"Y/N!"
You cringed at the loud voice screaming your name, earning you a lot of unwanted attention from everyone in the corridor.
Holding a half-lidded gaze, you felt someone sling an arm around your shoulder and you immediately knew it was.
"Satori, please leave me alone," you said quietly, but all your brother did was laugh loudly.
"What? Is it a crime to want to escort my little sister to class?" He teased, making a visible irk mark on your forehead.
"I'm only younger than you by two minutes, Satori," you replied through gritted teeth, shaking his arm off of you.
You started to walk off but Tendou grabbed your arm, and you whipped your head around with a scowl across your face.
"What's going on with you, Y/N?" He asked, a look of worry plastered across his face, and you yanked your arm out of his grip before readjusting your bag over your shoulder.
"Nothing," you lied bitterly, and Tendou frowned.
"You're lying," he stated flatly and you clicked your tongue before walking off down the corridor and into your next class, leaving Tendou to stand there and think what the hell was wrong with you.
Even though you would never admit it, you were kind of jealous of Tendou's volleyball team.
Everyday, he would go and practice with them then come home at around six at night, eat dinner then go to bed because he was so tired.
As children, the two of you would always play games in the back garden or just hang out in each other's rooms - building pillow forts and having sleepovers with each other because it was super cool, and other days you would both watch your favourite movies in front of the TV in the living room and your parents would always laugh and video the two of you because it was just so darn cute.
But now all Tendou seemed to be interested in was volleyball, and while you were happy for him, you also missed the fun times the two of you would have together.

After last period, you were supposed to wait for Tendou after volleyball practice, but instead you went home.
You didn't tell Tendou that you were going straight home which led the boy to become very worried about you, always checking his phone and spamming you with texts during his breaks until Semi literally had to drag him away from his phone and back out onto the court.
"Baka, there's a reason why Y/N isn't texting you or waiting for you after practice," he muttered under his breath, but Tendou managed to hear, and wouldn't stop bothering the third-year about it.
Even after practice when the two were walking home together, the red-haired boy still wouldn't stop pestering Semi about why you weren't talking to him anymore until the poor boy finally snapped and told him everything.
Everything about how you were feeling like you didn't matter to Tendou anymore and that he was finally getting to that stage where he didn't need his twin sister anymore which made you feel really weak and stupid.
"So, you see, she thinks you don't care about her anymore," Semi concluded, and by the end of his speech, Tendou's eyes were as wide as saucers and his triangular eyebrows were nearly touching his hairline.
"No, that's not true!" He exclaimed, and Semi slapped him upside the back of his head.
"Then go change that, idiot!" Semi yelled and Tendou nodded before sprinting back to his house and Semi could've sworn he'd never seen Tendou run so fast in his life.

By the time Tendou got home, which wasn't that long after he had heard Semi's speech, the words the latter had said were still running fresh through his mind as he burst into the kitchen, where your mother was preparing dinner.
"Mum, where's Y/N?" He suddenly asked, and your mother looked so confused before saying:
"In her room."
And Tendou nodded before sprinting upstairs, nearly tripping over his own feet more than once on the way as he approached your bedroom.
Inside, you had the old camera from about fifteen years ago and you were watching old videos of when you and Tendou were about three and having random dance parties in the living room.
Just the memory brought more tears to your eyes, but your moment was cut off when the door swung open and Tendou appeared in the doorway, his eyes wild and sweat dripping from his forehead.
"S-Satori?" You squeaked, unable to say anything else as your brother wrapped you up in a tight hug.
"I'm sorry, Y/N," he said, hugging you tighter. "I'm so, so sorry."
You sighed, trying to push him away.
"Get off of me, you're all sweaty and smelly," you giggled, and Tendou let go of you with a shy smile on his face.
"Semi told me what's been going on with you lately and let me just say, I had no idea that you felt this way," he explained, and you looked down at a pattern on your duvet.
"It's not your fault," you said quietly. "I shouldn't have been so dependent on you when I knew that you had other things to attend you. I was kind of selfish-"
"But why didn't you tell me you were feeling like this?" Tendou interrupted, shutting the door lightly and sitting down on the bed next to you. "You know you can tell me anything and I won't judge or be angry."
"I know, it's just..." You started, avoiding Tendou's gaze even after he grabbed your hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "You always look so happy playing volleyball, happier than you are when you're with me at least."
Tendou scoffed, and you couldn't help but look up at him at that, confusion crossing your face.
"Y/N, I may be happy when I'm playing volleyball, but I'll never be as happy when I'm not doing something with you," he said. "Remember when you first tried playing volleyball in elementary school?"
You chuckled at the memory, and Tendou continued.
"The ball came right at you and you didn't know what to do so you headbutted it instead and it still scored a point," he explained, and you nodded, feeling more tears spring into your eyes. "And that time when we won the award for best costume on dress up day when you went as Belle and I went as The Beast."
You let out a loud laugh at that memory, as it was quite funny that all Tendou had to wear was a pair of furry claws and he was considered the perfect reenactment of The Beast.
"I've had so many great memories with you, Y/N, and I don't want to stop making them just because I'm playing volleyball now," he started, and you gazed into his dark red eyes. "We can still do stupid shit if you like and we can run around the house with our swimming costumes on playing with water guns until mum nags at us for being too loud.
"We can be the coolest twins on the block, Y/N, and we don't have to stop being stupid because it's what we do. Wouldn't you like that?"
You nodded, and Tendou hugged you again, this time with you hugging back and burying your face into his neck to inhale the scent of Tendou.
"Why don't we watch (favourite kid's movie) for the memories, yeah?" He suggested, and you nodded again, unable to speak from the tears running down your face.
And so the two of you spent the rest of the day doing stupid childish things like building pillow forts and you slept round Tendou's room that night which brought on a whole new wave of nostalgia for you to cling onto when Tendou was at volleyball practice.
You even went to watch your brother's volleyball matches and every time he scored a point you would cheer at the top of your lungs and he would look up at you at give you a big smile paired with a thumbs up which made the team tease him for how cheesy he was towards you but neither of you cared.
You felt as if you had finally gotten your older brother back and he felt like he had finally gotten his little sister back.

Bruh, 1450 words Jesus Christ I never expected this to be so long but Tendou gives me the feels.
Also, this was my first Tendou fic so I'm sorry if it was shitty.
