The last thing you remembered was a gun being pointed at you and then a searing pain shot through the side of your stomach that made you fall to the ground in the woods. You heard Stiles yell your name as he ran towards you, everything seemed blurry as the pain spread through your body.
Suddenly his arms were under you and lifting you onto his lap, he ran his fingers through your hair, "y/n...it's gonna be okay, I promise." He tried to remain calm but his heart was nearly beating out of his chest at the thought of losing you, he took off his flannel revealing a black t-shirt underneath as he pressed the material against the wound where blood was pouring from.
You looked up at him and smiled weakly, "Stiles..."
"Y/n, Scotts on his way, he's gonna help you." He said, his voice was shaking as he tried to remain calm.
"Stiles..." you tried again, you desperately needed to tell him something if this was the last chance you'd get, "I- I need to tell you something."
Stiles furrowed his eyebrows, "what?"
"I'm in love with you." You said quietly, struggling to breath.
Stiles stared at you in awe, he never thought he'd hear the girl he'd had a crush on for three years say those words, "you love me?"
You nodded, smiling up at him despite the pain.
"Listen, y/n, you're going to live alright? I don't want you saying anything you don't mean, I mean you must be in a lot of pain right now..." he stumbled over his words.
"I mean it, Stiles."
His heart skipped a beat, "I love you too, y/n." He looked down at you sadly, the girl he loved was lying in front of him dying and he couldn't do anything. He grabbed his phone, "come on, Scott." He muttered under his breath.
Leaves crunched behind Stiles and he turned around and he'd never been more happier to see Scott, "Scott! A little help over here?"
Scott ran over to you and tried to take your pain, his veins turned dark as he did so.
"Is it working? Please tell me it's working!" Stiles panicked.
Scott looked down at you as you seemed to get paler by the moment, "do something, Scott!" Stiles urged.
He glanced between you and Stiles, seeing the desperation in his friends eyes, he nodded and leaned down towards you slowly, lifting up your arm and let his fangs sink deeply into your skin.
"Did it work?" Stiles asked gripping your free hand.
"I don't know." Scott looked doubtful but he hoped that he could save you, since he couldn't save the love of his life.
Stiles held you close to him as he watched your eyes flutter slightly, "please stay with me, y/n..."
You suddenly felt your body start to slow down, your chest rose and fell slowly, Scott looked away as his best friend held onto you.
"Please, y/n..." a tear ran down his cheek and fell onto yours that were already wet with tears.
"It's okay, Stiles." You smiled slightly, looking at the boy you loved before your eyes closed.
"No, no, no," Stiles mumbled, "Scott?" He looked up at his friend who shook his head.
More tears fell as Stiles held you in his arms, he didn't notice when your chest started to rise again, Scott turned to face you and Stiles as he heard your heart start beating again.
"Stiles?" You murmured as you opened your eyes, he squeezed his eyes shut thinking that it was just his imagination.
"You're not real, stop." He whispered, shaking his head.
"Stiles?" You said again, "open your eyes."
He opened one eye slowly, then the other, his jaw dropped as he saw you looking back at him with bright yellow eyes.
"Y/n!" He gasped, pulling you up and wrapping his arms around you.
Scott couldn't help but smile as he watched his two best friends together.
You turned to Scott, "thank you, Scott. You saved me."
"I'm glad you're okay." He smiled before turning to leave, leaving you both alone.
"So, did you really mean it?" Stiles asked.
You turned to face him and smiled, "of course I did, Stilinski." You said before leaning forward and kissing him softly.
When you pulled away Stiles grinned, "wow."
"You know, you saved me too, Stiles... thank you." You wrapped your arms around him and he lay his head on top of yours.
"Well, it was really Scott..." he tried to say but you laughed quietly into his shirt.
"Oh shush, Stiles. You called Scott, so without you Scott wouldn't have made me into this." You pulled away and showed him your glowing eyes.
"They suit you," He smiled as he pressed a kiss onto your forehead, "come on, lets go home."
