"So, how far away did you live?" Alesa asked me while I ate some pancakes.
"A good 30 minutes away." I covered my mouth because I had food in it. "Sorry."
"It's fine." Alesa laughed. "So, what brought you here to Seattle?"
"Did Adam not tell you?" I asked.
Alesa shook her head.
"You both got in late last night. All he told me was that you are his sister and that you needed a place to sleep for the night."
I nodded my head, taking the information in.
"So, what'cha you doing in Seattle? Adam told me that you lived in New York."
I swallowed the last of the pancake. "I moved here with...a friend... then, we both went our separate ways last night. Which basically means I don't have a house anymore."
"Well, you're welcome here anytime-and for however long you need. I'm sure Adam won't mind, you being his sister and all."
I smiled. "Thank you."
Adam walked downstairs, holding Mason with his left arm.
I squealed. "Is this the famous Mason I've heard about?"
Adam grinned. "It is. Do you want to hold him while I eat breakfast?"
"I don't know if I can-"
Adam handed me Mason.
"-Oh, okay." I said.
I put my hands under his armpits while sitting him on my knee.
"You're a natural." Adam said with a mouthful of pancakes.
I laughed. "So, what do you both have planned for today?"
"I'm going to work, and I have no idea what Alesa's doing. What are you doing?" Adam asked.
"I'm going to run a few errands." Alesa responded. "And maybe watch some T.V."
I laughed at that last part. "What should I do?"
"You could come to work with me." Adam said.
I nodded. "Sure. Are you still doing that youtube thing?"
Adam nodded. "That's what work is. Actually, I have quite a few fans now."
"Really? How many?" I asked.
"Almost 12 million subscribers." Alesa answered for Adam.
I nearly spat out my drink.
The drink that I wasn't drinking of course.
"Wow." I said.
"Well, if you want to come with me to work, we'd have to leave in about 5 minutes."
I nodded.
"I'll take Mason while you get ready." Alesa told me.
I handed Mason over to her, then quickly walked upstairs to get ready.
I was wearing my outfit from yesterday.
Which consisted of:
-My favorite grey sweater
-A pair of jeans
-My grey converse
That's it.
I don't have a lot of clothes anyway.
Lost most of them while moving, and I didn't buy many clothes.
I grabbed some clothes from my suitcase and put them on.
I wore a black t-shirt with a over-sized maroon cardigan and jeans. Can't forget my black high tops.
Should I wear makeup?
I don't want to be ugly, but I don't want to be that person to wear makeup.
I don't wear a lot of makeup, if I even wear it.
I'll wear some makeup.
After grabbing my makeup bag
I put my foundation on, along with a layer of mascara.
"Skye! You ready?" I heard Adam yell.
"Almost!"
I grabbed my phone and wallet and put them in my pocket then ran downstairs.
"Ready." I told Adam.
"Bye Alesa!" Adam yelled.
"Adios!" I yelled, trying to copy Adam.
Adam shut the door behind me.
I sat in the car and we drove to Adam's work.
