Jared entered his apartment and shut the door quietly. He had gotten bullied for being nerdy. Again. He didn't wanna tell Alana, he wasn't ready. He tiptoed down to hall to the bathroom when he felt someone's presence. He broke into a nervous sweat and cautiously turned around. Alana leaned against the wall, arms crossed, with a serious face.
"Jared, what happened?" Alana stated.
"Ummm... I fell?" Jared stuttered.
Alana walked over to Jared and straightened his cracked glasses. His hair was messy and his clothes were muddy.
"Jared..."
Alana placed her hand softly on Jared's arm. Jared was tense.
"I got in a fight." Jared muttered.
Alana gripped Jared's arm and lead him to the laundry room.
Jared took off his shirt and threw it in the washer.
"With how dirty that is, we'll need to bleach it." Alana said.
At that moment, they heard a bang from the front of the house. They rushed to the front door. They saw Connor panting.
"DiD sOmEoNe SaY bLeAcH?!" Connor screetched.
Jared grabbed Alana into his arms and backed up.
"Umm.... maybe." Jared said.
Connor ran into the laundry room and came out with a bottle of bleach, popping the cap off.
"Dont...." Alana slowly approached Connor.
Connor pulled the gallon to his mouth.
"nO!" Someone screamed.
Zoe ran from the front door and tackled Connor. Connor squealed and fell to the ground. The gallon of bleach spilled.
"CONNOR MURPHY! DO NOT DRINK THAT BLEACH!" Zoe screamed.
Connor tried to push his sister off, but couldn't.
Jared and Alana just watched, with the door open. It would be weird to walk into two teenagers fighting, bleach spilled everywhere, and another shirtless teenager.
"Get off!" Connor said, "You're being too touchy! I don't do touchy!"
Zoe got off him. Connor scrambled to get up. His sweater was stained with bleach. He took it off and threw it onto Jared's couch.
Just then, Evan passed by, carrying a box labeled fragile in red. He looked at them and tried to wave.
"What's happening?" He asked.
"GET OUT!" Jared and Alana screamed.
Evan almost dropped the box.
"Okay, okay!" He stuttered, walking away.
Zoe snatched Connor's sweater and marched off, taking Connor with her. She pulled his grey shirt as they walked.
"Nooo! NOOO!" Connor screamed, "THE BLEACH!"
Zoe dragged Connor and pushed him out the doorway.
"Sorry about him, he hasn't had any booze lately." She said before closing the door.
Jared and Alana stared at eachother. There was bleach everywhere.
"Jared, clean it up. You're the man here." She kissed his cheek.
"Can't. Can't see." He grinned, even it it was partly true.
"I have 3 extra pairs of glasses in the closet. You want more?" Alana leaned her head sideways and smiled innocently.
Jared groaned and grabbed a mop. "Well played."
