Cyd POV
I can't believe that today I'm going to ask Naldo to the dance I can't wait

As Cyd and Shelby walked into the school Cyd was shaking up a storm
"Cyd it going to be ok I'm pretty sure Naldo going to say yes!" Shelby said
"Shelby how do you know?" Cyd said
"How do I know well you like him he likes you see there's no difference" Shelby said then Naldo came over
"Hey guys meet my new girlfriend Chloe" Naldo said
"Hi I'm Chloe you guys must be Cyd and Shelby" Chloe said holding out her hand
"Yep she Cyd I'm Shelby" Shelby said
"Did you know that Chloe used to take dance when she was little" Naldo said
"Wow, what does she have a thing I don't have a thing!" Cyd said frowning
"It's ok you will have one" Chloe said then she walked away and Naldo walked away with her
"See shelbs I'm to late he has a pretty girlfriend and I don't have a date to the dance" Cyd said sitting down at a table
"Don't worry you'll find one" Shelby said rubbing Cyd's back then Barry came over
"Hey what wrong Cyd?" Barry said concerned
"She's sad about Naldo" Shelby said
"He has a nice, pretty and talented girlfriend while I have nobody" Cyd said
"Hey Shelby may I speak to you?" Barry said
"Sure Barry what is it?" Shelby said
"Why don't we give Cyd a blind date for the dance" Barry said
"Barry that's a great idea lets do that" Shelby said
"Ok well I have this guy name Elliot in my technology class that she could go with" Barry said
"Ok that's a great idea" Shelby said then they left

Friday night the dance
At Cyd and Shelby house
"Ok Cyd you have to go" Shelby said
"No I don't want to see Naldo with Chloe" Cyd said as she wined
"Yes you have a date" Shelby said
"Huh?" Cyd asked
"You'll find out now let go" Shelby said then Cyd got up and Shelby threw her a dress at her "now get changed!" Shelby said then Cyd walked into the bathroom

After a 20 minute dress she got done

"Ok Cyd are your ready?" Shelby asked
"I guess." Cyd said
"Ok now let's go Barry and Elliot should be here any minute" Shelby said then she walked downstairs
"Elliot who Elliot?"Cyd said then they walked downstairs

Downstairs
As the girls went downstairs they saw two guys walk in
"Cyd I would like you to meet Elliot." Barry said
"Hey Cyd." Elliot said with a charming smile just like Naldo
"Hi Elliot." I say with a smile
"Ok well let's go" Shelby said then they all left

At the dance
When they arrived they all walked in and so Cyd thought that she would make Naldo jealous even though she is at the dance with one if Barry's techno friend so when they walked in they weren't doing anything so Cyd thought she would make a move so she did what she did she grabbed Elliot's hand and Elliotlooked at her with a confused face
"Hey why are you holding my hand?" Elliot asked
"Oh I'm trying to make someone jealous." Cyd said
"Oh ok." Elliot said

And so as they were holding hands Naldo came over
"Hey Cyd um who this?" Naldo asked
"Oh this is my date Elliot." Cyd said
"Hi you must be Naldo Cyd told me everything about you." Elliot said
"Really! Cyd I need to talk to you." Naldo said
"I'll be right back Elliot." Cyd said then she followed Naldo

With Cyd and Naldo
After Cyd followed Naldo she saw that they were in a janitor closet
"Naldo why are we in her-" Cyd asked then she got cut off by Naldo giving her a kiss then after 5 minutes they pulled away "what was that for?" Cyd asked with a smile
"Listen Cyd all I wanted was to go to the dance with you." Naldo said
"But your here with Chloe." Cyd said
"Not anymore I broke up with her because I wanted to go with you as your boyfriend but I didn't expect you to be here with someone else." Naldo said
"Naldo he not my boyfriend Shelby and barry were playing me a blind date see we aren't even dating." Cyd said
"Then why did you hold his hand?" Naldo asked
"I was faking it." Cyd said
"Ok well Cyd Ripley would you give me the honor of being my date to the prom?...even though if it is to late!" Naldo said
"I would love to." Cyd said then they kissed again

Hey what a wonderful ending I have a feeling I keep saying that on every halter if this book anyway I will probably be updating a lot of my books today because I'm out of school because I'm sick so yea well anyway bye
