As soon as he left my room, tears rolled down my eyes...
I don't know why, but his behavior did hurt me...
No one ever talks to me like that..

Maa kisses my forehead...
'Good morning my princess... Please prepare your green tea by yourself today, I have to make waffles for Aayan....' she says
I huff internally ofcourse, because Maa doesn't like anyone speaking foul about Aayan...
He snatched my mother from me...
You will pay definitely for this one day...
I was boiling the water in the kettle when Maa spoke..
'You want waffles...?'
'I hate waffles...!' I snap
Maa sighs
'Ananya I know you are a responsible girl, but I also know that you don't like Aayan... I am not saying that you stand everything he says, but please remember that your behavior can hurt your Bade Papa as well... '
I sigh and again hug her..
'Why he is so mean...?'
Maa caresses my hair and sighs
'After your Badi Mummy left, he turned into an arrogant, reserved person... Who thinks everyone in this world is selfish.... '
There was sadness in her voice..

At the breakfast table...
Ved, Vansh, Aayan, Rudra, Viraj, Sayesha & Saanjh were waiting for breakfast and chatting among themselves
'Where is Annie, Kitty..?' Vansh asks Sayesha, she opens her mouth to say but her brother cuts her off
'Probably busy with make up...!' Viraj chuckled
Saanjh smacks his head, 'She is helping mummy in preparing breakfast...!' she says
'Whattt....!' The boys exclaim, except Aayan, who just sighed..
'Damn, I am not hungry... I'll eat in college canteen...' Rudra says getting up
'Mee too... ' Vansh says
'C'mon yaar Bhai, Di doesn't cook that bad, I loved the pancakes she made last time... ' Sayesha says
'It was an omelette.... ' Ved says and Aayan laughs at this
'Really...? It was tasty though...!' Sayesha flips her hair backwards
'Atleast, Tie those rope like thing... ' Viraj teases her
'Shut up you... ' Sayesha retorts
'Rudra Bhai, doesn't her hair remind you of Medusa.... ' Viraj says
'Yeah...You better don't tease her, or those snakes on her head will attack you....!' Rudra says getting up
'Ved Bhai...!' Sayesha whines
'Don't trouble my daughter both of you...' Arjun says taking his seat..
'Thank you Bade Papa... ' Sayesha grins
Jai, Sash, Adi and Ria join them for breakfast...
'Welcome sweety.... ' Arjun smiles and then looks at Vansh and Rudra who were ready to leave...
'Where are you two going...?' he asks
'We are getting late... ' Vansh lies
'For...?' Arjun enquires further
'They are lying Bade Papa, they don't want to eat breakfast prepared by Annie Di, that's why they are running away...!' Saanjh informs and both of them glare at her...
Arjun glares at them, specifically Vansh...
'Atleast she is trying to learn, you should appreciate your sister's effort, rather than discouraging her...' Arjun snaps
'Paa, you know how she cooks...' Vansh sighs
'She cooks way better than you... ' Arjun retorted
'It's not my job to cook... ' Vansh mutters
'Neither it's hers...!' Jai says and Aayan frowns
'Get back to your seat boys... ' Sash orders them and they quietly follow his orders
Ananya and Naina come out with the breakfast and Ria helps them in serving...
'What did my princess make today...?' Jai asked
'I didn't cook anything Bade Papa, I just helped Maa in making waffles... ' Ananya replied
'Thank god... ' The boys sighed and Arjun shot glares at everyone
'I did make tea though... ' Ananya says sarcastically 'And thank you for your kind encouragement... ' she says eyeing all of them, clearly avoiding Aayan who just rolled his eyes...
'You made Waffles, Di...? Good luck Aayan Bhai... ' Rudra chuckles earning a smack from Adi...
'They are good... ' Naina said serving the breakfast and Ananya takes seat far away from Aayan...
'Why are you sitting away from me Princess...?' Arjun asks
Aayan looks at her, and realises that he is sitting beside Arjun and Jai, and hence she deliberately avoided sitting with them...
'I am okay here Paa... ' She replies glancing at Aayan, who sighs with an irritated expression
Arjun and Jai understand that something is wrong between them, but didn't comment....
Soon everyone starts eating...
Arjun takes a sip of the Tea and realises that it has no sugar..
'How is the tea...?' Ananya asks
No one comments, as they didn't want to face Arjun's wrath for making her cry...
'It is good, But, do you know that there is an ingredient called sugar, that must be added in it...' Aayan says sarcastically and Ved, Vansh gulp
Arjun didn't say anything, while Jai gives a warning look to Aayan...
Ananya's eyes widen and she stares at her sisters questioningly who nod in affirmation....
'Why didn't you guys tell me !' Ananya whines
'Because we are on a diet, and we prefer tea without sugar, Right Bhai...?' Adi says
'Yeah... ' Arjun smiles
Ananya is at the verge of crying now, and Arjun panics seeing her like that
'It happens, no big deal...' Ved says
'Yeah... If you get married to a health freak, he will love your tea...!' Vansh says
'Shut up you... ' Arjun scolds him.
'It's okay princess... Don't cry, it is good like really... ' Jai says
'You are still a crybaby... ' Aayan comments and the guys are alarmed as Arjun doesn't like anyone talking to Ananya like that
'Aayan... ' Jai warns
Ananya's guilt now turns into anger...
'Really, than you shouldn't eat the waffles made by this crybaby... ' Ananya retorts
'I don't want to... I'll eat the ones prepared by my Mom... ' Aayan says coolly
'Listen you.... ' Ananya begins and everyone brace themselves for a fight
'Enough both of you !' Naina intervenes in between
'Yeah, don't fight over this petty issue...' Ria says..
'No Maa, It's not a fight... ' Rudra says
Everyone look at him confused, except Aayan who eats his waffles
'It's Aayan Bhai's old trick, whenever Annie di is about to cry, he will make her angry, so that she forgets being sad and fight with him, he would always do this when we were kids...' Rudra explains
Arjun smiles at this and Ananya is shocked, she looks at Aayan who shrugs his shoulders and continues his work without looking at her...
Rest of the breakfast is a silent affair, when Saanjh hesitantly looks at Shashank..
'Papa...?' she says
'Yeah... ' Sash replies engrossed in newspaper...
'Mom called yesterday... ' she says in a low voice
Sash grips the newspaper, wheras his brothers stiffen...
Viraj stops eating his breakfast, and Adi holds his hands protectively...
'So...?' Sash asks non chalantly, trying to control his emotions...
'She is getting awarded for her research in MDR - TB drug, by World's largest Health Organisation... ' She says
'Okay...! So...?' Sash looks straight at her now and Saanjh gulps
'She wants Me and Viraj to attend the function at LA, next month... ' Saanjh says hesitantly, gripping Naina's hand for support...
Sash doesn't reply at this and his brothers look expectantly at him...
'Papa...?? Can we go...?' Saanjh asks gathering her courage...
'No... ' Sash says
And Saanjh's eyes fill with tears...
Adi, glares at Sash and Viraj fists his hands....
'Sash, don't be so hard...' Arjun says
'What....? She asked me whether they can go or not, I said no, now obeying this is totally up to them, Even if she goes, I don't care... ' Sash says
'Sash... ' Adi began
'I don't want to go anywhere... ' Viraj says angrily and leaves the table..
Sash looks at his son's retreating figure and then sighs..
'I am getting late, see you in the office Bhai... ' Sash says and turns to his daughter
'You better focus on your studies Saanjh, don't waste your time by travelling unnecessarily... ' he says and leaves
Saanjh hugs Naina and begins crying on her shoulders..
'It's okay Baby, I will talk to him, Don't cry... ' Naina consoles her
'Yeah beta, don't worry we will send you to LA... Stop crying.... ' Arjun says
Saanjh wipes her tears and Ananya feels bad about it...
She knows how to make Saanjh smile
'You know what, Kitty, let's go out... All three of us.. ' Ananya exclaims and other stare at her shocked...
Her sister look at her confused and then plays along after getting the signal...
'Yeah, let's go to the mall... ' Sayesha exclaims
'Yeah ! What about City centre ? Will have chocolate ice cream there... ' Ananya asks looking at Saanjh
'Yeah, and Donuts and Burger from the cafe too... ' Sayesha Exclaims
'Eww no ! They taste very bad, We will go to CP... ' Saanjh says sniffing and Naina smiles
'Okay... CP it is...But snot faces are not allowed there... ' Ananya hugs Saanjh, after wiping her tears and Saanjh smiles
Aayan gets impressed by her capability of making sad Saanjh smile within seconds and Arjun and Jai look proudly at her..
