Next Day...
Ananya's POV
'Good morning Ananya... ' He called in his mesmerising voice, gently shaking me...
I hugged my teddy tightly, snuggling myself into him and groaned
'Please 5 more minutes... '
'It's already late Ananya, get up please... ' he tried to pull away my teddy
'5 minutes Aayan...' I say and pull the duvet over my face
There was silence...
'How do you know it's me...?' he asked with a hint of surprise in his voice
WHAT...!!!
THIS MEANS IT'S NOT A DREAM...!!
My eyes flutter open and I curse myself
Now he will know that I get his dreams...
Damn it...
Before I could do anything, the duvet was pulled off me and I felt the cold air on my feet...
I quickly sprang up from my sleeping position, and cover my legs as I was in shorts and I was uncomfortable of him seeing me wearing it...
It's not like he never saw me in shorts, but I don't know why his gaze make me uncomfortable, not in a bad way ofcourse... More like shy...
'I am up... ' I say, not looking at him
He didn't reply, which made me curious...
'What happened...?' I look up to him and he was staring at me with his hazel green eyes, which were captivating...
'You are a weirdo... ' he says
I glare at him, 'Thank you... What did I do to get such a nice compliment... '
'Who sleeps in shorts in this chilling winter...' He comments..
'Who works out wearing thin vests in this winter... ' I shot back...
He opens his mouth to argue back, but then closes it...
'Yeah whatever... ' he says rolling his eyes
'How do you know, it was me who woke you up...?' He asked
Damn it..
'I saw you entering my room... ' I lied
'But your eyes were closed... ' He said giving me a suspicious look
'No I was awake when you came inside, I just didn't want to get out of the bed... ' I said hugging my teddy
He didn't seem to buy the reason, but didn't say anything
There was awkward silence, with him thinking about something, and me trying to lie down again...
I want to sleep more...
It's only 8...
I can take a quick nap for 10 mins...
When I was slowly lying down on my comfortable bed, he caught me by my arm, shaking me vigorously...
'No more sleeping... ' he said
Arrrghhh...
Why is he so mean...
'How come you are waking me up today....?' I ask him irritated
'Mom asked Ved to wake you up, but he was busy, so he asked me to do it...Now come on... Leave the bed... ' he said again pulling my duvet
I pulled it back, covering my legs
'Why are you getting uncomfortable, it's not like I haven't seen you in these.. ' He says leaving the duvet
'Yeah but... ' I look away
'See.. I'll close my eyes or look at the other side, if you want, but get up... Mom called you twice... If you don't want her to come and wake you up, leave that bed... ' he says closing his eyes
Such a gentleman...
'It's okay.. Don't close it... ' I say and leave my bed
'What happened to Ved bhai...?' I ask as he turned around to leave
'I really don't know, he is behaving weirdly from last night... ' Aayan says
Yesssss....
The plan is working...
Yesterday Deeps told me everything on the phone, I always knew pitching Vansh Bhai in would be a great idea...
I smile and Aayan looks at me confused...
'Why are you smiling...?' he asked
'Because I know what happened to him...' I grin
'What...?' he asked
Should I tell him...?
What if he says it to Ved bhai...
'I won't say anything to Ved.... ' Aayan said
Wow.. Mind reader...
'Not really, but your face expressions are easy to read...' he laughed
Now that was creepy..
'I know...' he laughed
'Stop doing that... ' I say freaking out
'Okay... ' He raises his hands
'Tell me na.. ' he coaxed further
'Bhai is jealous... ' I grinned
'What...! Why...? With whom...?' he shot questions at me
I told him yesterday's incident, and also everything about Deepika's crush on Bhai, and Bhai's ignorance and Vansh Bhai helping us
He excitedly listened to it, I could tell from his face that he was enjoying this gossip..
'Wow...!' he exclaimed sitting on my bed
'Can I pitch in...?' He asked
'You...? Why would you...?' I asked but he cut me off in between
'See I really don't have anything to do here and I am stuck here all thanks to you for another week... Plus it's for Ved, I would like to see him with someone... Deepika seems a nice girl, so why not...!' he said

'Welcome Aboard... ' I gesture my hand forward and he shakes it
Breakfast table
Vansh, Aayan, Saanjh and Viraj were talking among themselves, while waiting for others
Vansh and Aayan sat in opposite directions, and conversing or more like planning something secret..
Rudra joins them, and Sayesha follows him..
'Wow secret plan...? Me too...!' Rudra says excitedly
'No kids..!' Vansh says sticking his tongue out at him and Viraj frowns
'Hey I am 19 ! I am a grown up man... ' Rudra argues
'Really, then behave like one... ' Ved says, sitting beside Aayan, who winks at Vansh
'Something fishy is going on between these two... ' Viraj says and Aayan hits him playfully
Ved doesn't say anything, and starts reading the newspaper...
Ananya joins them and greets everyone, everyone greets back including Aayan
Everyone looked at him shocked when he did that, at which he smiled uncomfortably and so did Ananya
'Pinch me Kitty... I think I am dreaming... Ananya Di and Aayan Bhai said 'Good morning' to each other... That's a miracle... ' Rudra said and Sayesha pinched him for real
'Ouch... Mad girl...! I didn't mean it literally... ' Rudra cries rubbing his palm, where Sayesha pinched him
'Di are you okay... ?' Saanjh said touching Ananya's forehead and Ananya sighed
'I think Aayan has fever... ' Ved said touching Aayan's forehead and he frowned
'Shut up all of you... Can't we talk to each other like normal people... ' Ananya said irritated
'No...! ' Viraj exclaims
'Read your paper... ' Ananya scolds him and he chuckles
Vansh looks at his phone and smiles
'Ooooo Bhai...! Smiley smiley... Who are you texting...?' Ananya teased Vansh and Aayan got the signal to play along
He peeks at Vansh's phone across the table
'It's Deepika... ' Aayan said a bit louder
Ved looks up from the newspaper, and Ananya - Aayan smirk
Vansh looks at them and says
'What..? She sent me a joke...!'
'Haww, she didn't even send me a good morning text... And here she is sending you jokes... ' Ananya whines and Ved's grip on the paper tightens
Vansh smiles at this and peeks at Ved's direction who pretended to read the paper, but he was actually fuming inside
'Heyyy ! No need to tell her to wish me good morning.... ' Ananya complains to Vansh
Ved takes a deep breath and continues to read the paper
'Why did you two left the party yesterday...?' Saanjh asks
'Haww.... When...?' Kitty asked
'We were bored... So we left... It was fun talking to her... ' Vansh shrugs his shoulders and then smiled
'Ahaaaannn... Just talking.... ' Rudra smirked
'Shut up Rudra... ' Ved scolds him and Rudra frowns
'Yes Rudy Boyy... Only talks, unlike you... You want me to tell chachu what I know... ' Vansh smirks at him and Rudra panics and nods negative
'I like Deepika Di... She is very sweet, yesterday she even helped us in making the cake... Unlike Shanaya Di, who was just ordering around, like it was her house...' Saanjh said with scowl on her face
'She even helped us in planning the surprise... Which kitty ruined ofcourse... ' Viraj said
'Heyyy I said sorry... ' Sayesha whines
'Yeah... Deepika is... *looks at Ved* Nice... ' Vansh smiles and Ved frowns
'Seriously dude... Deepika...?' Aayan asked Vansh
'What's wrong with her...?' Vansh raised his brows to show fake anger (as they planned earlier..) and now Ved's attention was on Aayan as well
'Woahhh... No need to get aggressive... I was just saying you both don't fit together... ' Aayan raised his hands in defence
'I think they perfectly fit together... ' Ananya grins and Vansh sends her a text
'Jyada ho gaya... Overacting mat kar... ' at which she frowns
'Oooooooo.... Perfectly fit.... ' All of her cousins hooted
'Why don't you eat your breakfast and leave for your colleges... ' Ved scolds his cousins
'Where is the breakfast...?' Rudra asks showing the empty table
'Bhai.. Today is Saturday, we have a holiday... ' Sayesha informs Ved
'Bro are you okay...? You look disturbed from last night... ' Vansh asks Ved
Ved just huffs 'I.. I am just worried about the new project... ' he says without looking at Vansh
'Okay....' Vansh says
'We are meeting at the CP in the evening today, right ?' Aayan asks Vansh
'Yeah... ' Vansh says
'Why so...?' Ved asks
'To get a new phone for him, also check on my old one at the repair store, because I really need the data to be retrieved, it's important...' Aayan replied
'Bhai..! Can we come...?' Ananya asks excitedly
'We...?' Vansh asks
'Me and Deeps of course... We won't disturb you, I promise... Let us come please pretty please... ' Ananya pleads
'Sure... ' Vansh says smiling
'Ooooo Blushing.... ' Sayesha and Saanjh tease Vansh
'Ooo... C'mon... She is just my friend....' Vansh says acting shy
Ved seems to be fighting hard not to snap at anyone, finally lost his patience
'You won't go anywhere with them Annie...! Don't you have exams...?' Ved snaps at her
'But bhai, we just begun with our semesters... We don't have exams immediately....' Ananya said innocently
'Still you won't go anywhere... Understand...?' Ved scolds her and everyone looks at Ved shocked, except Aayan and Vansh who smirk
Ananya looks down, pretending to be hurt, but doing a happy dance inside..
'Okay Bhai...' She says
Naina and her 2 helpers come out with everyone's breakfast
'Good morning Maa... ' Vansh hugs her
'Good morning Baby.. Someone is in a very good mood today....' Naina kisses his head
'Of course Badi Maa, afterall someone special texted him... ' Viraj smirks and Vansh gives him a warning look
'Is it bacche..? I would like to meet her soon... Hopefully it's 'her'....' Naina teases him and everyone starts laughing except Ved
'Why can't we talk about something else... ' he mutters drinking his coffee and Aayan hears that and gave a thumbs up to Vansh and Ananya
'Ooo c'mon Maa.. I'll date a girl only... Unlike your other son, I am telling you Maa, start considering Aayan as your daughter in law... ' Vansh teases Ved
'Aww Mummyji... ' Aayan hugs Naina and everyone laughs again
Ved glares at Vansh...
'Very Funny... ' he says angrily
'Ooo c'mon beta, your brother is just teasing you.... Don't get annoyed...' Naina ruffles Ved's hair and he sighs
'Exactly, that is only thing your brother is good at Ved, let him do that... ' Arjun comments taking his seat
There was pin drop silence at the dining table now...
Vansh and Arjun stare at each other briefly, and Arjun shakes his head in disappointment, while looking away
Vansh's anger escalates at this, he looks away from his father
Everyone sensed the tension between the father - son, and the jolly environment was now transformed into a serious one
Bhai are you okay....? Ananya texts him, and he just nods
Soon Adi, Sash, Jai join them and everyone eats their breakfast silently
'Vansh why aren't you eating anything...?' Naina asks
Vansh gets up from his seat, 'I am done Maa... ' he said picking his phone
'But you didn't eat anything kid... ' Adi says
'I will have something at my office chachu... '
'Vansh... ' Naina tries to stop him
'Please Maa, let me go before someone says that I am not worthy enough to sit and have breakfast with Ved... ' Vansh says looking at Arjun and walks away
Ved looks at Vansh confused and Arjun sighs
'What did you do...?' Naina glares at Arjun
'I just told him the truth... ' Arjun says getting up
'Arjun, why do you always.... ' Naina begins angrily but Arjun cut her off in between...
'I am done with my breakfast, see you guys in the office... ' Arjun says and leaves the table, without touching the food...
Naina sighs, and Aayan holds her hands assuring her that everything will be okay...
Ananya feels bad for her brother, and her father..
Yes...! It was another 'normal' breakfast time for the Thapars...
