It was there beneath the stars that the Collective gathered, watching on in wonderment as the pinpoints rearranged themselves as if by thought. Though reluctant to cast her gaze back down upon those she would leave behind in this plane, the words they spelled out caught Magistra's eye:

Dear Emily, our beloved Magistra. I'm not as talented with turns of phrase or funny as some of our more talented PC-mates, so I'll stick with what I'm good at--honesty.
You're amazing, Emily. You're kind of a big deal. Not merely because of your talent at writing or your organizing capacity, but because of your eagerness to welcome new people with open arms and accept them as friends. You welcomed me to the Ouija Board of Directors when I was a newly-badged ambassador and you did it with incredible enthusiasm and glee from our first conversation. I can't express how much the excitement you demonstrated has inspired me to keep writing and keep creating even when I think I have nothing to give that anybody else might want. You made me believe I have a chance at being good at this writing gig. You made me believe that somebody out there in the vast universe of the internet might be interested in what I have to say. So, as a retirement gift, I can only return the favor: You're magnificent, you're talented, and you have so much to say. I can't wait to hear and read every word of it.

I'll never forget Lynn approaching me about writing for Necrocity Times Issue #1 and then hearing from the Magistra herself shortly after, with the invitation to write again. I'd just finished work and sat down in my car beaming at the opportunity, and right away began exchanging lengthy messages with you over Wattpad about everything and anything. I quickly learned you were the kind of person I wanted to look up to; somebody with drive, leadership, a heart of gold and an arsenal of (mostly terrible) puns (but like hell would I change you). You've helped me grow so much as a person. You've given me mounds of confidence and belief in myself, both on and off Wattpad, and I can say with sincerity I would not be the same person if you hadn't realised my potential and made me believe it. So now that the sappy bit's out the way, here are two things that get you through the rainy days:

When I was a fledgling Ambassador trying to find my place on Wattpad, you, Magistra, gave me one. I was so blown away by your sheer imaginative power. Under your leadership that the WPRS went from Wattpad's best kept secret to Wattpad's most exposed secret, and no wonder! The world you created is one everybody wants to live in, even if it's inhabited by ghosts and monster as well as WPRS agents. You may be retiring, but you have left us with a legacy. Thank you for your years of hard work. Retire In Peace!

EM! You beautiful amazing person. Two years back when I first joined the ambs, I was a total noob who had no clue what to expect, that's when you took me in. From all my horrible mistakes to erratic schedules- you've accepted it all with a welcoming heart that remained open. You've said the board was like your family, those words still make me a warm gooey puddle. You've listened to my deepest secrets, worried after me and given me the courage to be flawed. Whether through your PC initiatives or your own writing, I'm always inspired. Thank you for being you Em, for being one of the truest friends I've ever had. Thank you for giving me the boost I needed to fit into my lgbt colors. You are a mighty dragon, and you're gonna own this world! And I'm glad I get to be even a tiny part of that story 🙂

Anything that celebrates the darker, shadowy wide of writing and literature is a wonderful thing for me, and the profile showcases not only that, but also your enthusiasm for a style of writing you so obviously love. Paranormal Community is a great example to others of what can be achieved for the good of the Wattpad Community. Wonderfully done.

Hi Em! I remember when I first met you when the whole ambassador gang was still collaborating in Facebook. I wanted to work with you in a music profile that you wanted to establish, but I guess it fell through. However, we made our own profiles and the rest is history. *smiles* But I'm glad we can still talk to each other in Facebook, as we discuss your furry friends!
I'm afraid I don't know a lot of Paranormal stories, because in truth it does scare me, but over the two years I've been an ambassador, you and others have allowed me to view stories in a different light! I even recall when I first came aboard Wattpad, I vowed to never read a scary story - oh, how times have changed! LOL!
And I won't forget you on your Ouija board members gang ... I love that name! ... One October I will dedicate a story to you mentioning the ouija board, for I did mess with one in high school and due to that situation, I will never want to go near one again! Gave me goosebumps! Hehehe!
So, anyway my friend ... Happy Retirement Em! We'll miss you! Your legacy still lives on as a Paranormal Ambassador and I'm sure you loved my humor especially when I included you and your darling Chaos and the gang - in my parody Twas the night before Christmas last year! You can say I like to see people smile!

Hey Em ♥ God, I have been thinking about what to write to you because I am just terrible at these sort of things. So guess what? I still got no clue what to write ^_^;;
The WPRS was your idea and you quite literally put your heart and soul into this and it'll be strange to not have you around as the Magistra.
I know I haven't been a very active member, I named myself the Witch in the Attic for a reason (because here, you barely visit the attic, so everything there is old and dusty and long forgotten... Basically, you only go there to get the Christmas tree and to stuff it back after the holidays xD).
Still, I always enjoyed talking to you about the WPRS and to help out if I could in times of need—just like you do with the LGBTQ profile. I am going to miss you, but I'm pretty sure the puns and fun stuff you always shared with the rest of the team in the FB group won't stop ;)
... And neither will I stop talking to you on a personal level ♥ ♥ ♥
I love you and I hope that handing over the WPRS to the new Magister will give you more time to focus on your job and your own writing ♥ FotD begs to be published one day and I'm certain you will reach this goal :D
