Everyone was busy in preparing for the celebration of the respective successes of the elder sons of the family...
Naina and Riya were busy in preparing Ved and Vansh's favorite food...
Sayesha and Saanjh were making cake for them..
Ananya and Deepika were incharge for the decoration of the house
Viraj and Rudra were helping others to run errands and also were planning some surprise for their older brothers
Jai was resting in his room, whereas Shanaya was sitting in the living room
'Ananya please pass that blue ribbon..' Deepika asks climbing the ladder, to decorate the entrance
'Yeah here.... But be careful Deeps....' Ananya says handing her the ribbon
'What flowers do we use...?' Ananya asks holding a Yellow tulip and a White rose..
'I guess Yellow tulips would be better, Ved doesn't like roses... ' Deepika says absentmindedly while fixing the ribbon above the door
Ananya smirks at her and after realizing what she said Deepika immediately gets down the ladder and takes the flowers from Ananya's hands
'I mean, boys don't like these roses and stuff, they think it's feminine, I think both Ved and Vansh will appreciate Tulips...' she says without looking at Ananya
'Yeah yeah.. I understood very well what you meant Bhabhiji... ' Ananya teases her and Deepika frowns at this
'What happened... No blushing today....?' Ananya asks
'I don't think anything will happen between Me and Ved... ' Deepika sighs
'What...! Why...?' Ananya asks bewildered
'I just know....' Deepika says picking up pack of balloons
Ananya snatches the pack from Deepika and hands it to the servant..
'Please inflate them, Bhaiyya... ' she says and the servant nods
'You tell me what's the matter...? Why are you suddenly so negative about you and Bhai... ' She asks Deepika
'I think Ved likes Shanaya... ' Deepika says in a low voice
'Whattt...!' Ananya exclaims
Deepika sighed and narrated her encounter with Shanaya and Also Ved's reaction
Ananya gets annoyed at this
'How can she behave with you like that...! Let me talk to her... ' she says angrily
'Ananya please... Everyone is happy and are in a celebration mode, I don't want to ruin that... ' Deepika stops her
'But... '
'Please for me....?' Deepika pleads
'Okay... But next time, she won't be spared... ' Ananya sighs
'Thank you... ' Deepika hugs her and Ananya chuckles
'I wonder what's wrong with Ved Bhai's friends, why are they so weird...!' Ananya frowns and Deepika chuckles at this
'Come let's go for living room's decoration... ' Deepika drags Ananya inside
'I asked for sugar free orange juice ! What is this... ' They hear Shanaya scolding a servant
'But Ma'am there is no sugar in it... ' the servant replies politely
'Really, then why is it sweet...!' She argues with him
'Maybe because of the fruit Ma'am... ' the servant replies
'Don't act smart with me, I know how to deal with useless servants like you...' Shanaya shouts getting up and the servant gets scared
Naina intervenes in between
'What happened beta...?' She asks Shanaya
'Aunty this guy purposely made my juice sweet... Although I specifically instructed him not to do so... He wants to ruin my diet... ' Shanaya whines
'But Ma'am... I... ' The servant tries to defend himself
'It's okay Shyam, go get another juice for madam and make sure it's not very sweet... ' Naina smiles kindly at the servant
He nods and walks away from there and Naina turns to Shanaya
'He will get another juice for you beta, meanwhile why don't you help Ananya and Deepika in the decorations... ' Naina says to Shanaya
Ananya and Deepika give a warning look to Naina from Shanaya's behind pleading her not to do that..
'Uh.. Aunty actually my leg hurts a lot, so unfortunately I won't be able to climb those ladders and do the task.. ' Shanaya says sweetly
Deepika and Ananya raise their brows and Naina tries not to smile looking at their reaction
'But I can supervise their work... ' Shanaya says excitedly
'No thanks... ' Ananya says and Shanaya frowns
'Ananya beta, let her help you...' Naina says
'Whatever... ' Ananya rolls her eyes
Naina leaves the room, and Ananya - Deepika resume their work, while Shanaya makes herself comfortable on the sofa watching them
'Deepika Madam, should I use Blue or Green...?' The helper asks Deepika showing her the Velvet cloth
'Umm Blue... ' Deepika says
'No.. Not Blue, Ved hates blue, go for green... He likes green... ' Shanaya intervenes in between
'How do you know he likes Green...?' Deepika asks Shanaya, crossing her hands near her chest
'Because I like Green, also me and Ved have similar choices, so if I like Green, he likes Green... Duh...!' Shanaya replies arrogantly
'We'll go for Blue... ' Ananya comes in between and orders the helper to use Blue at which Shanaya glares at her
'You don't know anything about your brother's choices... ' she says
'I know everything about my brother, what he likes, how he lives and also who he likes... ' Ananya counters looking at Deepika
'And Di, we are incharge of the decorations here, you just have to "Supervise" not decide... ' She smiles at Shanaya who huffs
Soon they got themselves busy in the decorations and other works ignoring Shanaya and after about 2 hours, they finished with their work
Ananya and Deepika glanced at the room for one last time
'I hope they like it... ' Deepika says
'Of course they will.. Afterall you decided the theme.... ' Ananya grinned
'We decided the theme... ' Deepika says putting an arm around Ananya
'Come on let's get ready, Chachu called informing that they already left the office and also, Vansh Bhai is on his way... ' Ananya informs
'Yeah.. Let's go... ' Deepika says excitedly and they go to Ananya's room
Half n hour later
The twins walked inside the living room, and were bewildered to see that the lights were not working..
'Vansh, check the main board, I'll check the switches... ' Ved says
'Yeah... I think there is some... ' Vansh begins but soon the lights are switched on and they are surprised to see their house decorated with blue and white velvety ribbons along with yellow tulip flowers and fairy lights
Their living room looked so lively and colorful that they were awestruck
'Congratulations....!' Their siblings cheered startling both of them
They looked at their direction to see their family smiling at them, soon they were joined by Arjun, Aayan, Adi and Sash
Their siblings run towards them and hug them tightly
'Congratulations Ved Bhai... Vansh Bhai... ' Ananya hugs both of them together and they hug her back
'Thanks Annie...' they smile
'My super bros... ' Rudra and Viraj jump on them
'Bhai ! We made cake for you... ' Sayesha says excitedly..
'Kitty...!' Her siblings scold her
'What...?' she asks looking at them bewildered
'Was that the surprise...?' She asks innocently
'Yess..!' Viraj exclaims
'Haww... I thought the Red BMW in the garage is their surprise... ' She says
'KITTY...!' They all whine together
'Oops... Sorry... ' Sayesha covers her mouth and they glare at her
'Thank you kitty... ' Ved hugs her
'It's okay, you didn't ruin the surprise... See we are surprised... ' Vansh says acting surprised...
They all laugh at his antiques
The twins walk towards their mother and bend to take her blessing
She stops them mid way and hugs both of them tightly
'I am so proud of you my boys... Congratulations... May you succeed in all your future endeavors... ' she kisses their foreheads one by one
'Thank you Maa... ' Both of them say together
The twins take the blessings from all the elders in the house
'Look at you both... I still can't believe you guys are grown up ! It feels like yesterday, when we held you for the first time, remember Arjun...? Me holding Ved and you carrying Vansh for the first time... ' Jai says teary eyed
And Arjun smiled at this
'Aww.. Bade Papa... No more tears... ' Vansh hugs Jai and Ved joins them
Aayan was standing away from everyone, awfully silent, thinking about something...
'Are you okay son...?' Naina holds his arm
He is startled, but then composes himself
'Yes Mom.. I am fine... ' Aayan smiles
'You sure...?' Naina asks further
'Yes... ' he fakes a smile
'Then why are you standing away from everyone...? Come join us... ' Naina grabs his arm and drags him towards everyone
Deepika hesitantly walks towards Ved
'Uh.. Congratulations Ved... ' she smiles
'Thank you... Deepi... ' Ved says but is cut off by Shanaya who hugs him from back
Ved stiffens and Deepika looks at them astonished
'Veddiieeee.... My bestieeee.....!!! Congratulations....!' She screams in her screechy voice
Ved gets out of her hold and turns towards her, ignoring Deepika who looks hurt...
'Thank you Shanaya...' He smiles, trying to get out of her hold, but she clings to him more
Deepika slowly takes a step back moving away from them, trying to control her tears, when she bumps into someone...
She quickly wipes the tears that were formed and looks up to see Vansh who first glanced at her and then at Ved and Shanaya and shakes his head disapprovingly
'Congrats Vansh... ' Deepika smiles diverting his attention
He stares at her briefly and then at Ananya, they converse through gestures and then he smirks...
Instead of shaking her hands, he engulfs her in a hug, which is seen by Ved and he frowns at this...
'Thank you kiddo... ' he says
Deepika was shocked, hence she didn't hug him back
Vansh leaves her, but still holds her hands
'I heard you and Annie did the decorations... It's very lively Deepika... I really loved it....' he says and Ved-Shanaya approach them
'But I am sure, Ved wouldn't have liked it.... Right Ved...?' Shanaya says arrogantly
'Why so...?' Ved asks curiously
'Because you don't like Blue right ? I asked her to change the theme to your favourite colour Green, but she didn't listen to me.. ' Shanaya says glaring at Deepika
'Who said Ved likes Green...?' Vansh asks her
'He is my bestie... I know his choices.. ' Shanaya says
'Actually... Shanaya... Blue is my favorite... ' Ved says and Vansh controls his laughter, while Deepika sighs
'Since when...?' Shanaya says feeling stupid
'Since Forever... ' Ved replied
'Whatever... ' Shanaya stomps away from there
'Well done with the decorations Deepika... ' Ved smiles
'Thanks... ' Deepika replies coldly and walks away
Ved sighs, and Vansh looks at him..
'You are an idiot, you know that...?' he says
'What do you mean...?' Ved asks
'Nothing... ' Vansh replies
'Come Bhai... Let's cut the cake...' Viraj says to both of them
Both of them walk towards the centre table, where a huge chocolate cake is placed, with 'Congratulations Ved And Vansh Bhai' written over it
'You guys made it...?' Vansh asks surprised
Sayesha and Saanjh grin excitedly, both of them cut the cake and everyone cheered..
Aayan silently left the party and went to his room, which was noticed by Jai and then Naina
'What's wrong with him...?' Jai asks worriedly
'Let me ask Ved... ' Naina says
She calls Ved who was feeding cake to Ananya, he cuts a piece for Naina and approached her
'Here Maa.. ' He forwards the cake to her, but she stops him
'Later beta, you tell me what's wrong with Aayan..?' she asks
Ved sighs 'Prateek and Sameer Singhal showed up today at the meeting and Sameer invited him to visit his mother, you know what happens to him when someone mentions about Badi Mummy...'
Jai frowns and Naina looks tensed, Ananya hears this and feels bad for Aayan
She cuts a slice of cake and puts it on a plate and goes to Aayan's room
Vansh searched for Deepika, but he couldn't find her either..
'Saanjh.. Where is Deepika...?' He asks
'I think she went to Annie Di's room..' Saanjh says
'Okay... ' he says
He then starts dancing with Rudra and Viraj, who were joined by Sayesha, Saanjh, Shanaya who drags Ved along with her
After some minutes, Vansh spots Arjun, he takes a piece of cake and walks towards him
'Papa...?' he says and Arjun looks at him
'Thanks... ' he takes the plate from him
'Papa... I... ' he began
'I know, you got promoted to head cinematographer... ' Arjun said
'Uh... '
'So instead of handling the camera yourself, you will supervise others doing the same task now... Wow that's quite an achievement.... ' Arjun says
Vansh frowns at this, but Arjun continued
'Your brother got an 100 crore investment for our company, and you just got promoted to a head photographer... Both are not same Vansh... ' Arjun said keeping his hand on Vansh's shoulder, and Vansh doesn't say anything...
'I will suggest you to rethink about your choice son, and you know that doors of E market are always open for you... ' Arjun says and walks away from the party
Vansh eyes fill with tears, he Silently wipes them and leaves the party as well...
ARJUN'S ROOM
Arjun takes the picture frame in which he is carrying 10 year old Vansh in his arms and both are smiling at the camera, he caresses Vansh's smiling picture and hugs it tightly
'I am so proud of you my boy... I love you so much... I am sorry... ' he apologizes to the frame and tears roll down his eyes...
