Here I go again. Here's the new update. I'll apologize if this chapter is a little bit rushed. I'm just so excited to write the next one. Speaking of, to all Niam shippers out there, brace yourself because the next couple of chapters will be all about Niam. To Ziall and Larry shippers, I'll come back to you. I promise!

For those who don't know, there's a new 1D boyxboy story that I started on July 8 called If You Could Read My Mind. I hope you'll give it the same support. I would highly appreciate it. Thank you.

So enjoy!

Liam's POV

Realizing that having not much time to get to the ferry station is a huge problem blocking my way to see Niall. Somehow, I need to resolve this as soon as possible because every seconds counts.

I glanced once again at my Toy Story wall clock. Every single movement of the second hand of the clock made my heart cringed. If only I have the power to stop time, I would stop it to think things through, to plan thoroughly what is the next thing I should do.

I stood up once again from the hardwood floors and starts pacing again. I ran different scenarios inside my head and carefully weigh things that could possibly happen.

I can't definitely drive that fast, I would get arrested for over speeding. If I got caught then my ass would be locked up in jail then I wouldn't be able to see Niall.

I can't exactly call the management and hook me up to a private jet then they would know that Niall snuck up on us and Simon would find out that I deceived him and that could jeopardize Niall's position in the band. I could never do that to him. He would be devastated.

Think, Liam, think!

"Ah!" I exclaimed.

I hurried towards my phone and starts looking for a certain contact. If only I could have five thumbs scrolling through my phone that would be great so I could find this damn contact fast.

"Well, there you are." I giggled. My face was widely grinning that it starts to hurts my cheeks.

"Press call."

I slowly put the phone on my ear. My heart thumped when I heard ringing sound on the other line and this heart almost stopped when I heard a voice.

"Hello..."

"Hey, Jeremy, mate. How are you doing?" I caught myself chuckling.

"Liam?"

"Yeah, it's me." I answered quickly. But then, I heard grunting response coming from Jeremy.

"What do you want?" Jeremy groaned. I could practically visualize him rolling his eyes out.

"I need a favor, Jeremy." I said while crossing my fingers once again. Maybe the Lady Luck would grant me another chance on getting closer to my main goal.

"Stop right there!" Jeremy's voice turned from being annoyed to being suffocated in a matter of seconds.

"Oh come on, Jeremy. I really need this."

He cackled desperately and I could visualize it in my head that he must tighten his grip on the phone.

"Don't 'oh come on, Jeremy' me. I haven't recovered yet the last time we went something together." The decibel of his voice is slighter than usual.

"It was just a minor scratch."

"Minor scratch? You almost dislocated my neck!" He yelled back on the phone, which causes me to move the phone away from my ears due to the fact that I was so startled.

I was losing hope and I really don't know what to do. I have to see Niall and I would even consider holding a spoon if that's what it takes.

Desperate times call for desperate measure.

"I'm here to collect a debt." I said menacingly.

"A debt you say?" Somehow, there was sassiness in his voice like Louis does when someone insults him.

"Yes." My voice was on the verge on breaking, hoping he wouldn't notice that.

"And what does this debt entitled?"

"It's called Michelle." I heard him gulped on the other line. Finally, my plan is on motion and I think it's working.

Michelle was the hottest girl in our high school and Jeremy was literally obsessed about her. As charming as I was, I was able to score for Jeremy to take Michelle out. They went a couple of times but he got tired of Michelle's rotten personality.

"Damn it, Liam! I was hoping you'd forget about that."

"How could I forget? After what you said when I told you Michelle finally agreed to go out with you." I laugh hysterically on the phone, which made Jeremy really upset.

"Yeah, yeah..." His annoyed voice came back. "What do you want me to do now?" He continued.

I did a little goofy dance here in my dark-lit room when Jeremy finally agrees to my Niall rescue mission.

"I just want you to drive me to Holyhead."

He shrieked. "Liam, that's a five-hour drive!"

"But you're my best friend. And best friends should always help each other out." I said with a very melodramatic tone. I even faked a sob.

"Ugh! I can't believe you used that best friend line again." He grunted. I could practically see him rolling his eyes out by the sound of his voice. "You're not gonna use that line ever again to me."

"Yes!" I tightened my biceps, clenching my fist and motioned my right arm backwards to indicate that I am so thrilled that the rescue mission is going according to the plan. And hopefully time will be on my side.

"Okay fine! I'll meet you at your house in twenty minutes."

"Sure." I hang up the phone and quickly hopped in the shower.

While I was at the shower, I couldn't help myself think of Niall. I wonder what he's doing right now. Did he eat already? Is he feeling okay? Was he ever thinking about me? I want to ask him why he left so suddenly. It couldn't be possibly because of the ripping shirt debacle. I know he forgave me already but something is killing Niall inside that made him left and I will dig in to find the truth.

As I stepped out of the tub, I moved quickly from brushing my teeth to styling my hair. I put a little mouse to give a little shine of my brown hair. After that, I put in a red and green colored plaid shirt and jeans. With that, I rushed going downstairs and as I was about to pass the kitchen, I saw Louis on the sink.

What is he doing?

"Louis, what the heck?" I squinted my eyes.

Louis turned around and I wasn't expecting him wearing an apron and doing the dishes.

"Oh hey, Liam." He smiled back. Both of his hands were covered with yellow latex gloves.

"What are you doing?" I asked suspiciously. "Does Harry know you're here in the kitchen?"

Let me tell you one thing, never ever make a single mess in the kitchen because if you do, you'll see the end of the world initiated by a boy named Harry Styles.

"I lost in a Go Fish game." His smiling face turned in a frowning one in a matter of seconds.

I stood there and can't help myself but to chuckle. Knowing Louis, he would never initiate to do household chores. I think Harry is the girl on their relationship. He would be the first one to nag Louis about his terrible table manners, his dirty clothes lying around in his room and that's why sometimes Louis locked his room. I wonder if Niall and me would have the same type of situation if we end up together. And with that, I caught myself smiling.

"Hello? Earth to Liam?" Louis called out and made me snapped back to reality.

"Uh sorry, what were you saying?"

"Well, you're grinning there like a maniac and it's creepy."

"I do not!" I protested. I know I might have but I don't want him to think that I'm thinking about Niall and what could've been if I'm in a relationship with him.

"Niall, is it?"

I gasped and quickly ran to him. I instantly covered his mouth with my bare hands. I glared at him enough to make him think thoroughly about making another noise.

"You found him?" He whispered.

"Yes. He's in Mullingar."

"What is he doing there?" Louis wiggled his eyebrows in confusion. And turn back on scrubbing plates smoothly and thoroughly.

"I don't know. With his family, I guess."

"Is that why you're dressed up like that?" He made another glance from my head down to my feet.

"Dress up like what?"

"Uhm... nothing." Louis bit his lip but I knew at the back of my mind, he was about to laugh. I quickly glanced at my clothes and I look just fine.

"Haz told to be more compassionate when it comes on looking on people's fashion sense." He air quoted 'fashion sense.'

I was about to hit him hard on his head when I heard honking outside. It made me jump.

"Don't tell the lads I'm on Mullingar."

"Why?" He asked suspiciously.

"I don't want anyone to follow me. Besides, it'll cause media frenzy if any of you go to Mullingar. I'll bring him back. I promise."

"What am I supposed to tell Harry and Zayn?"

"I don't know, lie." I couldn't help but to hit him with a sarcastic comment. Besides, it's a very rare situation that I could gain the upper hand and I will not let anyone take it from me.

"Okay. Just be back soon."

"Of course, I'll be back tomorrow."

With that, I ran towards the door and out on the main gate. I couldn't help but smile as I saw a police car parking outside.

"Hey, Jeremy." I waved at him as I sit in the front beside him.

I swear, he was glaring at me. If glare could kill someone, I would be dead by now.

I quickly buckled the seatbelt on me and smiled at a glaring Jeremy.

"Let's go." I laughed awkwardly.

He turned on the engine and the vehicle roared into life. He gripped on the steering wheel as if his life was depending on it. He glances from left to the right.

"What are you doing?" I asked, feeling a little bit crept out.

"I'm driving!" His voice sounded like a mad scientist as getting closer on a newfound discovery.

"I know but you don't have to be into so much. You're creeping me out."

"I'm creeping you out?" He turned around. His eyebrows were centimeters apart and biting his lip. And his expression is definitely obvious that he's ready to pound if he wasn't driving.

"Okay, chill, Jeremy. I was just joking." I chuckled awkwardly.

"You better." An evil smirk spread across his pale white face. Suddenly, his annoyed voice became serious in a matter of seconds.

"What are you planning to do on Holyhead?"

It was a question I didn't expect from Jeremy. I would describe Jeremy as not a nosy person. For four years of high school, he tends to avoid unnecessary drama in his life, which made me wonder on how he ends up on being a cop. Cops are known for their intuition skills, which means he have to be nosy. Weird, isn't it?

I cleared my throat first before speaking. I was contemplating if I should tell him why I'm going to Holyhead. We lost contact after high school. He probably went to some kind of police academy. And for me, I tried taking some classes on a university then try my luck on X-Factor. We used to be really close but now, I don't know...

"I'm going to Ireland." I said calmly and slowly. Then, all of a sudden, I felt a strong motion behind my back. I felt my body jerked moved forward. Luckily, my body was strapped in a seatbelt.

"You whaaaat?!" His eyes are widening as if it's going to drop from his eye socket. He pulled over the car on the sidewalk so as not to cause any traffic behind us.

"I said, I'm going to Ireland." I said one more time. But this time, I said it with a clear voice so he won't take it as some kind of joke.

"What did your mother say?" His face is full of worry and it made me confused.

My mother? She has nothing to do with this. Why would Jeremy think my mother has a connection with this?

I slowly scratch my head while my mind is trying to convey what Jeremy is trying to say.

"Mum has nothing to do with this." I simply stated.

All of a sudden, he had this expression on his face as if he witnessed a massacre right in front of him.

"Oh God!" His was in full terror and horror.

"What?!" I'm starting to freak out so I turned my glance to my right to check if he saw something so horrible for making that expression.

"You knocked up some girl?"

For one moment, his statement didn't quite register on my mind. But after a couple of seconds, I felt my right eyebrow climbing up on my forehead.

"What are you talking about?"

"Is that why you're leaving London and live in Ireland for good?" Both of his hands were covering his mouth.

"For crying out loud, Jeremy! I didn't get any girl pregnant!" I hit his right shoulder playfully. "I was just picking up someone on Ireland."

With that, his stunned face became sly all of a sudden.

"Is she pretty?" He grinned while he turned on the engine once again.

"No, it's not a she. It's a he." I explained.

Jeremy looked at me suspiciously and somehow it bothered me. Well, I haven't told anyone about my sexuality, not even to my parents. The only person knows about it is Louis.

My eyes widened when I saw the time. It was 7:38. I have less than two hours before the ferry starts boarding passengers.

"Let's go now!"

"Okay, okay." He surrendered his hands in air.

"Can you make it faster?" I asked annoyingly. I keep glancing at my watch hoping it would stop if I keep looking at it.

"I can't. I have to stay on the speed limit."

"Screw the speed limit!" I raised my voice. I'm getting a little impatient on the situation I am in. I want to see him now so desperately.

Jeremy's eyes widened in horror as he turned his gaze to me. "Liam, language."

"Sorry, I just have to be in Holyhead ferry station before 9:45." I apologized. Raising my voice to someone is very unlikely of me. I do feel terrible, it's just I'm running out of time.

"Not gonna happen, mate." He winked at me.

"I will give you £5,000 right now if you can bring me to Holyhead before 9:45." I said desperately. I'm running out of options but I do hope Jeremy won't lock me up.

With that, he turned on the siren. The vehicles around us suddenly make way as he stepped on the gas of the car we're in.

I held tightly on my seat; afraid of my own life. I saw his speedometer reached 200 mph. I can finally say that I've never been scared but not until now after seeing that. The harsh wind hitting on my face made my eyes closed.

It was like a drive towards on the pit of hell. It was so freaking fast to the point that we're in some kind of a racing course. I whispered to myself any prayer I could find hiding beneath my brain and hoping an angel would come and save me from the predicament I am in.

"You know, you shouldn't bribe a cop." I heard him chuckling.

I slowly pushed the button to make the window go up.

"I'm sorry. I can't explain it right now but I really have to be in Holyhead ferry station."

"Don't worry, Liam. I've got you covered." He once again winked at me. I realized that the old reckless Jeremy is back again and we are on a mission. I smiled back at him.

After an hour and thirty minutes of fleeting and reckless driving, we found ourselves in front of the Holyhead Ferry Station. I quickly climbed down the vehicle before Jeremy do something stupid again like what we did in high school making him broke his neck.

"I owe you this time, Jeremy." I smiled at him.

"Anytime."

My mind wandered as I've stepped on inside of the ferry. I quickly hid at the back corner of the ferry. I must hide my face because if someone notices me then I'd be screwed and Niall would be screwed. That is something that I do not plan on doing.

I sat on a chair while my gaze travel on the Irish sea. It was covered in pitch black and I can think about is Niall to the point that I don't think I couldn't function without him. Since I've found that he left, it felt like half of my heart just died and life was not worth living.

I need some Niall in my life.

With that, I decided to tell Niall that these feelings brewing in my heart for the past year. That is a promise I will not break.

I woke up after a couple of hours. The sun was rising and the clouds were forming on the blue skies above me. It was a beautiful day. A day where everything in my life will change.

As I stepped out of the ferry, I quickly put on my sunglasses and pulled out my hoodie above my head to conceal my face.

"This is Dublin." I whispered to my face.

I pulled out the folded map hiding on my back pocket. Glancing at the map, looking at these pictures does not making any sense to me at all. I squinted my eyes trying to locate Mullingar on the map.

"Are you lost?" A voice startled behind me. I turned around and saw a middle-aged woman with a child was standing behind me.

"Uh... I was wondering on how I get to Mullingar."

The woman explained to me that I could either rent a taxi or take the train. Still, it's a five-hour drive. I decided to take the taxi to avoid people as much as possible. No one should blame for being cautious.

After that five hour-drive, I found myself standing in front of a brown brick house. The lawn has been trimmed recently. It was a medium-sized home and I caught myself smiling at the thought of seeing him again.

The thought of imagining Niall in his childhood running around in this neighborhood is a little bit funny. I could definitely see it inside my head. I just wish I was there to see it. It's kind of creepy, I know.

I walked towards the house and quickly took off my glasses and fix my hair before I knock on the door. It was seven o'clock in the morning. I wondered if Niall is still sleeping.

I gulped as I knocked three times. As I see the doorknob turned, my heartbeat rose rapidly that I might have a heart attack right here right now.

I was surprised to see who answered the door.

"Hello..."
