Chapter 47-
(Jessica's Pov)
I continue to hold the towel on my jaw.
"Does it hurt badly?" Dan asks.
"Yes, very." I comment.
He gets up and walks over to the door. "OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!!" Dan hollers.
He starts to bang on the door loudly.
After minutes of being annoying the door opens.
"Shut up." Mr.Smith barges into the room.
Dan quickly tackles him to the ground and puts his hand on his mouth. He does something that puts him to sleep.
"Let's go." He whispers to me.
I nod and we move out of the room.
We turn a bunch of corners. "Jessica, you should leave." He said, pointing towards the exit. "Go."
"But I-"
"Go," he says again.
I smile at him and give him a quick hug before jogging as light as I can on my feet.
I am now standing infront of freedom. As I reach my hand over the bar to push open the door, a voice startles me.
"Where do you think you're going." An unfamiliar voice says to me.
I turn around quickly to see who I have been caught by. A boy a bit older than me stands a foot in front of me.
"I'm leaving." I say casually.
"No, you're not." He grabs my wrist.
"Let go." I demand, looking at him in the eyes.
"Not happening, honey." He smirks and tightens his grip around my wrist.
"Please let go." I cry as his grip tightens.
He instantly lets go and looks sad. "Sorry." He mumbles and looks at his feet.
I take this time to open the door once more, but it doesn't budge.
"Do you have a key?" I ask him.
"What... this?" He teases me as he puts the keys in front of my face.
"Yes, that one, do you mind if a borrow it?" I question him.
He hands it to me. Wow, I didn't know it was that easy.
I put the key in the lock and twist. "That's funny it's not working." I think aloud.
I turn back to face him. "Wrong one."
"Oh no, this is the right key. You just twisted it the wrong way." He pushes me aside and pushes the key in the lock and opens the door with no problem. He quickly shuts it as red lights start to blare and a loud beeping sound goes off.
He looks worried as the loud beeps and red lights flash. "Follow me." He grabs my wrist again and drags me down a hallway. We enter a room that looks like an office.
He locks the door and turns the lights off. "Shh." he cooes.
I do as told and shut my mouth.
"Listen, I'm going to take you back to your cell and look for your friends. You just sit tight." He explains his plan.
I nod even though he can't see me.
We wait a couple more minutes until we move out.
"Now just act natural when you get in there." He whispers.
"Okay." I simply respond as we make our way back to the cell.
We reach the door as he fumbles with the keys to open the cell.
He unlocks the door and nudges me in.
"I'll be back." He assures me.
"Wait!" I call before he leaves.
"Yes." He turns around.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Tom."
