"You guys don't hold back even though I'm talking, huh?!" She yelled in anger before composing herself. "Yes, that's right! And the points assigned go up by five starting from the bottom. So 42nd place gets five points, and 41st gets ten points! And the point value assigned to first place is...ten million!" She announced.
"T-Ten million?!" Midoriya wondered in complete horror.
Suddenly, the entire stadium went so silent that you could hear an ant sneaking around through the cracks of the walls. Suddenly, Ryu put his head near Midoriya's ear and smirked as he whispered.
"Hi there." He whispered.
"H-Hi...C-C-C-Can I help y-y-y-y-you...?" Midoriya replied scaredly.
"No, but maybe I can help you." Ryu said as he suddenly caressed his cheek and made him feel uncomfortable.
"Uhhh, I n-n-need an adult..." He said.
"I am an adult." Ryu said before grabbing both his cheeks an d squishing them tightly as he stared into his soul. "And you are thoroughly screwed." He said as every student locked their sights on him.
"Ten million, huh?" Shinso thought.
"In other words, if you take down the first place player's team..." Hatsume trailed off as everyone thought the same thing.
"...you can stand at the top no matter what place you're in!" The thought together while staring at Midoriya with hunger.
"That's right. It's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!" Midnight announced as you suddenly placed your hand on Midoriya's shoulder, making him scream as you smiled at him.
"Midoriya, don't worry, we're friends remember?" You said as he was somewhat relieved.
"Y/N-kun..." He said with relief before turning ghostly white as you grinned widely.
"But as of this moment, you are a disease that I must eradicate if I am able to proclaim my justice on this sports festival." You said evilly as you let off a dark aura .
"Wh-Wh-Where did he get the earring...?!" Midoriya wondered as he was now terrified for his life at the U.A. sports festival.
"Izuku Midoriya, who placed first in the qualifier, is worth ten million points!" Midnight once again announced loudly as Midoriya's heart was beating harder and faster than it ever had in his life.
"The eyes around me are different from junior high...The top spot I got for an instant because of luck...Even so..." Midoriya trailed off in his mind.
"You're quick to understand, huh. young man?" All Might saw in Midoriya.
"Even so, is it really this heavy, All Might?" He thought to himself as he tried to gain strength to push through the next game.
"Now then, I will explain the rules of the cavalry battle. The time limit is fifteen minutes. Each time is worth the total of its members' points, and the riders will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many points as they can. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them! And the most important thing is even if your headband gets stolen, or if your team falls, you're not out!" Midnight told everyone.
"Which means..." Momo trailed off in thought.
"...since there are 42 people, there will be ten or twelve teams on the field the whole time?" Sato asked as Aoyama popped up between them.
"That's tough." He said.
"One strategy could be to let someone take your points first so you'll be more free." Mina suggested.
"It's hard to say without seeing how the points end up getting split up, Mina." Tsu stated.
"During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use your quirks. But it is still a cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that are trying to make people fall on purpose! You'll be removed immediately!" Midnight stated as Bakugo scoffed and looked away displeased and the screen turned into a fifteen minute timer. "Now, you have fifteen minutes to build your teams. Start!" She yelled as students were surprised by the sudden action, and suddenly turned towards you and Ryu with desperate eyes as you were both surrounded.
"PLEASE BE ON MY TEAM! Y/N-KUN! RYU-KUN!" They yelled in unison as you and Ryu had to fight off a mob of desperate students.
"Points don't really matter in my case. As expected, people are teaming up with their classmates, huh? Since no one has a good grasp of what quirks those in the other class have. I need to do something quick, too..." He stated while being shocked at the solitary he found himself in as no one wanted to be his teammate. "...about the current state where everyone's totally avoiding me!" He thought while trying to approach Ojiro. "Um, Ojiro...?" He called out in hope.
"Sorry..." He replied with a sad smile as he walked away awkwardly, leaving a shocked Midoriya.
"As I thought, no one wants to keep the points for the whole game. It'd be a better strategy to try and steal the points at the end. And unlike Todoroki and Kacchan, I didn't use my quirk, so no one has any confidence in me..." He thought in sorrow before a voice of hope called to him.
"Deku-kun!" Uraraka called him as he slowly turned towards her with his shocked expression. "Let's be a team!" She said with a smile as he burst into tears of joy.
"Uraraka-san! I-Is it really okay? Everyone'll probably be after me because of my ten million points!" He asked in hopes as she wiped off the tears that got on her.
"If we run away the whole time, then you'll win, right?" She asked excitedly.
"I-I think you're overestimating me, Uraraka-san..." He said timidly.
"Like I would! Anyway, it's better to team up with people you get along with!" She said with a bright warming smile as his heart had a knot in it now and he made an ugly face. "What's the matter? You look ugly, you know." She said as he wiped his eyes.
"Oh, nothing...It's just you're so bright that I can't look straight at you...Actually, I wanted to team up with you, too. Thanks! For teams, it's best to be with people you can communicate with smoothly, right?" He asked as she nodded happily. "Actually, with your quirk and one other person...I thought of a plan!" He said before the two of them ran towards Iida. "Iida-kun." He said getting his attention as he huddled the three of them together. "The three of us would be horses with Iida in the front! And then, if we use Uraraka's quirk to make me light, we'd be able to maneuver easily." He strategist.
"I see!" Uraraka said.
"It's better to have someone physically stronger as the rider, but I haven't decided who...Anyway, this is all I could think of to keep running away until the end..." He told Iida.
"I expected no less, Midoriya...But I am afraid I have to refuse." He said, shocking his two friends. "Ever since the entrance exam, I just keep losing to you. You are a wonderful friend, but that's why, if I just keep following you, I will never grow." He said as he adjusted his glasses. "Bakugo and Todoroki aren't the only ones who see you as a rival. I will challenge you." He said as he walked to his team which consisted of Momo, Kaminari, and Todoroki.
"Iida-kun..." Uraraka said lowly before looking around nervously.
"It's already begun. Everyone's an enemy. That's right. I'm at the top right now. I can't just play at being friends." He said as a familiar giggle and the sound of something hovering over the ground approached the duo.
"As I thought, this is great. You stand out!" A female voice said as they turned around and saw Hatsume get in their faces. "Team up with me, person in first place!" She said excitedly.
"Ahh, so close! Who're you!?" Midoriya screamed lightly as she giggled.
"I am Mei Hatsume, from the support course!" She introduced herself.
"Oh, that weird person from back then!" Uraraka said as she remembered her from the tight rope obstacle.
"I don't know you, but let me use your position!" She said with her hands on her hips.
"She's honest!" Midoriya said in shock as she got close to his face again.
"If I team up with you, then I'll inevitably become part of the team everyone's watching the most, right?" She said as she got even closer. "If that happens, then my super cute babies will inevitably be seen by the big companies." She said before getting REALLY close to their faces. "That means, in other words, that those companies will see my babies!" She said excitedly.
"W-Wait a minute. Babies and big companies? What are you--" She was cut off as she approached Midoriya even more and completely ignored her. "Oh, she's not interested in me..." She shook in shock as Hatsume opened a case full of her gadgets, or...'babies...'
"The support course develops equipment that helps heroes deal with their quirks. I have a ton of babies, so I'm sure you'll be able to find one that you like! Oh, has this one caught your eye?" She asked while holding a jet pack. "I made this based on a certain hero's backpack, adding my own original twist to it." She said.
"Could you be talking about the Buster Hero, Air Jet?" He asked as he held the jet back and she giggled as they continued to converse, completely ignoring Uraraka. "I like him, too!" He said.
"Really?" She replied as Uraraka stared on with an blank face.
"I see. They're already getting along." She thought before Midoriya turned back to being serious.
"Not being able to team up with Iida was a blow, but with Hatsume and Uraraka...I just need one more person." He said as he scanned over all the students who were standing in groups. "It looks like everyone's pretty set on their teams already, huh? No, that's fine. The power our team's missing...The one who can fill that spot is..." He trailed off in thought as he rapidly looked for a final member, and his sights landed on the perfect candidate as he walked off.
"Deku-kun?" Uraraka called out to him as he walked on to the person he saw as the final piece, and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"...you!" He said as the timer ran out and buzzed as Midnight spoke up.
"Now then, it's about time to get started!" She announced.
"Come on, wake up, Eraser."" Present Mic tapped Aizawa's shoulder as he opened his eyes before speaking into the mic. "After fifteen minutes to form teams and talk strategy, twelve cavalry teams are lined up on the field!" Present Mic announced.
"There are some interesting teams out there." Aizawa said as he analyzed the teams.
"Now, raise those battle cries! It's time for U.A.'s bloody battle! Light the signal fire!" Present Mic yelled as Midoriya tied on his ten million point headband, as Uraraka and Hatsume supported him from the back, and his final member, Tokoyami held the front of his with his dark shadow as the spearhead.
"Yes!" Dark Shadow yelled in excitement.
"Uraraka-san." Midoriya called out.
"Yes!" She replied with confidence.
"Hatsume-san." He called her as she giggled and smiled at him."Tokoyami-kun." He called him.
"Yeah." He replied as he and his Dark Shadow were ready.
"I'm counting on you!" He yelled out while holding onto them.
The screen changed once more as a voice called out to Midoriya.
"Hey! Midoriya!" You called him as he looked to his left and saw you with Ryu as he rode on your shoulders as a two-man team, with your total point value standing at 405 points. "Better watch your back! We're coming for you last, and I think Todoroki's got it in for you. He'll try to corner you! Don't let it happen!" You told him as he nodded.
"Right!" He replied.
"All right! You've made your teams, right? I'm not gonna ask if you're ready or not! Now, let's go! Counting down the brutal battle royal! Three...!" Present Mic announced.
"We're aiming for..." Bakugo trailed off while cracking his knuckles.
"Two...!" Present Mic counted down.
"...one thing." Todoroki said.
"One!" The final number was called.
"Start!" Midnight cracked her whip as all the teams ran towards Midoriya right off the start.
"It's basically a battle for the ten million points!" Tetsutetsu creid out.
"Hahaha! Midoriya, I'll take that!" Toru laughed while her team ran towards him as well, and Midoriya saw that you and Ryu were just watching what was happening.
"They're not coming for us...?" Midoriya wondered.
"An attack without delay, huh...The fate of the pursued..." Tokoyami said.
"Fate..." Uraraka thought about what he said.
"Make your choice, Midoriya!" He called out.
"Choice...!" Hatsume thought.
"Of course, our move is to run away!" Midoriya called out.
"I won't let you!" Tetsutetsu protested as his teammate, Juzo used his quirk and made the ground around them begin to swallow them up.
"We're sinking!?" Midoriya said in shock as he looked at Juzo. "That person's quirk, huh?" He thought.
"It's no good...I can't get out...!" Uraraka said while struggling.
"Uraraka! Hatsume! Turn your faces away!" He said as he lifted a red button up and they turned their faces away from him, and he pressed the button as the jets on the jet pack fired and propelled them into the sky, out of the ground and over everyone else.
"He flew? Thanks to the support course, huh? Follow them!" Tetsutetsu called out.
"Jiro-chan!" Toru called as Jiro sent her ear jacks towards them, but Dark Shadow deflected them.
"Tokoyami!" She called out in frustration.
"Good! Dark Shadow, keep watch over our blind spots!" Tokyami ordered.
"Got it!" Dark Shadow replied.
"Wow, that's so cool! The defense that we were lacking...You're more than making it up with your own omnidirectional mid-range defense! That's amazing, Tokoyami-kun!" Midoriya praised him.
"You're the one who chose me." He replied while looking forward.
"We're landing!" Uraraka said as she used the hover soles Hatsume gave her and hovered them above the ground.
"Making everyone other than Uraraka weightless, so our weight is just Uraraka plus the equipment and clothes." Midoriya thought happily as they landed and continued to run.
"What do you think of my babies? Aren't they cute? Cuteness can be made, you know." Hatsume said with a big smile.
"Excellent mobility! The babies are amazing, Hatsume-san!" Midoriya praised her.
"Right?" She said with a wide smile and blush as Uraraka stared with a pout.
"It's because I'm making them float..." Uraraka said lowly.
"Well, what are we waiting for Y/N? Get going!" Ryu said as he smacked your head and you ran.
"Ow! Hey! I'm not just some horse you can kick to make it go faster! I'm only doing this because you didn't want to let anyone else on our team!" You said with a bump on your head.
"We don't need anyone else, Y/N. We are elites, and we don't need any help from anyone." He said as you rolled your eyes.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Let's just snatch everyone else's headbands." You said as you were quickly running towards them team you saw snatch Toru's headband.
"I'll take that!" Ryu laughed as you ran passed them at insane speeds and they didn't notice you take their headbands for about five seconds before yelling and looking around. "Haha! Like taking candy from a baby!" He said.
"Now then, even though barely two minutes have passed since we've started, It's already turned into a free-for-all! Fights over headbands breaking out all over! Ignoring the ten million points and going for second to fourth places isn't bad, either!" Present Mic announced.
There was laughter coming from behind Midoriya as he turned around and saw Shoji charging right towards him all by himself with his extra appendages covering his back.
"Fighting? No, this is...a one-sided pillage!" A voice coming from Shoji's back called.
"Shoki-kun? What? By himself? But it's a team battle!" Midoriya said in shock as Tokoyami saw Tetsutetsu charging towards them again.
"Let's put some space between us for now. We can't be caught standing still against multiple opponents!" Tokoyami said.
They tried to move, but Uraraka's foot was stuck and when she looked down, there was a strange purple orb gluing her to the floor.
"What?" She cried out.
"What's wrong, Uraraka-san?" Midoriya asked.
"I'm stuck!" She called while trying to pull her foot off.
"That's Mineta's...Where'd it come from?" Midoriya asked as Mineta called him.
"From here...Midoriya..." He said as Midoriya gasped from seeing him hiding on Shoji's back.
"What? Is that allowed?" Midoriya cried out.
"It is!" Midnight cracked her whip proudly as a long tongue shot out from Shoji's back and flew pass Midoriya's head, and almost snatched Tetsuteetsu's headband, and retracted to reveal Tsu.
"I didn't expect any less from you, Midoriya." She said while hiding in the pocket on Shoji's back.
"Asui-san, too? That's amazing, Shoji!" Midoriya prasied him.
"Call me Tsu!" She complained as she and Mineta continued their attack, trying to snatch the ten million points.
"Team Mineta makes use of the overwhelming difference in their sizes! They're like a tank!" Present Mic announced.
"Midoriya, get away!" Tokoyami yelled as Midoriya pressed the button for the jet pack again and took off, breaking the sole of the hover boot that was stuck to the ground, making Hatsume cry in horror.
"My baby was torn apart!" She cried.
"Sorry! But we got away!" He replied before an explosion was heard and he saw Bakugo flying towards them. "Kacchan!" He gasped.
"Don't get carried away! Damn it!" He yelled as he reached for the headband.
"Tokoyami-kun!" Midoriya yelled.
"OUT OF THE WAY!" Ryu yelled as he and Bakugo both misdeed Midoriya and crashed their hands into each other and using their quirks, creating a massive explosion that blew them both away.
"Ryu!" You yelled as you caught him and he got on your shoulders again.
"Y/N-kun!" Midoriya gasped.
"You got lucky this time, Midoriya!" You yelled.
"It's you! The cute guy who caught me in the air! So, do you like my babies? Or do you wanna have my babies~." She said seductively as you flew off.
"Hell no!" You yelled while flying with Ryu.
"Whaaa!? They've gotten separated from their horses! Is that okay!?" Present Mic yelled.
"It's a technicality, so it's okay! It wouldn't have been if he touched the ground, though!" Midnight announced as Midoriya's team touched down and ran again.
"Thanks, Uraraka!" Midoriya said.
"It's hard to control with just one foot." She said.
"Yeah, I know." He said before thinking again. "Landing like this is inefficient... We can't run to the air anymore. We'll have to survive this with our increased mobility from Uraraka's Zero Gravity and work with Tokoyami's Dark Shadow." He thought as they continued to avoid everyone.
"As expected, everyone's after the first place team, and Class A is in hot pursuit! Everyone's got skills! Now, let's take a look at each team's points... It's been several minutes! Here are the current rankings on screen!" He said as the points on the board showed, and Class A students were not doing so well except for Midoriya, you, and a few others from different classes. "What? Wait a minute! Other than Midoriya, Class A isn't doing so well..." Present Mic said as he saw Bakugo's team at zero points. "Bakugo? What?" He gasped as a student from Class B snatched his head band.
"Class A is too simple-minded." Monoma said while riding away.
"He got us!" Mina said.
"What'd you say, bastard? Give that back! I'll kill you!" Bakugo yelled in anger.
"Since Midnight said it was the first game, it would make sense for them to cut a ton of people in the qualifier, right? Assumming they'd keep about forty people for the next stage, we just made sure we stayed within that number as we ran, observing from the back the quirks and personalities of those who would be our rivals. There's no point in being obsessive over winning in the prelims, right?" Monoma said as Bakugo glared at him.
"You did this as a class?" He asked in rage.
"Well, it wasn't a consensus, but it was a good idea, right? It's better than going after a temporary "top" like a horse with a carrot waving it in front of its face. Oh, while I'm at it, you're famous, aren't you? As the victim of the sludge incident! Tell me about it sometime--About how it feels to be attacked by villains once a year." He taunted Bakugo as he grew a devilish and angry aura.
"Kirishima...change of plan..." Bakugo said as Kirishima turned around and was scared at the sight of his teammate. "Before we get Deku, let's kill all these guys!" He said before another voice chimed in.
"I'm sorry, but if anyone is going to shut up Faggoty Andy here, it's going to be us." Ryu said as you stepped forward towards them.
"Ohh, another hot-shot from Class A I see. Well, I guess we are in a little bit of a pinch, but once we get out, and get enough headbands to secure our spot, then we can talk." Monoma said as Ryu smirked.
"Y/N. Show them what it means to be an elite warrior." He said before you turned towards Midnight.
"Just so you know, what I'm about to do is increase my speed and strength, this is NOT trying to knock down everyone from where they're standing to get their bands. Promise!" You said.
"O-Okay! I'll allow it! Whatever "it" is..." She said.
"You all might wanna hold onto something." You said before clenching your fist tightly. "Gnngh.....Grrrrrrr...Haaaaaaaaaaaa.....!" You began to raise your voice as sparks began to fly around you.

Everyone watched on as sparks began to surge all around you and Ryu. Your eyes were flashing between their dark color and a teel color as your hair began to spike up and flash from black to gold. The stadium began to shake as the clouds above began to darken all over the area. Your muscles were bulging and energy covered your body as Ryu glared down at you.
"Wh-What's going on!?" Midnight yelled before she fell down, along with a few more students.
"Wh-What's he doing?!" Snipe yelled as your dad suddenly stood up with a proud smile.
"That's it Y/N! Show them what it means to be a super saiyan!" He yelled loudly.
"Super saiyan?! What's that!?" All Might asked while holding his seat.
"That's their quirks, Y/N and Ryu. You could say they're almost like blood brothers, the exact same quirks and same limitations that can always be broken! This is their power! Go, Y/N!" He yelled as your eyes shined brightly and lightning struck all around the field, knocking down everyone.
"HAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" You yelled as your power exploded out from you and the ground beneath you rose up and sent debris everywhere, shocking everyone.
The skies cleared as a bright aura encased you and Ryu, before it suddenly disappeared, and a team yelled.
"AHHH! O-Our headbands! B-But who!?" They yelled as more and more screams began to be heard.
A fast moving ball of light was zooming around the field and going pass students, nabbing their headbands occasionally before stopping in front of Monoma's team who was down on the ground in shock. The shining ball of light dimmed down as you walked over to him with Ryu on your shoulders and reached down to grab the headband they took from Bakugo. Monoma curled into a ball as you took the headband and tossed it to Bakugo who stared at you in confusion.
"If you want to know, we want to keep you in the game. You're strong, and I want to see how far you can push me before I crush you." Ryu said while Bakugo scoffed at him.
"I didn't need your help, bastard." He said.
"WHAAAA!? Team Ryu has racked up over 2000 points, putting them in front of team Monoma, and dropping them down to 8th place! What an incredible turn of events! And this power up was allowed, so it's safe for them to continue to do this!" Present Mic said as everyone stared at your team with concern.
"With that power, no one can stop those two..." Momo said in concern.
"Y/N-kun...wow..." Midoriya said in shock.
"Focus. We can't worry about them. There's one target that we need to get before they do. Get to Midoriya, Iida." Todoroki said as Iida snapped back out of space and they started to move towards Midoriya who was running while looking at a downed Class B.
"Class B had a long-term strategy that involved throwing the qualifier, huh? It's true that they could leave a stronger impression by overturning the mood that favored Class A before the sports festival started. But based on their way of thinking, it means they won't necessarily come after me." Midoriya thought as he spoke to his teammates. "Everyone, it'll be easier to run aw--" He was cut off as his teammates slid to a rough stop while coming face to face with Todoroki's team.
"Less than half the time is left now!" Present Mic said as Midoriya took a deep breath.
"It won't be that easy, huh?" Midoriya spoke as he stared down with Todoroki.
"The cavalry battle is about to enter the second half! In this unexpected rise of Class B, and team Y/N's sudden power boost, who will wear the ten million points in the end!?" Present Mic asked as Todoroki glared at Midoriya before speaking up.
"I'll be taking that now." He said, as the cavalry battle has now entered its climatic second half.
