Next day
When RK woke up in the morning, he didn't find his wife sleeping beside him. He got up and started to get ready for his work. When he finished his bath and was getting dressed, Madhu entered the room. She wasn't ready yet
"Aren't you coming to the hospital today?" RK was confused
"Do I have to start today? Can't I start tomorrow?" Madhu
"Sure you can." RK
"Tell me do you have important surgeries today?" Madhu
"No just two simple ones. Why?" RK
"So you can skip work today" Madhu
"What? Why? Is there something wrong? aren't you feeling well?" RK was concern
"Can't we skip work unless something wrong happened?" Madhu
"It is not like that. But I never skip work for just staying at home" RK was bored from this conversation
"But you can skip work for staying with your wife" Madhu said with puppy eye look
"Do we have to?" RK
"Please. We are married for more than a year now. And we never stayed and enjoyed our time for once. Please" Madhu was pleading him
"OK. I will call the hospital and tell them I'm not coming" RK
"Thank you my love" Madhu jumped and kissed him on his cheek
"Will we have breakfast at your mother's house?" RK
"No. This day is mine. All the day. We won't go anywhere. We will just stay here in the house. You and me" Madhu
"What will we do here in the house all the day?" RK
"Anything and everything. We will talk, chat, watch movies, play games, listen to music or dance" Madhu
"What? Dance! I never danced in my life" RK was shocked
"Me too. But we will dance together. No one will watch us. It will be fun" Madhu
"No. You will laugh at me" RK
"Why not? You too will laugh at me" Madhu
"You are crazy" RK
"You can't deny that you love me wholly. Even my craziness" Madhu
"You are right. I can't deny it." RK said with eyes full of love
"Ok. Come let have breakfast first" Madhu
After they had had their breakfast, RK called the hospital and told them that he was not going there that day.
"Give me your phone" Madhu
"Why? Where is yours?" RK
"I have mine. But I want your phone" Madhu
"Why?" RK
"Like I told you, today is mine. I want every minute in that day. So no work and no mobile" Madhu
"But if I had important call. Or if something happened in the hospital and they needed me" RK
"Don't worry if you got important call I will give it to you" Madhu
"Ok" RK handed her his mobile
"Good boy" Madhu
"What?" RK got angry for calling him boy
"Sorry. Good man. Happy now" Madhu
RK looked at her with bride look
"So what is now?" RK
"Movie time. Tell me which movies you love the most. American or Hindi" Madhu
"I love American movies. They do it perfectly. The direction, the production, the acting. Everything is just perfect" RK
"Sure" Madhu rolled his eyes
"What? Don't you like American movies?" RK
"You are right they do everything perfectly. But the Hindi movies are good too. They are very romantic. A lot of songs and dances. The American movies are so realistic." Madhu
"And that is the best in it. It is realistic we can believe it. Not the hero who can beat 20 man with one punch. Or the bullet that goes around and around until it hits its target" RK
"But we escape from reality to the movies. That is why we enjoy watching the movies. Not to watch another reality in it" Madhu
"I don't know. I love to live the reality. I don't like to live in a beautiful lie. Because no matter how beautiful the lie is. It still a lie not the truth" RK
"Ok but today is mine. So we will watch Hindi movie" Madhu
"OK" RK was irritated
"You are good to me. You agreed to give me today. So we will watch two movies. Hindi and American. OK?" Madhu
"Ladies first. We will watch the Hindi show first." RK
They started watching the movie. After half hour, Madhu saw RK leaning his head on the back of the couch and sleeping
"Hay. Wake up" Madhu
"What?" RK
"You are cheating. We must watch it together" Madhu
"But I don't like this movie. It is so boring" RK
"I don't care. You bear with me and I will bear with you" Madhu
"Ok" RK opened his eye widely
"Happy now" RK
"Yes" Madhu was laughing
They spent the whole day together. Chatting, talking, and laughing. After they had had their dinner RK asked his wife
"What do you want to do now?" RK
"We will play truth or dare. But without bottle spinning or dare" Madhu
"How?" RK
"I will ask you question and I have to answer the same question for you. You too will ask me a question but you have to answer the same question" Madhu
"Sounds fun" RK
"Ok let's start" Madhu
"Ladies first" RK
"Why did you marry me?" Madhu

"You are the perfect husband for anyone. But all my life I wanted to have a love marriage. When my mother told me about your propose. I refused at once. But she told me that you love me. She convinced me that with time I will love you too. And I will have a love marriage as I wanted all my life. And she was right. I loved you and now we both love each other's" Madhu
"So if you knew that Sultan loves you that time you would refuse my proposal and wait for him?" RK
"You want the truth?" Madhu
"If I didn't want it I wouldn't ask for it" RK
"Yes. But I am very glad that it didn't happen that way" Madhu
"What do you mean?" RK
"I mean. You are the only one I love to live my life with. Before our marriage, I didn't know you as a human. You were just my teacher. But after we married and I know you better. If I went back in time. I would accept your propose in a heartbeat. No I would get down on my knees and asked you to marry me" Madhu
"My turn" RK
"What?" Madhu
"My turn to ask a question" RK
"Ok ask" Madhu
"Tell me the truth. What are the things you don't like about me?" RK
"Can't I say the things I like about you?" Madhu was trying to escape answering the question
"No. I want to know the things you don't like about me" RK
"It is not things. It is one thing" Madhu
"Just one?" RK was shocked
"Yes" Madhu
"What is it?" RK
"You are so practical. So realistic. So honest" Madhu
"You don't want me to be honest?" RK was confused
"It is not like that" Madhu
"So tell me what you mean?" RK
"For example, when you said that life doesn't stop for anyone. I wished if you said that you can't live without me. I know you won't die after me. I don't want you to. I want you to be happy with or without me. But I wanted you to tell me that you need me. I don't know how to put it in words" Madhu
"How do you say that you want me to be happy even without you? In the same time you want me to tell you that I can't live without you" RK
"I don't know. That's how girls are. We need to hear things even if we know it is not a true. I need my husband tell me how beautiful he sees me even if I know and I'm sure that I'm not beautiful. If you expect me to say something or do something and I didn't you got upset. I want you to open up with me. Tell me what you want from me. I can't guess what you need and do it without you saying it.
I have many responsibilities many things occupy my mind. I don't say that your needs are not my priority. But I have many, many things in my mind. I can't spend most of the time guessing what you need or want from me.
I need you to say it loud and clear. If I hurt you, you should tell me. If you expect something from me, you should tell me. So I can provide it to you" RK
"You are right. But I don't want to ask you for anything. I want you to do it for me or say it to me without asking. Because asking for things make it meaningless. I can't ask you to tell me you love me. Because if you say it that time I won't know if you really mean it or said it just because I asked you to say it. I hope you understand me and know me inside out. Know my needs without I say it" Madhu
"That's the problem from watching many Hindi movies. Life is not like romantic movie. Reality is far, far different from what you see in the movies. The hero in the movie is in another town miles away from the girl he loves. And suddenly he feels that she is hungry. Or when she sneeze.

They continued in their questions game. After two hours, Madhu brought him his tuxedo and asked him to get ready
"Wear this and get ready" Madhu
"You said we will stay here in the house. Right?" RK
"Yes but I want you to wear it" Madhu
"I can't wait until this day ends" RK
"Aren't you having fun?" Madhu faked sad face
"Yes. I'm having fun. But I don't like wasting my time like this" RK
"You gave me this day. So you will do as I say. Go and get ready." Madhu said with authority
"Yes ma'am" RK saluted her like military. Then he went upstairs to get ready
"Use the other room." Madhu was shouting from downstairs
"Why?" RK
"Because I need our room to get ready" Madhu
"OK" RK
After thirty minutes, RK got out from the other room and knocked on her door.
"Wait. You can't come now." Madhu told him from inside
"Come on. I can't enter my room" RK
"Please wait for me just thirty minutes" Madhu
"Just thirty minutes and I will come ok" RK
"OK" Madhu
After forty-five minutes, RK was knocking on the door
"I'm not finished yet" Madhu replied from inside
"You said just thirty minutes and now forty-five minutes passed" RK was irritated
"Sorry. Please just fifteen minutes more. Please" Madhu
"Now it is 9:45 pm. At 10 pm if you didn't open the door I will take off this suit and sleep in the other room" RK
"No please I will be finished. Now go and let me finish what I'm doing" Madhu
"OK" RK
At 9:55 pm Madhu opened her door and called for him
"Rishabh" Madhu
"Yes" RK
"Come please" Madhu
"Finally" RK
RK entered the room. He found his wife wearing a golden long dress with long cut reached her upper thigh. She did her hair perfectly. Its long curls were on her right shoulder. She was wearing light and beautiful makeup. Her neck was hugged with the diamond necklace he gifted her previous year. She was stunning. She smiled when she saw his eyes sparkle.
"Do you like it?" Madhu was pointing at the decoration she did in the room
"Beautiful" RK didn't remove his eyes from his wife. He didn't notice anything else in the room
"I mean the room" Madhu was blushing
"Your beauty overshadow anything else." RK
Madhu's face became redder if it was even possible
"Please don't look at me like that" Madhu looked at the ground shyly
"I can't help it" RK
When he noticed her very shy. He looked around the room. She decorated it with roses and candles. It was so beautiful. His smile widened.
"You did it perfectly. I loved it so much" RK
"Really?" Madhu
"You know I'm honest" RK
Madhu played soft music, offered him her hands, and asked him to dance
"Will you give me the honor?" Madhu
"You know I can't dance" RK
"Please. No one is watching. It is just you and me." Madhu said with puppy dog eyes
He took her hand and started to swing with her on the rhythm.
"See it is easy" Madhu
She was wearing high heels. And she stepped on his foot
"Ouch" RK
"Sorry" Madhu
After two minutes
"Madhu" RK shouted from pain
"Sorry. It is my first time too" Madhu
After five minutes
"Oh" RK
"Sorry" Madhu
"Please take it off" RK
"How I wear this long dress with bare feet?" Madhu
"Ok you can stay away from me. You dance that side and I will dance this side" RK
"We will dance slow dance separated?" Madhu was confused
"Change the music. We don't have to dance slowly. Or we can change and sleep" RK said excitedly
"No. I will change the music" Madhu
She changed the music to fast tone. And they both started to dance away from each other's. Madhu saw RK jumping and kicking the air with his arms and legs. She laughed at him
"What are you laughing at?" RK
"Sorry but I can't help it" Madhu was concealing her laughter
"You too dance like clown" RK
"Like I told you. No one is watching" Madhu continued laughing
"Close your eyes. Or I will stop" RK threatened her
"No please don't stop" Madhu
"So close your eyes" RK
"Ok. You too close your eyes" Madhu
"But I didn't laugh at you" RK
"I don't care. We both will close our eyes" Madhu
"OK" RK
They both were dancing like clowns. With their eyes closed. They both started to feel dizzy. But neither of them wanted to stop. After thirty minutes, they collided on each other while they were jumping. Madhu lost her balance and she was falling down. She hanged on RK's arm. He too lost his balance. And they both fell on the bed.
"You are crazy. You know that?" RK was looking down at her
"Yes I'm. I'm crazy with your love" Madhu
"I love you. I love all of you. I love your innocence, your naughtiness, your craziness. I love you" RK looked at her with eyes full of love and need
"I love you Rishabh" Madhu breathed the words. Then she closed her eyes
"Look at me Madhu" RK
She did as he said.
They spent the day hanging out like friends. But they spent that night like loving married couple
