FAR & AWAY

When Madhu reached her mother's house, Padmini got worry seeing her daughter with her bags

"What happened? Where is Rishabh?" Padmini

"I just came here to stay with you all for a while. I missed you all. And I needed to come here and stay with you. The house is very tensed because of RK's condition and I needed a break" Madhu

"How could you leave your husband in that condition? He needs you Madhu. You promised me you would never leave him" Padmini was angry from her daughter

"Yes mom. I didn't leave him. I just wanted a break nothing more. I can't focus on my work with all the tension in the house. I told them that I will come here for few days and Papa Ji allowed me" Madhu

"And Rishabh. I'm sure he doesn't agree to this. Even if he told you so. He needs you Madhu" Padmini

"Rishabh allowed me. He even suggested the idea. He noticed that I'm tired and told me to come here and rest for few days" Madhu

"No Madhu you shouldn't leave him" Padmini

"Mom please I need to rest. I will sleep. Please don't wake me up" Madhu

She ran to her old room and locked the door behind her. She laid down on the bed buried her face in a pillow and cried hard. She cried for hours until exhaustion took her and drafted in disturbed sleep

Padmini called RK but he didn't answer her call. She tried many times but He didn't answer her

Days passed in the same routine. Madhu goes to work most of the day and return to her mother's house cry herself to sleep in her old room.

Padmini called RK many times to ask him what happened between him and her daughter, but he never answered her calls. Then his mobile was always switched off as if he changed his mobile number.

She had to do something. She couldn't just sit and watch her daughter suffer in silence. She decided to visit him and talk to him face to face

In Kundra's house

"Welcome Padmini Ji. Come in. How are you? How is Madhu?" Mohan

"We are fine Mohan Ji. But Madhu is not fine at all" Padmini

"Why? What happened to her?" Mohan was worry

"I'm here to ask what happened to her. My daughter was never like this. She is like living dead. She talks to no one, cries most of the time, eats almost nothing. Rishabh I don't know what happened to him. He doesn't answer my calls. Now his mobile is always switched off. What happened to our kids Mohan Ji?" Padmini

"I don't know what to say to you. I feel ashamed from what my son did." Mohan

"What did he do?" Padmini

"I can't tell you anything because I don't understand anything. You should talk to him maybe he will get back to his mind" Mohan

"I called him many times he didn't answer my calls like I told you. Now his mobile is always unreachable" Padmini

"He broke his mobile" Mohan

"What? Why?" Padmini

"I don't know. He doesn't talk to anyone. He even doesn't go out from his room since Madhu left the house" Mohan

"Can I talk to him?" Padmini

"Please. He is in his room" Mohan

"I'll go and talk to him" Padmini

Padmini went upstairs and knocked on her daughter's room

"I said I don't want any disturbance. Don't you understand" RK shouted from inside the room
