"... with you tomorrow, what do you think?"
I blinked repeatedly, snapping out of it. I look at Hyunjin, nodding immediately, because I honestly don't know what he just said. All I know is, I'm an idiot that was never over Hyunjin in the beginning but was too stupid to realize the whole entire time.
"Okay.. I'll text you later to confirm the time. See you tomorrow!" He smiled at me and walked away, walking out of the building.
I take a deep and loud breath, smacking my forehead repeatedly. I curse myself mentally and then I walk away, walking outside. Seungcheol is supposedly picking me up, so I stood by a pole and waited. Minutes after, his car was in the distance. He stopped the car right in front of me, and I was about to get into the passenger seat, but I noticed that his dongsaeng Chan was in the front seat. I then get into the back seat, greeted by Jeonghan and Seungkwan. I closed the car door and my brother drove off. It was weird that they let the maknae sit in the front and the second oldest sit in the back.
"Hi, Y/N! How was school?" Jeonghan looked at me, with a sweet smile.
My heart-
"It was average." I shrug, nodding.
"If you have hard homework, Dino can help you." Seungkwan offered again.
"Hyung, if she doesn't want help, then stop telling her I could help her!!" Chan whined.
I chuckle awkwardly, but I could literally die hearing Chan whine in that aegyo voice, I swear. This is why I can't choose a bias.
"Thank you." I tell Seungkwan.
"Um, guys?" I clear my throat.
I figure this is the right time to talk about Hyunjin and they could give me advice.
"Seungcheol, please don't be mad at me-"
"What did you do this time?" He sighed.
"I think- I think I'm still in love with Hyunjin." I say slowly, scared that he was going to scold me.
"WHAT? Hyung told me about that guy, from what I've heard he's a jerk!!" Chan yelled out.
"Be quiet for a moment. Y/N, you said what? Did I not hear right?" Seungcheol looked at me through the rear view mirror.
"I realized.. that I'm not over him. I thought I was." I repeat.
"It's okay, Y/N. You can't stop your feelings for someone no matter how much you want to." Jeonghan said in a soothing soft voice.
"Seungcheol.. what do you think?" I breath out, nervous.
"If he makes you happy, I can't do anything. Are you going to confess?" He replied, sighing deeply.
"I don't know. I doubt he likes me back." I shrug, looking out the window.
"You never know, boo! Maybe he does. Is he touchy and over protective when it comes to you?" Seungkwan asked me.
"I mean.. yeah? When he sees someone else hugging me- for instance, Jeongin, he tells him to get off of me. When my other friends ask me if I have a boyfriend, he asks them why they care. When we went to get milkshakes, he asked me if I liked this guy and had a frown on his face." I reply.
"Oh my gosh- it was obvious all along! Y/N, I'm sorry, but you're blind." Seungkwan chuckled.
"He wants you to himself, that's why he tells people to get off you if they're hugging you." Jeonghan added.
I guess I was really oblivious then.
hyunjin pov.
I got into Minhyun's car, his friends Seungwoo, Daniel, and Jaehwan were in there too. I had to sit in the back seat with two of them, Daniel sat in the front. Jaehwan looked at me with a skeptical look.
"Minhyun told me that you still love Y/N, how are you holding up? When are you going to tell her?" He asked me.
"Hyung, why would you tell them my personal love life!!" I glare at my brother.
"We're all family, they don't judge." Minhyun said shrugging.
"So you're saying when you decided to tell them that I cheated they didn't call me stupid?" I sigh.
"No. I mean- they know you were but didn't want to say anything since you're my brother and all." He snickered.
"Did you tell- don't tell me you told Mom and Dad."
Dear lord, please tell me my parents don't know.
"They don't. Even if I did, Dad would be proud of you! He'd call it a phase-"
"Hyung. Shut up. But thanks for not telling them." I flatly said.
"When are you gonna tell her?" Daniel cut in.
"I asked her out to a- a date tomorrow, I don't even think she knows I'm intending it as a date. I probably will tell her then."
"What if it goes bad? What if she rejects you-"
"Hyung, I swear-" I facepalm myself.
"I doubt she'll reject you." Seungwoo assured me.
"I don't think she likes me back." I sigh again.
"Maybe she does, you just gotta believe." Daniel assured me as well.
"Hopefully."

y/n pov.
next day
I sat on my bed, scrolling through social media, bored and unamused because I had nothing else to do. My mom had gone to work as usual; Seungcheol was out with his members, my bestfriends were all busy, including Jeongin.
The only thing on my mind was Hyunjin, no matter how much I wanted to get him out of my head. I just received a text message from Hyunjin; speak of the devil. Or angel. My heart fluttered looking at his contact name, even though it was so simple.
hwang hyunjin: Are we still going?
y/n: going where
Are we going somewhere I didn't know we were going to?
hwang hyunjin: I was thinking Children's Grand Park. Are you in? I thought we talked about this yesterday, lol
y/n: ohhhh yea right
I totally didn't forget about that.
y/n: yeah i'm in
hwang hyunjin: My brother said he could drive us and drop us off. We'll pick you up at 5.
y/n: okay, see you then :)
seen 4:05 pm
I turned my phone off, standing up from my bed. I walked over to my closet, choosing out what to wear. I decided to wear a denim high waisted skirt and a simple black long sleeved shirt.
I threw the pieces of clothing onto the bed, walking to the bathroom to take a, quote on quote, 'quick' shower.

Forty minutes later, I walked back into the room, sitting down at my desk, putting light makeup on. After that, I blow dried my hair and brushed it out, deciding to leave it straight. I stood up and changed into the chosen outfit, satisfied with what I looked like.
I grabbed my phone and got a shoulder bag that matched with my outfit, also choosing out a pair of black vans. I put my wallet into the bag: luckily I found out Seungcheol had actually stolen some of my money and he paid me back what he stole. I sprayed some light perfume on and walked outside to the living room. Seungcheol and some of his members were there. They all looked at me and I bowed to them politely, as they smiled, gasping.
"Are you going on a date?!" Seungcheol jumped out of his chair.
"I wouldn't call it a date.. but I guess." I shrug.
"With who?" He asked me.
"Hyunjin." I breath out, feeling butterflies from just simply saying his name.
"Wow, he's so lucky~" Soonyoung yelled out.
"Hyung, you're like 10 years older than her, stop." Chan deadpanned.
I chuckled, embarrassed.
"Well, have fun. My members and I will be here if you run into trouble." Seungcheol sighed, sitting back down.
My phone buzzed, and it was a message from Hyunjin himself.
hwang hyunjin: We're in the front, come out.
I said bye to the members and to my brother, walking out the house and closing the front door behind me. I saw Minhyun's car waiting for me there, Hyunjin got out of the car and opened the door to the back seat for me. We smiled at eachother as I got inside, sitting down. Hyunjin got inside as well and sat besides me, closing the car door. His brother drove off.
This car smells like Minhyun, which isn't a bad thing. I can't believe I'm saying that about an idol-
"Hi, Y/N." Minhyun greeted me.
"I'm supposed to say hi to her first, hyung." Hyunjin shook his head slowly.
"Well too bad." His brother teased.
I chuckled.
"Hello, you two." I greet back.
"Are you excited to be going on this date?" Minhyun asked me.
Well damn, I guess it really is a date.
