Deepika was walking in the supermarket, to buy some stuff for her new house, where she was living with her new flatmates...
She was going to work under Mr. Joshi's younger brother, Mr. Shyam Joshi, as his assistant...
Her former boss was so impressed by her, that he sent her to assist his younger brother, who was also a lawyer...
She passed through the women's dress section and remembered Ananya, like how they would try like 20 dresses and choose 2 in some expensive boutique...
How Ananya would help her in buying the dresses, that would help her catch Ved's attention...
She fists her hand thinking about Ved, and at the same time her eyes fill with tears, thinking about Ananya...
'I am sorry Annie... ' she mutters wiping her tears and quickly walks away from that section...
While walking swiftly, she collides with a man who was buying something at the stuffed toys section..
'Freak... I am so sorry sir, I... ' She began
'Deepika...?' the man said and Deepika looked up and gasped looking at Aayan who was holding a blue Teddy bear..
'Aayan...! Hi... ' Deepika said
'You live here ? In Bangalore ? What a pleasant surprise... When did you leave Delhi...?' Aayan asked glancing at her bag, which had groceries
Deepika looked at him bewildered, and then realized, of course he doesn't know what happened between her and Ved two years ago...
'Yeah I got a job here... I live in Indira nagar... ' she said
'That's nice, I live in Kormangala...' He said
'Of course you do...' Deepika muttered learning that he lives in the posh area of the city
'I have my office there... ' Deepika said
'Really...? Where do you work...?' He asked
'I am the assistant to Mr. Shyam Joshi, he is a lawyer... ' Deepika said
Aayan looked at her shocked..
'He is the legal advisor in my company, AV technologies.... ' he said and it was Deepika's turn to look at him startled
'Oh my god... You are our weird boss who doesn't allow women to work on his floor...?' she exclaimed
'Yeah... ' Aayan said trying to avoid the topic
'Well I am not surprised, after all you are Aayan... You can do anything.. ' Deepika commented
'That sounds like a taunt to me... ' He said
'You expect me to be pleased with you, after what you did to my Ananya...?' She spat angrily
'See I am in a very happy mood right now, don't spoil it by mentioning her...' Aayan said, searching for more toys
'Such a heartless man you are Aayan... You know she... ' Deepika retorted angrily but stopped in between
Damn, I was about to say it she thought
'She...?' Aayan raised his brows
'She changed after you left, I don't know what you said to her while leaving, but it certainly had a bad impact on her, it's like she stopped enjoying her life, turned into a robot...' Deepika said angrily
Aayan felt bad, after listening to this, but he was not going to let his emotions overpower his anger on her
'I did not say anything to her, she is anyway a drama queen, she would've forgotten about it in a month, and now living normal and happy... With her family... I am sure about it... ' he retorted
'I don't know how she is...' Deepika said in a low voice
'What..' Aayan asked
'Nothing...' Deepika dismissed the topic
'How do you not know, how is she is... You guys are besties...' Aayan was confused now
'I haven't talked to her, since 2 years.. ' Deepika said her voice cracking
'WHATTT.... ' Aayan exclaimed shocked..
'Yeah... ' Deepika wiped her tears..
I don't know how will I survive, if Deepika leaves me... He recalled Ananya's words..
He wasn't able to comprehend how, but this actually made him feel bad for her... Hard feelings aside, Deepika was pretty important person in Ananya's life and if she didn't talk to her, since years, how is she living with it...
'But... You guys were... How...?' Aayan asked
Deepika's expression changed from sad to angry, she glared at him and said
'Why don't you ask your best friend about this...?' she spat
Aayan got more confused at this...
'How does Ved have to do anything with this....?' he asked
'He doesn't tell you everything, right ? Go ask him, why did Ananya and Vansh left Thapar mansion and are living in Mumbai...?' She glared at him
'Oh my god... ' Aayan muttered shocked beyond his limit
'I had no idea... ' He said
'You live in your own world Aayan Varma, you don't even care about people around you... After hurting a girl, you are living here happily and shopping here for some teddy bear ? Are you even real... ?' Deepika taunted him
'It's for my daughter... ' Aayan said and it was Deepika's turn to get shocked
'Whattt.... ' Deepika exclaimed
'You got married...?' she asked
Aayan didn't reply at this, just looked away...
'Oh my god, Ananya will be so heart broken... ' Deepika muttered in a very low voice, making sure Aayan doesn't hear it
'Does everyone know that you got married...?' Deepika asked and Aayan nods in negative
'Not even Jai uncle and Naina aunty...?' She asked further
'No... ' Aayan said
'God..! You are unbelievable... ' Deepika exclaimed irritated
Aayan looked at her confused, that why is she reacting like this, what's wrong if he is married...?
Just then a man approached them and put his hands on Deepika's shoulder...
'Deepika, shall we leave...?' he asked and Aayan looked at the man bewildered
'Yeah 2 mins... ' she said to the man and he smiled and walked away
Before Aayan could say anything, Deepika spoke...
'You know what...! It was nice to meet you, I really hope not to see you again... ' she said
'But you work in my company... ' Aayan reasoned
'Yeah, but not on your floor, thankfully... ' She said and turned around to leave, but again turned back...
'Please ask this to your wife, on my behalf...' she said
Aayan raised his brows at her
'What was she thinking...!!' Deepika exclaimed and then walked away from him
'Best friends for real... ' Aayan muttered and continued his work

Ananya was walking towards the bus stand, from the court...
She and her boss just finished with a divorce case, and Ananya was already having a headache listening to the rant between the couple in the court room
'Do all married couples fight like this...? Thank god, Maa and Paa are not like them... ' she sighed
'Ananya... ' her colleague Parth called from behind
'Hey Parth... What's up...?' Ananya tried to sound cheerful, but she was not
'Umm.. You forgot this in the court room... ' he said handing her the scarf
'Thanks buddy... Ok... I'll see you at the office tomorrow... ' she said and walked further
'Ananya...! I wanted to ask, whether are you free today evening...?' he asked

'Actually Parth, I really need to be at Vansh Bhai's studio today, it's his first day of the shoot... So sorry... I am not free... ' she smiled at him

While walking towards the bus stand, she collides with a tall man, dressed in a suit and was about to fall...
The man caught her, and helped her stand..
'I am really sorry miss, I was in a hurry... ' he said
'It's okay sir... ' Ananya adjusted her jacket and looked up at the man and he looked familiar
'Are you...?' both of them said together and then smiled
'You go first...' the man said to Ananya
'Are you Aayan's step brother...?' she asked
'Yeah... I am Sameer.. ' The man smiled
'And you are Ved's sister right...?' Sameer asked
'Yeah... I am Ananya... ' She said forwarding his hand for a handshake
'Nice to meet you Ananya...' Sameer shakes her hands
'I wasn't expecting you to be here... ' Sameer said
'Well, me and Vansh Bhai are living here from 2 years... ' Ananya said
'That's really awesome...! So you study here...?' Sameer asked
'No... Actually I work here as Mr. Thadani's assistant, he is a famous lawyer here... ' Ananya smiled
'Really...? He is defending our Pali Hill's case...!' Sameer said
'Ooo... So you are the businessman from Delhi... On whose case sir we will start working from tomorrow... ' Ananya said remembering her boss's words
'That's a nice coincidence I must say...' Sameer smiled
'Yeah... ' Ananya said
'You were going somewhere...?' he looked around
'Yeah, I need to reach the film city before 5...it's Bhai's first shoot today...' Ananya said glancing at her watch
'I can drop you there... ' Sameer said
'Oh.. No you don't have to... I'll take the bus... ' Ananya politely said
'Please.. I insist... That way I can meet Vansh too... I haven't really met him ever, but heard a lot about him from Ved... ' Sameer said
'Bhai will be pleased to meet you... ' Ananya said
'Shall we...?' Sameer moves forward and opens the passenger seat of his car for Ananya

He gets on the driver's seat and they drive towards the film city...

Sameer drives inside the film city and Ananya was telling him about Vansh's work...
They chatted all the way, from the High court to the Film city, talking about various things...
'There it is... ' Ananya showed him the studio with 'V-Square Productions' banner
'What does V square, stand for...?' Sameer asked
'It's Vansh and Vikrant... I told you about Bhai and his best friend Vikrant Bhai being partners, right...?' Ananya said
'No, but now I know.... ' Sameer smiled and parked the car near the studio
They got out of the car, and found Vansh and Vikrant standing outside the studio discussing about something, when Vansh spotted Ananya and Sameer walking towards them
'There you are... I thought you won't make it... ' Vansh exclaimed and hugged Ananya, kissing her head..
'How could I miss your first shoot... ' Ananya smiled
'Who's that dude...?' Vikrant asked pointing at Sameer
'Oh That's Sameer, Sameer Singhal... ' Ananya said
Vansh looked at her shocked...
'Sameer as in Aayan's step brother Sameer....?' he asked
'Yeah... ' Ananya said
'How do you know him...?' Vansh asked
'My boss is defending his land case, I met him outside the court today... ' Ananya said
Vansh walked towards Sameer and gestured his hand forward
'Hey I am Vansh, Vansh Thapar....' He said
'Hii... I have heard a lot about you from Ved, I am Sameer Singhal... ' Sameer shook his hands
'Same... I am assuming that you are the good one, Ved mentioned about... ' Vansh looked at him suspiciously
'Well it depends on what he said about me... ' Sameer chuckled
'Yeah you are definitely the good one... ' Vansh smiled and hit Sameer on shoulders playfully and he laughs
'No offense, but your younger brother is an asshole... He put Aayan in a great trouble last time... ' Vansh said
Sameer smiled 'Well, He can be a hard person to deal with... But he is good at heart.... ' He said
'Oh my, he is Ved part 2, nice to meet you... ' Vansh commented and they laughed
'Bro let's go inside, everyone is ready...' Vikrant called them
'I'll see you guys later... It was nice meeting you Vansh... ' Sameer smiled
'Wooaahh... Where are you going...?!' Vansh asked
'To my hotel I guess... ' Sameer said
'Why don't you come inside with us... ' Ananya suggested
'Is that fine with you...?' Sameer asked Vansh
'Absolutely... Are you a Ranveer Singh fan...?' Vansh asked
'Hell yeah...!' Sameer exclaimed
'Then you won't be disappointed inside... Come... ' Vansh said dragging Sameer inside and Ananya followed them...
