Your P.O.V.
"Hi Aika how was school?" I asked as Aika got in the backseat.
She hung her head low. "Fine." She said.
"Is something bothering you?"
She shook her head. I nodded then started to drive home.
"Wasn't dad supposed to pick me up?" She asked.
"He's working overtime tonight." I said.
"Um mommy..."
"What is it?"
"When can I see Akihiko again?" She asked.
I smiled at her. "We could see him this weekend if you want." I said.
She put on a small smile then nodded.
I drove her home but when we got there I felt bad for letting Ino handling my problem when she probably has enough problems of her own.
I thought about it a little longer then decided to go see Ino and Pain.
I should probably call Aika's babysitter Tenten to watch Aika.
"Aika I'm gonna call your Tenten to come over and watch you for a while. Is that alright?" I aksed.
She nodded then went up stairs.
I called the Tenten and when she arrived I said goodbye to Aika then drove back to work.
Ino's car was still there so she must be inside right now talking to Pain.
I got out of the car and walked into the quiet office building.
When I finally reached Pain's office he wasn't there neither was Ino. I looked around until I saw a figure with orange hair.
The figure moved closer and I immediately recognized the person.
"(y/n) what are you still doing here?" Pain asked.
"Oh actually I was looking for you and Ino. Did she come by your office yet?" I asked.
"No she didn't. Did you two need to discuss something with me?"
"Actually yes I do. It's about Itach-"
"Pain are you ready yet?" Suddenly Pain's wife Konan comes into view. I met Konan at a office party Pain invited me to. They've been married for at least two years I believe.
She was wearing a beautiful black dress that fit her body perfectly with small white pearls that surrounded her neck. I didn't notice it before but Pain was wearing what looked like a very expensive suit.
We're they going on a date or something?
"Do you think we could wait a little longer?" Pain asked Konan.
"Yeah sure that's fine. What seems to be the probl-"
"It's nothing actually. You two go on ahead and enjoy your night." I said.
"Are you sure (y/n)?" He asked.
"I'm sure."
"Ok then."
"I'm should be getting home to my daughter so I'll see you tomorrow. Good night."
"Good night." He said.
I nodded to Konan with a smile. She smiled back then I left to Ino's office.
When I got there I knocked on her door.
No answer.
I knocked again and still no answer.
I turned the handle and walked into an empty office.
Where could she be?
I checked my watch and saw that it was getting late.
I went home and tried to call Ino while I was still in my car.
I tried calling her three times and there was no answer. She always answers her calls. I hope she's alright.
I walked inside my house only to be greeted by Aika's babysitter Tenten with a plate of food in her hands.
"Welcome home Mrs. Uchiha." She said smiling happily.
"Please Tenten just call me (y/n) remember." I said.
"Oh right my bad." She giggled.
"Where's Aika?" I asked.
"Oh she's in the living room listening to my ipod again reading a book."
"That's good. I see your cooking the recipe I taught you."
"Yeah I thought I'd give it a try. Is that alright with you?"
"It's fine. I'm starving! I can't wait to try it." I said.
"Ok well should we be expecting Sasuke for dinner?" She asked.
"No he's working overtime tonight."
"*yawn* I'm hungry." Sasuke walks into the kitchen.
"Sasuke? I didn't even hear you come in. How was work?" I asked him.
"Stressful. I finished everything up faster than expected."
"I'll make another plate for you Sasuke." Tenten said before returning to the food.
"Where's Aika?" He asked.
"Over there." I pointed to where Aika was sitting.
Sasuke walked over to Aika and kissed the top of her small head head catching Aika by suprise.
Aika pulled out the ear buds from Tenten's ipod and looked up at her father.
"Hey Aika." Sasuke said to her.
"Daddy? Your home now?" She said.
"Yeah." He said. She smiled at him.
He picked Aika up off the ground then carried her to the table where dinner was ready.
We ate peacefully with Tenten for at least an hour.
"Well I should probably go home now. My mother is probably waiting for me." Tenten said.
She grabbed her bag and said bye to Aika. Aika said goodbye back.
"Thankyou Tenten for dinner. It was delicious." I said.
"Yes thankyou." Sasuke said too.
"It was no problem." Tenten said.
"Tenten do you have a ride?" I asked.
"No but I could walk to the bus stop. It's not that far from here." She said.
"We can't have you walking alone out there at this time of night." I said.
"Yeah it's not safe." Sasuke added.
"Tenten would you like to stay here?" Aika asked.
Tenten smiled at her offer. "I would like to but I have school tomorrow." She said.
"Yeah but *yawn*" Aika rubbed her eyes.
"Sasuke why don't you drive Tenten home while I get Aika in bed." I said.
He nodded then grabbed his car keys.
"Thankyou. I'll see you two later then." Tenten said.
The two left the house while I put Aika to bed.
After she finally fell asleep I tried to call Ino once again. Still no answer.
Maybe she's asleep or something.
Sasuke came home and layed in bed next to me.
"So how was your day." He asked staring up at the ceiling with his hands crossed behind his head.
"It was fine but I'm kinda getting worried about Ino." I said.
"Why? What happened?" He asked.
"She was supposed to be at the office awhile ago but I couldn't find her. I tried to call her but she didn't answer. It's odd because she always answers my calls."
"Hm. Maybe she was busy or her phone died." He said.
"Yeah I guess."
"Get some sleep (y/n). I'll drop Aika off at school tomorrow. You can pick her up after school if that's ok."
"Yeah that's fine."
Sasuke moved closer to me and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Good night (y/n). I love you."
"I love you too Sasuke. Good night."
