This is basically the same story of the Harry Potter books tampered a little bit to give more importance to Hermione.As if the things that happened to Harry,occurred with Hermione instead and the incidents are changed to suit the love story better.And also new things are included(of course).The students are a little older(so that the Snamione relationship doesn't look totally pedophilic),and the staff mostly knows and approves of the relation and Harry or Ron doesn't have any interest in Hermione or doesn't have a problem with the relation whatsoever.
