Elsa's P.O.V
1 MONTH LATER:
I sighed in relief as I heard the bell ring. I slowly raised from my chair alongside Jack, and started packing up my things until Ms.Belle tapped on the chalkboard.
"Elsa? Jack? Please stay back for a minute. I have to talk to you both."
The entire class turned to us in curiosity, and I semi-successfully managed to cover my eyes with my bangs to avoid any sort of eye-contact with anyone.
"What did we do wrong?" I whispered to Jack, who looked just as worried as me.
"I don't know," He said. "But whenever Ms.Belle calls someone out, it's usually not good."
I shuddered and waited for the entire class to leave until there were just the three of us.
"Come here you two, I'm not gonna bite!" Ms.Belle laughed.
That's what they all say.
"W-Why did you want to see us, Ms.Belle?" Jack asked.
"I understand that Jack has been unwell for the past few months," Ms.Belle started. "And I was just asking you both if you still want to continue the play?"
"Play?" We both said simultaneously. Ms.Belle raised her eyebrow.
"Did you two really forget about the end-of-semester play? The one that you both wrote together?"
Jack and I looked at each other in bewilderment, then turned to face Ms.Belle, who had a small frown on her face.
"Uhh, you see, Ms," I stuttered. "Jack and I have been a little...occupied for the past few months, with Jack being in the hospital and all, so we didn't really stop to think of the play, because we got so caught up in what we were doing."
She looked me in the eyes for a minute, until she looked back down to a sheet of paper on her desk. "Do you still want to do the play?" Ms.Belle asked. "I'll be happy to give you both bonus points if you do it."
I turned to look at Jack, and he gave me a slight nod, which I solemnly returned. I faced Ms.Belle again and smiled.
"We'll be glad too."
---TIME SKIP---
"Hey Els," Anna chirped, hauling herself up onto a thick branch. It had felt like ages since I last sat in our special little hideout, and though we didn't have a reason to stay in it now, we decided to keep it going for a few more months at least. Plus, we had Eragna now, since she joined the school the same day Jack and I came back, but unfortunately she wasn't present, saying she had something to do and toddled all the way back to school. I just gave her a suspicious look before heading to the others.
"Hey Anna," I grinned, stealing a gummy bear from Merida's packet. Punzie giggled but hid herself behind the massive chocolate-chip cookie she was devouring.
We're all so healthy, I know.
"HEY!" Merida yelled, grasping for the gummy bear, but immediately bounced back when she almost slid off of her branch. I smirked and popped the bear in my mouth, with a grumpy Merida glaring at me as she scoffed down the rest before I could steal any more.
"So Elsie," Anna said, a slight sly-undertone in her voice. I raised my eyebrow at her suspiciously.
"Yes?"
"Are you and Jack a thing now?" She asked, swinging her legs wildly. "Has he asked you to be his girlfriend yet?"
I almost choked on the lone gummy bear and quickly gulped it down. "What?!"
"She's right, Els," Punzie said, finishing off her cookie. "Has he asked you to be his Girlfriend?"
"Who said she couldn't ask him to be her Boyfriend?" Mer asked. "It's 2018, it's not weird."
"No one has asked anyone to be their whatever," I mumbled, picking off a piece of bark from the tree. "We haven't even mentioned anything about dating."
"Why don't you?" Mer asked. "It's obvious you two have feelings for each other."
"Or maybe it's just me," I sighed. "Maybe he's interested in someone else."
"Elsie," Anna said firmly. "Do you see the way he looks at you?"
"No, because I'm too busy looking at him," I replied, inspecting the piece of bark carefully.
"Name one girl he could be interested in," Punzie shot back.
"I'm not a mind-reader," I said picking off a piece of the bark.
"When was the last time he had a girlfriend?" Mer asked.
"When I was still locked up in my room in Arendelle, isolating myself from any part of civilisation," I sighed, allowing the crumpled pieces of bark to fall onto the grassy floor.
They all stared at me, incredulous, until the piercing shriek of the bell reached our ears. I hopped down and grabbed my backpack from the foot of the tree.
"I have calculus now, but I'll see you guys later," I replied quietly, before heading back into the school.

Jack's P.O.V
"Have you asked Elsa to be your girlfriend yet?" Eugene asked, chewing on a french fry. I almost choked on my burger and had to swallow it down with some soda.
"What?" I spluttered.
"Have you asked Elsa to be your--"
"I heard you," I snapped.
"So why the long wait, Frost?" Kristoff joined in. "It's been months."
"She can always ask him to be her Boyfriend," Hiccup replied, lifting his head up from his book. "It's 2018."
"Yeah, but it would just be fun to watch Frosty begging on his knees for Elsa's hand," Eugene smirked. I glared at him and he raised his hands up in surrender.
"Easy there, boy."
"Even if I did ask Elsa," I said. "I don't think she'd say yes."
Eugene almost choked on his fry, Kristoff almost broke the table, and Hiccup almost ripped his book in half.
A little too dramatic, don't you think?
"WHY?!" They yelled.
"Do you NOT remember what happened 3 months back?" I asked. "Where I embarrassed her in front of the majority of the student body and allowed her to be almost killed by my psycho-Boyfriend of a Cousin?"
"The past is on the past," Kristoff shrugged. "She doesn't seem too bothered about it now."
"But I still feel bad about it," I said, slumping down in my seat.
"Maybe you should plan something BIG," Eugene said. "Something that would make her forget about anything that you did in the past. For a while anyway."
"I would, but I just don't know what," I said.
We all thought for a moment until Hiccup hit a eureka.
"Jack, you're still doing the play with Elsa, right?"
I raised my eyebrow and nodded, and Hiccup's eyes lit up in excitement.
"Tell Eragna, Merida, Anna and Punzie to meet us at Freezy's Diner," Hiccup said to us. "I have an idea."
---TIME SKIP---
Anna's P.O.V
I was in the middle of a boring lecture with Ms.Gothel, until I heard the quiet vibration of my phone. Surprised, I pretended to look for something in my pencil case underneath my desk, and saw who texted me.
Kristoff: Hey Anna, tell the others to meet us at Freezy's Diner. Don't bring Elsa.
Confused, I texted back.
Me: Why?
Kristoff: At this point you might just call Jack your brother-in-law.
Me: HE'S GONNA PROPOSE?!?!
Kristoff: No, but we'll tell you the plan later. Just make sure Elsa doesn't catch us.
Me: Gotcha.
"Ms.Winters," Ms.Gothel said loudly. "You seem to be taking an awfully Long time looking through your pencil case."
I smiled at her and grabbed a random eraser. "Sorry Ms.Gothel! I was just having a hard time finding my rubber! Yeah, rubber."
She gave me a suspicious look before sighing and returning to the board. I grinned and began to daydream about how this day was going to unravel.
You better nail this Frost.
---TIME SKIP---
"You what?" Elsa asked as we slowly walked out of school.
"I have to meet up with one of my classmates to work on a project," I said, clinging tightly onto my backpack. I was silently hoping that she didn't notice the slight nervousness laced within my voice.
"Okay," she replied, but I knew she was slightly doubtful.
"And Eragna said she's busy too," I mentioned, since Eragna was probably already with the others. "She has to stay back to finish off some class work."
"We'll come back together before dinner, so you don't have to worry," I said quickly, hugging her and waving goodbye. She waited for a few minutes, thinking to herself before walking out of the campus. I waited until she disappeared around a corner before I headed to the back of the school, where I saw the rest.
"What took you so long?" Jack asked.
"I was distracting your wife," I grumbled, before standing next to Eragna. I noticed the slight tinted-red that started to form on Jack's cheeks and silently started cackling.
"Kristoff, what did you tell her?" Jack whispered, but loud enough for all of us to hear.
"Your plan," Kristoff replied, smirking. He looked at me and I turned a little bit red myself, and I looked down to avoid his gaze.
"So how do we exactly get to second-base, Frost?" Merida asked. "You're already friends."
"I still feel bad about what happened a few months back," Jack admitted, scratching the back of us neck. Eragna and I both looked at each other with 'the look'.
Damn right you should be, Frost.
"So I want to ask her out in such a way that she'll see through everything that I've done, and forgive me," Jack continued.
"She already has forgiven you," Punzie pointed out.
"Yeah, but her saying yes, I think, might make me forgive myself," Jack said quietly. We all fell silent, staring at him.
"Well then," Hiccup said. "Let's get started."
We spent around 2 hours planning out Elsa's surprise, and by the time the sun started to set, we had created an amazing way for Jack to ask Elsa out.
When Eragna and I said goodbye to the others, we returned home and ate dinner with Elsa. After I bid them goodnight, I walked into my room and hopped into my giraffe onesie and snuggled into bed.
"This better work, Frostie," were the last words that slipped from my mouth before I fell into a deep sleep.
