I sat with Rayne and Lauren as we sat on the couch and talked about my latest and next plans for Jayda.
Lauren: So lemme get this straight , you got two guys to rape Jayda , in her own home.
Me: Yeah.
Lauren: Why.
I cupped her soft face in my hands.
Me: I'm doing this for us baby. For you. You deserve better then Jayda. She deserves this because of what she did to you.
Lauren: But she never physically hurt me.
Me: Just emotionally and that's worst than physically.
She sighed and looked down.
Lauren: Okay.
Me: I love you.
Lauren: I know.
I smiled and pecked her lips.
Rayne: So what's next?
Me: With what?
Rayne: Jayda and them.
Me: Well right now , we just lay back and watch this scene unfold.
Lauren mumbled something.
Me: Speak up love.
Lauren: I-I want something to happen to Jayden too.
I furrowed my eyebrows.
Me: Why Jayden.
Lauren looked down and played with her fingers.
Lauren: She took Jayda away from me.
I grabbed her hand and squeezed.
Me: Alright baby. What do you wanna do to her?
She shrugged her shoulders.
Rayne: You wanna start with something small?
She nodded while playing with our entwined fingers.
Me: Like what baby?
She shrugged again.
Lauren: Maybe get somebody to trash her house.
Me: Okay , we can arrange for that to be done. Anything else?
Lauren: No. That's enough for now.
Me: Alright baby , I'll get on that now.
I grabbed my phone and began texting Snake.

Kayla pulled into a space and parked then cut the engine.
Me: You good?
She looked over at me.
Kayla: No.
She got out and began walking into the hospital. I got out and locked the doors from the inside then ran after her. I saw her come into view and just trailed behind her , beginning to walk.
I figured she was going to say anything cause Jayda's in the hospital , so I just walked behind her.
She led us to the waiting room where I saw Skylar , Rosa Jayden and Anna. She sat on the other side of Skylar and I sat a few seat down from her. I crossed my left leg over my right and leaned my head on my wrist. I looked at Kayla as she stared into space , not looking at anything in particular.
I closed my eyes and ended up falling asleep.

I felt somebody shaking me. I opened my eyes and looked into Kayla's brown/hazel ish eyes.
Me: What?
Kayla: C'mon. We can go see her now.
Me: The doctor came out already?
Kayla: Yeah.
Me: What they say?
Kayla: Jayda is in really bad condition. She was raped for one. She has severe bruising on her lower body and her hymen is really damaged , she may have to get it removed. Which is a procedure called hymenectomy. If the doctor doesn't see a healing process by a week , they are gonna take her into surgery to remove her hymen.
I shook my head.
Me: Damn , I can't even imagine the pain she's feeling right now.
Kayla: Yeah , nobody can. C'mon.
I got up and we walked to Jayda's room which took us a good 3 and a half minutes. We walked in and saw Jayden sitting beside her bed holding her hand as Jayda slept and Skylar sitting on the other side of the bed with Rosa on her lap while Anna sat in the chair beside Skylar's while eating a yogurt. Kayla sat on the end on the bed and I sat in the other seat , which was beside Jayden's.
Jayden: I should've never let her leave man. This is all my fucking fault.
Rosa: He's in our basement.
Skylar: What?
Rosa: One of the guys who raped her , he's in our basement with bullet holes in his knees and his partner or friend is down there too , except he's dead.
Jayden: Why didn't you say something earlier?
Rosa: Cause I was worried about my sister just like you were worried about your girlfriend.
Jayden: True.
The door opened and Cameron came in along with Danielle.
Cameron: She gone live?
Skylar: Yeah. She should be fine.
Cameron went by Anna and Anna stood up. Cameron sat down then Anna sat on her lap.
Cameron: Do yall think they were sent or just saw an opportunity cause she was alone.
It went silent for a bit before Rosa scoffed and shook her head.
Rosa: It could be your dumbass ex.
Jayda began shaking violently as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. I jumped and went beside her.
Me: Go get a doctor!
I grabbed Anna's spoon and pressed on the back end of Jayda's tongue as Jayden held her shaking body down. As soon as the nurses came in the room , I backed off and led a tear-dropping Jayden out of the room.
Skylar: Jayden , you need to go home and get some rest.
Jayden: No , I'm staying with her.
Me: You can't Jayden. She needs a night to herself.
Cameron spoke softly.
Cameron: Jayden , Rosa said one of them is the basement. Let's go get them and find out who sent them and why they did it.
Jayden ran a hand through her hair.
Jayden: Okay. Yeah , sounds good.
I looked at Rosa who was looking down.
Rosa: Where will I go?
Kayla: Well , I'm your cousin , so your gonna be living with me until Jayda wakes up and gets back on her feet.
Rosa: I feel like I'll over stay my-
Kayla: Your family , there's no such thing as overstaying your welcome with me.
Rosa: You sure?
Kayla: Yeah , it's cool fam. Let's go get you some clothes and stuff from the house.
Rosa: Okay.
We all walked off but Kayla pulled me back. I looked at her questioningly.
Kayla: Ari , I want to apologize to you for earlier.
Me: It's okay.
Kayla: But I didn't have to leave you back there like that.
Me: Your cousin is in the hospital , I understand. No harm no foul.
Kayla cupped both of my cheeks in her hands and kissed from my forehead to my lips.
Kayla: I love you so much.
I wrapped my arms around her stomach.
Me: I love you too.
