hostages!" Bakugo yelled as he and Ryu both flew towards the entrance and blasted it open.
"What the hell! You morons!" You yelled while flying towards them.
"Oh, no! Hurry!" Iida yelled while they ran faster.
Once you all got inside however, you were all stunned at what was in front of you.
"What the...?" You spoke lowly.
"You see, you guys...here's where the special class really begins. It will be interesting to see how you deal with this." Aizawa said as you were all staring at the body of All Might and your dad in a villain costume as they had blood all over them and looked as if they were stabbed.
"The villains are...dead..." Midoriya said lowly.
Tsu walked over near his head and waved her hair in his face as he let out a little laugh and couldn't resist not moving as he tried playing dead.
"He's not actually dead, but it looks like he's supposed to be." She said as Uraraka joined you all and you kicked your dad's leg as he grunted but kept his character.
"Did he die from Bakugo and Ryu's explosion?" Uraraka asked.
"Even if I added my power, I barely put any thought into it like Mr. Sparky Sparky Boom Man over here." Ryu said as Bakugo was glaring and growling at him. "Either way, didn't you see from up there?" He asked.
"I couldn't see anything because of the smoke from the explosion." She said as Ryu huffed.
"The murder weapons is this knife covered in blood." Todoroki said while you all looked at the bloody knife on the floor.
"The scene of the crime was surrounded by police, so if we assume that no one went in or out...Then whoever killed the villains...is among the hostages!" Iida announced as Present Mic, Midnight, and Cementoss stared with shocked and scared faces.
"Alright, that makes things easier. Time to die." Ryu said as he was walking towards Present Mic with energy surging in his hand as Present Mic was screaming into his gag and shook his head and begged for mercy.
"Ryu." You said as he sighed and stopped.
"Fine..." He looked away and crossed his arms as Present Mic relaxed.
"Wait, Iida-kun. It's too soon to decide that. Let's listen to what the hostages have to say first." Midoriya suggested.
"He's right. We need to know what happened at the scene." Tsu said as you untied the hostages and questioned them one by one, starting with Cementoss.
"I am an employee of this jewelry store. I was threatened by the villains who suddenly appeared and after I gave him the jewels he tied me up with a rope." He said as you moved on to Midnight.
"I came to buy some accessories, but when I came in, the villain was here and he caught me when I was still too surprised to do anything." She answered as you moved to the final hostage, Present Mic.
"Yo, I came to find an engagement ring, yo, for my girl. and then the villain appeared! He hit me with a lariat and I was knocked out, yo!" Present Mic sounded idiotic.
"All in favor of this buffoon being the killer, say I." Ryu said as he aimed a ball of energy at him and made him cry for mercy.
"Ryu." You scolded as he put down his hand and rolled his eyes as Present Mic was at your feet thanking you.
"When the villain came in, was he inside the store?" Todoroki asked.
"Yes, he was. He was knocked unconscious and didn't wake up for a while." Cementoss confirmed.
"When you came into the store, were the two of them here?" Todoroki continued to investigate.
"I didn't look right when I came in, but when he was tying me up, I saw the two of them had been made to sit in different parts of the store." Midnight confirmed her story.
"There aren't any discrepancies in what they're saying." Todoroki was at a stand still.
"Excuse me, but may we see inside your wallets?" Midoriya asked as they complied and showed the insides of their wallets.
"How's it look inside Midnight's?" You asked 21 while going through Present Mic's wallet.
"There are a bunch of credit cards." She said.
"Present Mic's is full, too. They both had enough funds to buy jewelry." You said as she nodded.
"Those damn villains were killed. The culprit is one of them!" Bakugo said in frustration.
"And the motive?" Todoroki asked.
"Huh? The stolen jewelry, of course!" He yelled back in his face.
"Even if that were the case, wasn't it a little too reckless to kill the villain right here? They'd be obvious suspects." Tsu mentioned to everyone.
"Besides, the villains were holding the jewelry. No one took them." Todoroki said.
"If the motive wasn't theft, then..." Tsu trailed off.
"Maybe some kind of internal conflict?" Uraraka suggested.
"It's possible, maybe there were three villains, and thye argued about how to split the loot evenly. So in retaliation--" Tsu picked up her part.
"If that were the case, then the hostages should've heard their conversation." She said as you looked at them three hostages again.
"I didn't hear anything like that, yo!" Present Mic said stupidly again.
"I didn't either." Cementoss said.
"Me, neither." Midnight agreed.
"Were the villains alone?" Todoroki asked.
"Yes." Cementoss answered as Iida came back in from the back door.
"I looked in every corner of the store, but there's no back exit, and all the windows were closed. There's no doubt they were acting alone." He confirmed.
"Then, the culprit must be here--" Uraraka was cut off.
"I didn't do it!" Midnight cried out.
"I didn't, either!" Cementoss retaliated.
"It wasn't me, yo! I swear, yo-BWAH!" He was cut off when Ryu punched him the gut and made him wheeze while falling to his knees.
"You got really annoying. Say anything like that again, I'll grind you into dust." He threatened as Aizawa was staring at them from the entrance.
"They haven't been able to find definitive evidence of who the killer is. Here is their second choice..." He thought as Tsu turned to you.
"Wouldn't it be best to tell the police the situation and leave it to them?" She asked.
"You do have a point." Iida agreed.
"But it's frustrating, since we know the culprit is here..." Uraraka said lowly.
"Then..." Bakugo was flaring his hand with small explosions as the hostages stepped back from him. "We should just make them confess!" He yelled in anger.
"Bakugo!" Todoroki yelled.
"Stop that!" Iida scolded him.
"If you do that, then the police will arrest you." Tsu mentioned.
"I know that!" He yelled before seeing you and Midoriya deep in thought before growling and looking away. "Hey, damn Deku. You've thought of something, haven't you?" He said as Midoriya looked at him.
"Yeah, something's been bothering us." He said to everyone.
"What?" Todoroki asked.
"Why did the villains barricade themselves in the jewelry store? Right? Because if they were after jewelry, then he should've just escaped right after they stole them. So then, why?" Midoriya was trying to piece things together.
"That's because while I was putting the jewelry into the bag like he ordered me to, the police arrived." Cementoss said.
"Did you call them?" 21 asked.
"It wasn't me." He answered.
"Someone from outside the store saw it and called the police..." Iida said.
"If that's the case, then the one who called was..." Midoriya trailed off as you got in front of Midnight.
"It was you, wasn't it?" You asked.
"M-Me?!" She gasped in shock as you were stepping towards her and she was backing away towards the wall slowly.
"You were the only one to come in after the villain did." You said.
"Wait a minute, Y/N-kun!" Iida yelled.
"Are you even more stupid than I thought? Why would the person who called the police come inside to get caught on purpose?" Ryu asked as Midnight was backed against the wall.
"That's because...That's because I think that was the reason why the villain barricaded themselves. Midnight, you knew the Villains before this, right?" You asked as she had a nervous look and was starting to sweat. "On top of that, you knew he committed crimes. Knowing ahead of time that he was going to rob a jewelry store, you called the police right after the attack. Then, before the police arrived...you came in the store yourself. One of the villains had been shaken to see your appearance, but he also understood your real intention. Even then, the villains continued their robbery, tying you up...While doing that, the police arrived, and they were forced to barricade themselves." You said.
"Wh-Why would I need to do a thing like that--?" She asked.
"Because you wanted to stop them, right? The villains. No matter how many times you tried to convince the villain you knew to stop, he wouldn't. That's why you acted in a way to get the villain caught by the police." You said.
"Wait, Y/N. Even if things happened the way you said, why were the villains killed?" Uraraka asked.
"She just wanted to stop the villains, right?" Todoroki asked.
"Yeah, that's right. She doesn't have a motive to kill them." Iida said.
"Yeah, she has no motive. That's why the villain...isn't among them." You said while walking away from Midnight and they were all shocked.
"What did you say?!" Iida asked.
"What do you mean, Y/N!?" Uraraka was unbalanced from shock.
"Could it have been...?" Tsu trailed off.
"...Murder followed by suicide?" Todoroki wondered as you turned back to Midnight and went up to her again.
"Probably. After figuring out Midnight's intention, he still thought to escape. But because we, pro heroes, came to the scene..." Midoriya trailed off.
"The one who knew Midnight resigned himself to his fate and killed his partner before committing suicide?" Iida asked.
"That's not it. This is what the villain was thinking:" Midoriya said as he got all your classmates attention. "If I get caught, then my relationship with Midnight might be exposed. If that happened, then a dark shadow would fall over her life. That's why the villain... sealed his mouth with his own hands. Midnight didn't tell us the truth because she realized what he was thinking as he gave up his life for her." Midoriya said as Midnight broke down and you caught her as she cried and sobbed loudly. "That's why she couldn't say anything." He said as Uraraka looked at him.
"Deku-kun...were Midnight and the Villain...?" She asked as he only looked away.
"That's so sad. Midnight was trying to save the villain because she loved him..." Tsu said while tearing up.
"And the villain was trying to save Midnight because he loved her." Iida said in shock.
"For that to end like this...How ironic." Todoroki said while looking away.
"This is the truth behind the villain jewelry store attack." Midoriya said as they all sighed deeply.
"What the hell is this joke?" Bakugo and Ryu thought in annoyance and disgust.
"Okay, that's it." Aizawa announced as the exercise was over.
"Oh, that was so fun!" Midnight sprung up before looking at you with hunger. "You were so caring as well for my own feelings, ohh, you were wonderful!" She said while hugging you happily and rubbing herself on you.
"H-Hey!" You gasped while blushing red.
"She's back to herself already!?" Your classmates all yelled in shock.
"Thanks, you three. You can go back now." Aizawa said to the three 'hostages' as they walked out and Midnight leaned to your ear.
"Meet me in my office after this, I have a special reward for you." She whispered into your ear as you blushed even more while she left.
"Y/N. Midoriya." Aizawa called you two.
"Yes, sir." You both stood in front of him.
"Your deductions were exactly the same as the scenario we prepared for this. The villain killed his partner before he cut himself with his own knife. Good job getting all the way here from wondering why the villains barricaded themselves." He praised you both.
"Oh, Mr.Aizawa's praising you!" 21 and Uraraka said to you and Midoriya.
"Good job Y/N-kun, Midoriya-kun!" Iida said to you both.
"Thanks..." You both said.
"But, you guys overlooked one major thing." Aizawa said as you all looked at him. "Therefore, your score for this capture training is...Zero points." He said.
"WHAT!?" You all shouted in shock.
"What's the meaning of this!?" Bakugo and Ryu yelled in anger.
"Look." He said as you all turned around.
You all gasped when you saw All Might and your Dad's bodies were gone, along with the jewelry.
"The villain's corpses are gone!" Midoriya yelled in shock.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NICE TRICK WITH THE BLOOD, ELITE WARRIOR!" All Might praised your dad.
"My kids are so gonna kill me, but I can only imagine the looks on their faces!" Your dad laughed loudly as they ran away.
"They're alive...!" You all screamed in shock.
"We're fleeing towards freedom!" All Might yelled as they disappeared from your sight.
"Damn it....Get back here....YOU DAMN DIRTY FATHER!!!!!!" You yelled in anger as you transformed and flew after them as they screamed and ran faster.
"You were all under the assumption that the villain was a corpse and didn't tie him up, so you lose. You didn't follow through at the end." Aizawa said.
"No way..." Midoriya said.
"That's allowed?" Bakugo asked in shock.
"Didn't you notice when All Might gave you a hint while he was playing the villain? When Asui tickled him..." He said.
"Ribbit!" She croaked in surprise.
"...he reacted, didn't he? Corpses do not move. He was alive. That's it for this time's special class. Dismissed!" Aizawa said while walking away.
"No..." Midoriya said sadly.
"That's dirty!" Bakugo yelled in anger.
"Wait a minute. If the villain is alive, then he pretended to kill himself but was looking for the right chance to escape, right?" Iida asked.
"Midnight misunderstood and thought he did it for her, huh?" Tsu said in pity.
"Then, what about their love?!" Uraraka and 21 asked in despair.
"What about their love!?" Midoriya in anger.
"Their love...?" Todoroki looked up at the sky.
"There was no love!" Bakugo screamed in anger as the wall next to them collapsed from his voice.
"The wall! AHHHHH!!!!" They all screamed as they were covered in smoke and dust.
Timeskip, Back At The School
After the exercise, you went back to the school grounds and All Might had invited you to come along with him and Midoriya to a place called I-Island. You accepted it of course and planned to pack what you needed for the trip. Right now, you were walking back to put your costume away in your case in the classroom when suddenly, you were pulled into another room and pressed against the wall as the door shut and locked and the lights were out.
"I finally have you for myself." You heard Midnight's voice as you gasped.
"H-Hey! W-We shouldn't do this!" You retaliated.
"Why? Because I'm a teacher and you're a student? Isn't it exciting though? The thrill of a forbidden love coming to the light between a pro hero and the upcoming Symbol of Hope. Ahh~ I love it~" She said while grinding against you.
"M-Midnight...No...We can't..." Her quirk was suddenly making you feel weak and hazy as your body was starting to loosen.
"I love it when you talk like that~ It's so good~" She said while turning your face towards her as she smiled at you. "Y/N~ Y/N~! Y/N~~!" You heard her voice getting louder and louder.
Flashback Over
"Y/N!" Everyone in the arena yelled.
"AHHHHHH!!!!!!" Your were blown into a building as a green energy ball flew towards you and blew the entire thing up with your inside as you were tossed out of the flames and rolled across the ground and landed next to Ryu who was also injured.
"Wh-What kind of juice did he drink...?" Ryu groaned as you opened your eyes.
"What was that...? Was that a part of my life flashing before my eyes...? Am I about to die here...?" You wondered as you chuckled and turned over. "No...I can't die...Not yet..." You thought as you pushed yourself up onto your feet as Broly stared you down.
"Ready for another beating?" He asked with a smirk as you stood against him.
"Let's see how you like it when I go full power, monster." You said while glaring at him.
"Monster? Broly is not a monster. Broly is.....durh...?" He tried to name himself.
"A genuine demon?" Iida asked.
"A true freak!?" Bakugo yelled from far away.
"...the Devil!" He said with a sadistic grin.
