Chapter Thirty Two
"WHY were you sorry?" Colton asked tenderly while brushing her messy hair using his fingers. Karen couldn't utter a words. Her mixed emotions making it hard for her to speak. She's so overwhelmed that Colton is alive, there's nothing else she could ask for but being with his arms again.
"Maiwan ko na kayo." Untag ng doctor sa kanila.
Nag-angat ng tingin dito si Colton. "Nothing bad happened to my wife and to my baby, right?"
The doctor nod slowly and that made Colton let out a loud breath. Para bang nakahinga ito ng maluwag nang malaman na maayos ang kalagayan niya at ng anak nila. Was he worried about her safety? Colton is worried as her.
"Maiwan na rin namin kayo ate, kuya Colton." Paalam sa kanila ni Raquel.
Tumango lang sila pareho ni Colton. Ang mga taong nakapaligid sa kanila kanina ay unti-unti ng nawawala sa paningin nila. Nang silang dalawa na lang ni Colton ang natira sa silid ay hindi niya na napigilan ang sarili at niyakap ito ng mahigpit.
"I was so scared..." She whispered, her voice and her hands were shaking.
"I'm sorry. I had to hide it from you." Colton kissed her head and hug her back. "I'm sorry I made you worry."
"I thought I lost you."
"That won't happen, love. Alam mong gagawin ko ang lahat para lang makabalik ako sa'yo. I'll do everything to be in your arms again. I'll do everything so I can hug you like this again."
"I know, but the tv news scared me a lot. Ayokong mawala ka Colton. Mababaliw ako kapag nangyari 'yon..."
"Sshhh..." Hinalik-halikan nito ang ibabaw ng ulo niya pababa sa noo niya. "Stop worrying now. Nandito ako, buhay na buhay." Bumaba ang isang kamay nito sa ibabaw ng tiyan niya. "Nahahawa sa'yo ang anak natin."
"You can't blame me."
"I blame myself..."
Lalo niyang isiniksik ang katawan kay Colton. Ang sarap sarap sa pakiramdam na kayakap niya ito, na nandito ito sa tabi niya. Kung pwede lang na huwag niya itong palabasin ay gagawin niya, pero masyado namang nakakasakal iyon. Hindi pa naman gusto ng mga lalaki ang nasasakal. They always wants their freedom.
Maya-maya ay marahan na kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap kay Colton at pinakatitigan ito. He stare back at her with a small playful smile on his lips. Karen couldn't help herself but to buy her lower lip to suppress a smile.
"I know that kind of smile." She said.
"You know me that much, huh." Bago pa man din siya makapagreklamo ay marahan na siyang inihiga ni Colton sa kama at kinubabawan.
She cupped his face using her hands and give him a quick kiss on the lips. "I love you..." She whispered, making him groaned.
Unti-unti ay bumaba ang labi nito sa labi niya. And the moment their lips met, she automatically close her eyes.
"I love you very much." Colton whispered softly before claiming her lips with a one passionate kiss.
Napakapit siya sa batok nito at sinabayan ang bawat mainit na halik na iginagawad nito sa kanya. His lips were so soft and delicious. He explore his tongue inside her mouth, he's like a thirsty beast who badly wants to devour her.

SA LOOB ng library ng mansion ay kasama ni Colton ang kanyang ama at ang kapatid na si Carter at Clane. Clane was stil wearing his suit, he look pissed while Carter's looks serious.
"Can someone explain to me what the hell happened in the airport?" His father voice was low yet authoritative. He's seating on his swivel chair, while looking at them alternately.
"I'm out of this." Clane said dryly. "Can I leave now? I have a lots of things to do in our hotel." He emphasize the word 'our' telling them that the hotel was theirs, but why the hell he's the only one working his ass off to make it on top? He and Carter suddenly became selfish for not helping their oldest brother on their business.
"You may leave now, son." His father muttered. Clane left the room without looking at them. "Carter..."
"Dad, I just helped Colton. Wala naman sigurong masama do'n." Nababagot na wika ng kapatid niya.
"You always put your brother's life in danger. The first one was—"
"Babalik na naman ba tayo sa umpisa? Do you really think that I want my brother to suffer? Do you really think that I'm happy when he's in pain? Come on dad, I'm tired on all of this!" Carter walked out.
"Carter!" His father shouted but his brother is too hardheaded to stop and look back. His father heaved a sigh. "That brother of yours will be the death of me."
"Dad, maybe you're being too hard on him. Walang masamang ginawa si Kuya Carter. Ako ang may gusto ng lahat ng 'yon. Palagi niya akong pinagbibigyan. I don't think he deserves how you treat him." Sumandal siya sa inuupuan niya.
"He's a rebel. A black sheep in this family."
Napailing na lang siya. "I beg to disagree."
His father took a sip on his coffee before he spoke. "Now tell me, what did you do to Gail? I seen your face and Carter's face all over the TV news and social media. What the hell is this mess, Colton?"
"Well, Gail deserves to be in jail after what she did to my Karen. Gail almost kill her and my baby. I will never forgive her."
"You shot her?"
"I would love to but I did not. I swear."
"Then who shot her?"
"I fucking don't have an idea and I don't fucking care anyway." Napainom siya ng beer na dala ni Carter na wala namang bawas. "What matters to me right now is Karen and our baby's safety."
"You really like that woman."
"I love her." He said straight to the point. "And I'll marry her very soon."
His father give him a small smile. "I give you my blessing, son. I'm glad to see you happy again."
"And that's all because of her."
NAGISING si Colton ng may mumunting halik ang dumadampi sa buong mukha niya. When he opened his eyes, he saw his wife staring at him lovingly. Hindi na nga yata pagsasawaan ang ganitong bungad sa kanya tuwing umaga.
"Good morning, mahal ko..." K greeted him sweetly and kiss his lips.
He groaned. "You making me hard baby..."
She gasp and pinch his arm. "Hindi ka pa nagsawa kagabi?"
"Hinding-hindi ako magsasawa sa'yo, K. Umaga, tanghali, gabi o kahit madaling araw pa 'yan, palagi akong handa para sa'yo." Mapaglarong dinala niya ang kamay nito sa alaga niyang buhay na naman. "Look what you always do to me when we're on bed."
"Is it my fault, huh?" Pabirong umirap ito sa hangin. "Am I that hot?"
And that made him laugh early in the morning. It's not a joke but it really makes him laugh. She asked him with innocent on her face and voice. And that makes her hot!
"Yes you are." Hinalikan niya ang gilid ng labi nito.
"Eh bakit mo ako pinagtatawanan?" Halos malukot na ang maganda nitong mukha. She's really a beauty. No wonder he's so in love with her.

"Get up! Mag-almusal na tayo. Nagugutom na kami ni baby." Anito, itinatago ang pamumula ng pisngi.
"Why still blushing?" He teased. And K just glared at him. He doesn't mind, he like it when she's mad. "Dapat ay masanay ka ng marinig sa akin na mahal kita."
Bahagya pa siyang nagulat ng bigla na lang itong yumakap sa kanya at isiniksik ang mukha sa leeg niya.
"Bakit ka ba ganyan!" Hinampas siya nito sa dibdib, hindi sapat para masaktan siya.
"What?" Pinagsiklop niya ang kamay nila at dinala niya iyon sa labi niya.
"Palagi mo na lang pinapatibok ng malakas ang puso ko..." That made him smile.
"The feeling is mutual baby."
"Bakit hindi naman halata sa'yo?"
"Because I'm good in hiding my feelings." He kissed the side of her head. "Magpakasal na tayo, K... I don't want to wait for another day to marry you. Gustung-gusto na kitang angkinin at sabihin sa sarili ko na akin ka na talaga." He really want to claim him as his in a legal way.
"Gusto ko na rin magpakasal sa'yo, Colton. Gusto ko na rin masabi sa sarili ko na akin ka... Na sa akin ang lalaking mahal ko." Nag-angat ito ng tingin sa kanya. Her deep brown eyes stare at him, hypnotizing him.
"Handa ka na bang palitan ang apelyido mo..." Inilapit niya ang labi sa labi nito. He brush her lips with his. "...ng apelyido ko?"
K cupped his face using her palms and playfully kiss him on the lips. "Handang-handa na akong palitan ang apelyido ko ng apelyido mo." His heart beat crazily at that. Knowing that she wants to marry him makes him the happiest man on the Universe.
"I can't wait to hear them call you Mrs. Karen Altaraza. My last name fits on your name well." Hinaplos niya ang likod nito papunta sa tiyan. "I couldn't ask for more but to be your husband and you to be the mother of our future kids."
