One Month Later...
Mr.Leaff was in his office going over the new details of the case he has been sitting on for the last couple of weeks when his right hand man Cole came in
"Tom?" He said with a phone in his hand peeking in his office
"Yeah?"He answered
"Andre's chief is on the line, he wants to know did you find anything that they can go on yet?" He said when Tom looked up from his paper work
" Wha- ...um tell him not yet, I'll call if something comes up. "He lied when Cole understood then left shortly after he came back in
"How didn't you want to talk to him and lied to him at the same time?"Cole said laughing
"Im only reporting to Andre no one else."Tom said
"Alright, now what you wanted me to do?"Cole asked as Tom slid him two files to him
"These hospital files right here I need you to slick these back in and kind of ask around about Melody and Denise working and personal relationship and if nobody gives you anything don't pry because I'll go back one day this week."Tom explained
"So you're sending me to shake things up?"Cole asked smiling
"Exactly."Tom said smiling as Cole was leaving
"Alright, I'll keep you updated."Cole said when a girl came by looking down in a newspaper
"Can I take Mya?" Cole asked and Mya entered the room looking confused
"I need her."Cole said putting his arm around her and she shook him off
"Alright, I guess I'll go by myself."Cole said as he sighed
"Sorry!" Tom said as Cole was leaving
"What you need me for? Mya asked
" I want you to go to the family court and see what Bennent had in mind for Nashaé and Kami if Melody signed over her rights to them and then meet me at their school Monday by that time you should be done and I should be back."
"Okay where you going?"
"Everybody has or had this perception of Hakeem selling drugs but in and out of where?"
He said as Mya was trying guess where but didn't put to much thought into it as Tom patted her on the back and showed her the way out
"Thank you."He said
"No problem."Mya replied as she walked off while he went back to his desk
"This should be interesting, let's do this. " Tom said to himself grabbing his briefcase and jacket while walking out his office

It was night time as I was sitting on the school bench when a car pulled up with the lights shining in my eyes the drivers door opened as the car lights went off and the person approached me and sat next to me I had mixed emotions I was trying to find away to speak as I felt eyes on me but he beat me to the punch

Keshaun said to me as his voice sent chills down my spine I was still speechless I couldn't speak he leaned trying to get me to look at him but I couldn't after last night finding out what Marshawn did to him when Keshaun held my chin up our eyes connected as I seen that his eyes were red I hugged him
"I'm trying to make everything better okay?" He said hugging me tightly as I cried into his neck as he continued to talk to me
"Listen to me I've did somethings you probably won't under stand right now and I'm not expecting you to." He told as I was confused as he let me go
"What are you talking about?" I asked him as he went into his pocket
"Hear me out." He said as he held a sliver necklace in his hands and started to put it around my neck
"I brought this for you long ago okay it's a symbol of our relationship and
He got cut off by his phone ringing he sent it to voicemail then he tried to talk but it ringed again
"It's okay answer it."
"Hello!?" He said going to car leaning on the hood as I wiped my eyes and started to admire the neck but I knew I need to tell him that me and Marshawn are together now when he got off the phone and looked at me
"Something wrong?" He asked me I tried to fix my mouth for the words

I was cut off by his phone ringing again Keshaun looked frustrated as he answered
"I said I'm on the way!" Keshaun yelled then hung up and got down on one knee and looked me in my while holding my hands
"Shaé I got to go away for sometime but I promise I'll be back."

Kayla was laying in the bed when she heard the front door close ,she got up and went to the window and saw Késhaun get in the back seat so she picked up her phone getting ready to call Sly but she decided not to call she ran in Késhaun's room ,the door was cracked she slowly opened it not knowing it was a marble that just rolled under the bed she went in looking around got to his closet looking through shoe boxes found nothing then went by his bed feeling under the mattress and found a receipt for a key on a chain

I just got through packing some of my shit up and did everything I had to do for today so I got in bed and lit me one up and starting thinking about some things
But I didn't want to stay in the house so I got up and seen that it was raining I put on my hoodie grabbed my keys and seen Kayla on the phone sitting on the couch, I didn't say anything to her just kept walking, got in the car and played one of my go to songs

Nashaé froze then she heard the refrigerator for close and quickly put his phone back as he was coming in the living room
"What did I miss?" Marshawn asked handing Nashaé a gatorade while sitting down

"Nothing, I just got a text from coach he wants to have lunch with the team at school before tomorrow's last game." Nashaé replied
Marshawn put his arms around Nashaé she looked at Marshawn's arm going around but just laid under him not knowing what to say but couldn't help but think Sly had every right to do what he did to her because she was the reason Késhaun got shot up so she thought

Marshawn and Nashaé fell asleep on the couch together Nashaé was mumbling in her sleep when her body started pushing up against Marshawn he held one of his arms up to let Shaé get some room when he realized she was dreaming
"Shaé?" He said softly trying to wake her up but she wouldn't wake up and continued to mumbling
"I'm trying you got to help me." Shaé said
"Shaé wake up!"He said shaking her as she woke up out of breath and sweating Marshawn looked at her
"You straight mama chill."He said sitting by her bringing her into a hug
"You want to talk about it?"
Marshawn asked as Shaé just held her knees to her chest and shook her head Marshawn kissed her forehead turned off the light as Shaé laid back down and Marshawn moved over by her hugging her from the back as Shaé cried while Marshawn was falling back asleep
