After saying goodbye to Dan and Locket at the event I walked over to where mum and dad were standing waiting for me.
Dan had to leave straight after the Event had ended so he could get back to the cottage and get Locket settled back in. I had already changed back into the clothes that I was wearing before I changed into my uniform, because Dan was taking my uniform back to the Cottage to wash and put away for next time.
I was walking over to my parents when I heard a voice behind me.
“Congratulations on your win Reagan” the voice said, I turned around and saw Mandy standing there smiling at me.
“Thanks Mandy congratulations on the wins you had in your events” I said back.
With that Macaulay, Miles and Ashton decided to come over where Mandy and I were talking.
“Reagan we will meet you at the car, don’t be too long” Macaulay said before walking off with the others.
“Ok won’t be long” I yelled back at Macaulay.
“Wow who are they?” Mandy said her mouth open, obviously checking out how good the guys looked.
I laughed before replying “my brothers”
“Are they your brothers, wow they are pretty good looking” she said still awestruck.
Obviously I couldn’t tell Mandy the situation so usually when Ashton and Miles are with us undercover they were our supposedly ‘brothers’.
“Uh thanks I guess” I said back unsure.
“Well they are good looking, sorry I just met you and I’m already checking out your brothers” she replied embarrassed.
“Don’t worry about it” I replied back.
“How old are they?” was the next question Mandy asked.
I raised my eyebrows at her before replying “Ashton is 27, Miles is 24 and Macaulay is 19”
“That makes you the youngest?” she asked me.
“Yes I’m the youngest unfortunately” I replied.
We were talking when I heard my name from a distance
“REAGAN HURRY UP WE HAVE TO GO” dad yelled this time.
I said goodbye to Mandy and exchanged numbers so we can keep in touch before I headed to the waiting car.
I got into the car before it started to rain and had to sit in the middle between Miles and Macaulay while mum and dad were in the front, Ashton was with Grandmother and Grandfather as we didn’t have enough seats to fit everyone since I was going home with them now and not with Dan.
“You took your time, you’re lucky you didn’t have to walk” Macaulay said
“That’s enough Macaulay, leave your sister alone she has had a big day” dad practically yelled at Macaulay.
That made Macaulay shut up. It didn’t take me long before I managed to fall asleep leaning on Miles shoulder for support.
We arrived back at the palace and I was carried in by Miles who took me straight to bed, after the long day I had bed was calling my name at the end of it. Miles walked into my room and placed me on my bed before leaving.
“Wait” I said to Miles just as he was about to close the door.
The door opened up a little bit and Miles stuck his head back in the door
“Yes Reagan?” he said
“Thank you for coming today, and taking me to bed” I whispered to him.
“You’re welcome now get some sleep” he said before closing the door, making my room now dark.

It was around mid morning when I finally woke up. Yesterday’s event had taken a toll on me physically. I winced as I got up out of bed and went and got changed.
I walked into the living room and saw dad sitting there reading the paper.
“Hey dad, where is everyone?” I asked sitting down on the armchair.
“good morning to you too, your mother decided that she wanted to go shopping and took Macaulay and Ashton with her, your Grandparents are around the palace I assume, Charla is probably with them and I have no idea where Miles is, how are you feeling?” dad said to me.
“Still tired and really sore” I simply replied.
“I’m still really proud of you, I was thinking if you’re not doing anything today maybe we can have a father daughter day?” dad casually asked me.
“I would love that” I said back.
Not long after we agreed Charla walked into the room.
“Good you’re up, come with me I have something for you, Chris is that okay with you?” Charla said.
I looked at dad unsure who just nodded before Charla grabbed me and pulled me out of the room.
“Sorry dad can I take a rain check” I said halfway out of the room.
“Of course you can Reagan” dad yelled out.
Charla continued to drag me up the stairs and towards her room.
“I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything with your dad before” she asked worried.
“No your fine, just a spur of the moment thing, anyway what did you need to give me?” I asked now unsure.
We walked into her room and I went and sat at the end of her bed waiting for Charla to get whatever she needed to get.
After what seemed like ages Charla walked over to me and stood in front of me holding up a bag.
“What’s this?” I asked looking at the large purple bag in her hands.
“Just something I got you for your awesome efforts yesterday” she said putting the bag in my lap.
“Charla you didn’t have to get me anything, just you being there was enough” I said still looking at the bag in my lap.
“Yes I did, you are like a sister to me I had to get you something special” Charla said sitting next to me on the bed.
“Thankyou”
“No problem, well aren’t you going to open it, I put a lot of effort into this so you better like it” Charla said smiling at me.
I opened the bag and looked inside. Inside the bag were all my favourite lollies, a horse shoe necklace and a photo frame with a picture of the two of us in it.
“Oh my god Charla thank you, I love it” I said giving Charla a hug.
“No worries Hun glad you liked it, good job for yesterday” she replied giving me a smile.
We staying in Charla’s room talking and catching up for a few hours, until a knock on the door stopped us.
Charla went and answered it, while I put the things Charla got me back into the bag. Charla called out to me “Reagan it’s for you” I got up and walked to the door and saw Miles standing there.
“Hey what’s up?” I casually asked him.
“Just came to ask if you have packed your bag yet” Miles responded.
“Ah don’t remind me, I was just about to go what time are we leaving?” I asked.
“Your dad said you were to be ready by 9am” Miles said looking at me.
“well I best get going then” I said walking over to the bed and getting the bag before saying bye to Charla and told her that I would see her after I packed which she agreed, before heading out the door with Miles.
The time at the palace was coming to an end we still had another three weeks left of our stay but we were going back to the cottage for the rest of it as our formal duties at the palace were done.
