He takes deep breath, to stop tears from falling, he was hurt by his father's remark...

He remembers his words and grabs his sports trophy from the shelf, and throws it angrily on the floor, smashing it into pieces
He feels little better after this...
He winces seeing the pieces on the floor and walks out to his room's balcony to get some fresh air...
He stares at the stars twinkling in the sky, it was luckily a clear night, he like his mother, loved to find happiness in small things
His anger was also like Arjun, spontaneous and short lived...
Maybe he is still angry that I didn't join E market... He'll be fine one day...
He closed his eyes and felt the cold breeze on his face, which was also calming him down..
He relaxed a bit, and was about to go inside his room, when he heard muffled sobs, from Ananya's room, which was adjacent to his room
He peeked from his balcony to Ananya's balcony, and saw Deepika crying...
She was sitting on the floor, staring at the sky and tears were rolling down..
Vansh jumped from his balcony to Ananya's tapping his feet loudly to make his presence known
Deepika is startled by the sound and quickly wipes her tears and looks around to find the source of the noise
She looks at Vansh, and gets scared thinking him as Ved
'Wo Ved... ' She tries to stand
'Relax... I am not Vediiee Boooo...' Vansh says making her sit and she chuckles
Deepika looks at him and realises that Ved was wearing a suit, whereas Vansh was in casuals, so the twin sitting beside her is indeed Vansh
Vansh makes himself comfortable on the floor, stretching his legs and hands and then turns to Deepika..
'Sooo... Deepika...! What's up...?' he asks
'No... Nothing...Actually I was tired after that decorations and stuff so just wanted to rest for sometime... ' she fakes a smile
'Hmm... Since when resting meant crying for your crush... ' Vansh says casually looking at the stars
'What...! I wasn't crying..! What crush... It's nothing... ' Deepika stammers
'I thought crying for your man is old school... But Wow... This still exists...! You know you can always swipe right... ' Vansh winks
'I am not crying for anyone Vansh... What are you saying... ' Deepika looks away
'I know you have a crush on Ved since your 10th grade....' Vansh says yawning
Deepika's eyes widened, she stared at him shocked, her mouth open
'Close it or a fly will get inside... ' Vansh chuckles
'Crush on Ved..! What are you saying..! I don't have any crush on...on... anyone... You are being paranoid... ' Deepika says getting uncomfortable
'Oo... Cut it out already...! Everyone knows about it...!' Vansh says
'What...! Oh my god everyone ? You mean Uncle, Aunty, You, Kitty, Rudra...? *Gasps* Does Ved know...? Oh My God ! How will I face him...?' Deepika asks panicked
Vansh started laughing and then playfully hits Deepika on her shoulders....
'Well not everyone, only Me and Annie, maybe Aayan as well... But your blabbering confirms my suspicion... You do like my brother... ' He smirks at her
Deepika gets embarrassed and looks away...
'Don't worry Kid ! Your secret was safe with me, all these years, so it will be now as well... ' he grins
Deepika sighs and Mutters a low 'Thanks'
'Well it doesn't matter now...! Nothing will happen between us... Ved likes Shanaya...' Deepika chuckles sadly
'I hope that's not true... ' Vansh sighs 'I won't call that ogre, Bhabhi... Eww.... ' he frowns
'But I guess you have to... ' Deepika sighs wiping her tear away
'Eww... It actually feels gross to cry for a guy....!' Deepika whines and Vansh laughs at this
They were quiet for sometimes, thinking about their respective lives when Vansh says out of blue
'Do you believe in fate...?' Vansh says without looking at Deepika
'Huh... What fate...?' she asks him bewildered
'I think Ved is meant to be with someone like you.. ' Vansh says
'What are you saying...?' she was curious now
'That guy is single from 25 years... If he waited this long, that better be worth it... ' Vansh said
'I don't understand anything Vansh.. ' Deepika said getting impatient
Vansh takes a deep breath
'Tell me Deepika...! Do you fall for every man you come across in your day to day life...? ' he asks
'Of course not... ' Deepika counters
'When did you see Ved for the first time...?' he asked
'Grade 10th, when he returned from the boarding school... ' Deepika said
'Did you fell in love with him immediately...?' he asked further
'Uh... Yes... ' she replied looking down
'After him, did you ever feel the same way for any man...?' He asked further
'No...'
'That's it ! Your fate wanted you to fall for Ved... ' he grinned
'I still Don't understand...' Deepika was really confused now

'It's hard to explain Deepika, but I really think that you and Ved are meant to be together... Many girls hit on him, but the way he looks at you, it's different... I haven't seen him giving a shit about any girl, who is like a 100 times hotter... But only you..' Vansh said
'Heyy... ' Deepika hits him
'It's too cliche, I know... But this is what it is...' He chuckled, ruffling her hair
'I guess I am late now, because Shanaya already... ' Deepika begins but Vansh cuts her off
'Ved will not fall for her, he likes you and I will help you in making him realise that... ' Vansh grinned
'What...! Really...?' Deepika asks excitedly
Vansh gets up and pulls her up as well
'I Promise...' he grins 'But you answer my question Deepika... ' he gets serious and Deepika gulps
'Do you really like my brother for who he is or it's because he is Ved Thapar, the heir of E market...?' he asked
Deepika smiles 'When I fell in love with him, he was a brat for everyone and practically had nothing... My love and respect only increased for him in all these years... I am so proud to see how he transformed himself into a responsible man... Even if he leaves everything, I will still be with him... I love him with every bit of my heart... ' she said
Vansh stared at her briefly for few minutes and then smiled
'Okay then... Mission wooing Ved begins... ' Vansh grinned
'Ved doesn't care about outer beauty... He isn't impressed by dresses and Makeup... I tried it... ' Deepika sighs
'Wow, how long have you been trying...?' Vansh chuckles
'Since Grade 12...' She said
'Wow that's 5 long years... Itne me to mai maan gaya hota... ' He laughed and Deepika hits him
'Your brother is an idiot... How can he not notice...!' She chuckles
'Family trait... ' Vansh comments and Deepika laughs
'Vansh...? Why are you helping me...?' Deepika asks
'Because I want my brother to be happy, and I was convinced a few minutes back that you are just right for him, someone who loves him more than anything else... Annie was right... ' he grins
'There may be few girls out there, who admire him though...' Deepika chuckles
'True, but none of them understand the Real Ved... ' Vansh said and Deepika smiles
'Ved and I always shared everything Deepika, since our existence, but we were separated when Ved was sent to the boarding school... Here I had Maa, Papa, Chachu.. Everyone... But Ved, he didn't have anyone there except Aayan... And Aayan has his own shares of problems which Ved tends to solve... But what about his own problems, insecurities...? Ved has no one to share or solve or atleast listen to his problems....! He won't come to me... We lived away from each other for 7 years, it's kinda awkward now... '
Vansh said staring at the empty space
'Wow.. I didn't know that... ' Deepika says
'I feel you can be his support, don't disappoint me Deepika...! You promise...?' Vansh asks
'Cross my heart... ' Deepika replied smiling
'Also, I'll get another sister to have fun with, Annie is a brat sometimes... ' Vansh chuckles and Deepika smiles
'Thank you Vansh... ' Deepika hugs him
'Anything for my favorite Bhabhi... ' he hugs her back and she hits him
'Hey do you like someone...? Maybe I'll set you up with her... ' Deepika says excitedly
'You ! Will help me ? To get a girl...! Please... Help yourself first...! My charm is enough to woo any girl... ' He says smirking
Deepika hits Vansh and they both laugh
'You look horrible when you cry... ' Vansh comments
'Shut up... ' Deepika huffs
'So how do we begin...?' She asks further
'Let's pitch Annie in... It was her idea anyway... ' Vansh grins
'That would be so much fun... ' Deepika exclaims and they high five each other
'What are you two doing here...?' They hear Ved from behind
Startled they turn around and Vansh gestures her to keep quiet...
'We... Uh... ' Deepika stammers looking at Vansh for help
'We got bored of the party downstairs, so came up here... Right Deepika...?' Vansh said
'Right...!' Deepika smiles
'Dinner is ready... Maa was searching for you two... ' Ved said eyeing both of them
'Yeah we will be downstairs in 5 minutes... ' Vansh says
'Why not now...?' Ved raises his brows at them
'I wanted to tell Deepika something...' He said and Deepika looks at him questioningly
Vansh hits her leg with his to play along
'Oww.... Yeah.... Yeah he was telling me about... About... *looks at Vansh* Cameras...Mobile cameras.... ' Deepika stammers
Vansh sighed and mentally facepalmed himself
'You don't know how to use a phone camera Deepika...?' Ved looks at her surprised
'Uh.. I... ' Deepika looks at Vansh for help
'I'll tell you later... ' Vansh said trying to shut the topic and Ved looks both of them suspiciously
Vansh climbs the railing to jump into his balcony....
'What are you doing...?' Deepika asks scared
'Going downstairs by staircases... Too old fashioned, Vansh likes pipes... ' Vansh smirks after jumping into his balcony and Ved chuckles
'Wanna try...?' Vansh asks gesturing his hand forward and Ved looks at him shocked
'Yeah... ' Deepika says excitedly, and tries to climb the railings
Ved grabs her hands and pulls her back...
'We'll go downstairs like normal people... ' Ved says dragging Deepika along with him and Vansh winked at her
'Laters Baby... ' Vansh says loudly for Ved to hear and smirks while going inside his room
Ved looks at Deepika questioningly who just smiles and frees herself from Ved's hold and walks ahead of him
While Ved just stares at her and also at Vansh's balcony's direction...
'Come on Ved... ' She says
'Yeah... ' He says and quietly follows her downstairs
