Hello, Romance!
The Romance profile has grown so much over the years, but for those who haven't yet explored its pages, how would you describe what the Romance profile offers to Wattpad users?
The romance profile is the hub of what's happening in romance on Wattpad. We have contests, reading lists and writing challenges. There is a romance tips corner to help and inspire each other.
Recently we've also notified our users of possible items of interest on other official Wattpad profiles such as your wonderful #DeadlyKisses competition. A problem many encounter is getting their stories noticed and competitions like yours with promotional prizes are an excellent way of developing their author brand.
We congratulated the Wattys2016 winners and added their stories to our reading lists.
We aim for a friendly supportive community where we help each other to read and write romance. To that extent, we also don't allow people to use Romance for selfish self promotion.

Who doesn't love prizes and competitions! What would you say has been your most successful contest prompt and why? Do you have any particularly memorable entries?
Our competitions are really popular and each one is bigger than the last. Users even try to submit to them long after the entry date has closed.
Our most successful one was probably the #CollateralBeauty one in December 2016 where the prompt was to write a letter to love, death or time.
During #CollateralBeauty our account was taken over by Wattpad and the film promotion team for three weeks. Our profile picture and banner were changed for the duration. It was very exciting to be part of this as an ambassador on the account.
And there is likely to be more excitement, congratulations and must read material when the winning entries are announced and added to the #CollateralBeauty booklet on Romance.
