Shanaya's P.O.V.
I took a long shower and wore a casual dress for a dinner date with Mr. Monster, yeah, right!!
I am so happy ( note the sarcasm )!!
He asked me to join him for a dinner date as he wanted to spend some time alone with me, so he'll be going with Dan, Aaliya and Fred in amusement park in noon and in evening he will pick me up. It's his birthday so I don't want to say NO.
Plus, it's good for me. I'll be able to beat the shit out of him!!
I blow dry my hair and wore my boots, applied a bit eyeliner and a lipgloss and I'm all ready. Please, don't even expect from me that I would do a lot of preparation to look presentable for him. I'm really angry from him and I couldn't care less weather he likes my attire or not.
I waited for kris to arrive whilst Zac and Olivia went outside for dinner when I told them that I would be having dinner with kris, they too planned to have some quality time
together!!
Love sick people!! (Sigh)
Soon, Kristein called me and I quickly got up, I have a quick look at me in the mirror and grabbed my purse and came downstairs. I locked the house, it's good that I've a spare key, which I gave to Zac. I made my way towards his car.
He was standing taking support of his car folding his hands looking at me with a smile. He had worn a blue shirt with ragged jeans and as usual his top three buttons were open, making him really hot and attractive!!
Wow, see again the words I'm using for him!! Damn.. my hormones.
"Hey", he said and came forward to hug me.
"Don't you dare to come near me. You stupid boy", I pointed a finger at him.
"Now what have I done?", He huffed.
"Only because of your big mouth good for nothing, Zac fought with me. He never ever offended me but today he do!! Thanks to you", I told him.
He scratches back of his head and said, "I'm sorry shan but I was unaware that you hadn't told him. Why did you hide things from your brother? If I would lie he would've killed me so I preferred to speak the truth. You should've told him", he spoke.
He is right partly!! Okie, my mistake.
"Fine, it's okay. Yea, I should've told him by myself before.. Sorry", I told him.
I'm not me, see. I'm saying sorry to him, instead of being angry!!
He grinned and then said, "Don't be. Let's go".
He opened the door for me and then after taking a seat himself, kicked the engine and started driving pulling the car on the road. An intact smile was stick to his face. He looked good actually while smiling showing his dimples.
God!! Foucs shanaya!!
"So did you enjoyed your rides with everyone?", I asked about his amusement park experience.
"No, not exactly. My back aches so I couldn't enjoy much, I couldn't enjoy every ride", he spoke eyes fixed to road.
I felt guilty, I was the one who is responsible for his back pain and I didn't even help him while he was the one who cured me while I was injured. I'm turning into a sadist!!
"I'm sorry. Does it hurt much?", I asked looking at him closely.
"It's okay shanaya. Don't be sorry please. Infact, thanks for coming inspite of being angry on me", he said.
Wow, He's really sweet, ain't he? My inner self asked.
Yeah, kind off!!
"Pleasure is all mine", I said.
We both remain silent for sometime and I just looked outside the window. I don't know where is he taking me for dinner but the surroundings are giving me idea that he's driving towards direction of his home.
"So, how's your day?", he asked.
"Good or you can say awesome.You know what, Zac would be staying here for a week. I'm so happy", I said grinning while looking at him.
"Yea, he told me", he said casually.
"And after that-", I was about to say when kris spoke in between , "He'll take you to paris till our marriage".
"Yep, you know I'm so happy and excited to go back home", I said noticing his expressions.
"You missed them?", He asked giving me a quick glance.
"Yes badly. I'm dying to meet them. I'm just wondering when this week will be over and when I'll get rid of this place", I told him.
"Don't you like this place?", He asked.
"No that's not what I mean. I'm glad that you all are here for me but then my family, my mom, dad, everyone is there in paris. You do miss people you love, right?", I asked.
"Yeah, can say!!", He replied.
"I'm just super excited", I told him jumping a bit on my seat and he gave me a small smile.
"Will you miss this place also, when you'll be in Paris?", he said with a blank face.
"Hell no chance. There I've everyone, I've Olivia, Zac, Angel, my parents and just everything I need. I don't think I'll even get time to miss this office work and the presentations. Who miss them?", I laughed.
"Yeah, right. Who missed office?", He said, ''But you'll miss your friends, ain't you?".
"Yes I'll but not as badly as I miss Paris. And I can talk to Aaliya and Dan on face time and if talking about Fred then Angel give me his updates all the time, she's crazy for him", I told him remembering how she used to share her every fight and romantic moments with fred which used to give me headache but now I actually miss her blabbering.
"Yeah, so thoughtful of you. Now you don't have to miss anyone", He said sarcastically.
What's wrong with him? Did I say anything irrelevant??
"You didn't tell me where are we going?", I asked trying to continue the talk.
"Somewhere", he replied coldly.
"Kris, what happened ?", I asked sensing his change of mood.
"Nothing", he gave me one word reply.
Playing dumb we are!! Ain't we??
"Don't you have your office work behind?", He asked again in a cold tone again making me angry.
Calm down shan!! Not today. It's his birthday.
"Yeah and hey, I was wondering if you could keep a check on my company's files and reports till the time I'll be in Paris. Jules will help you", I asked more like a request.
"From when it's your company? I've never submitted the papers to you", he said mocking at me.
How rude!! Calm down.. not today.. I repeated this line.
"Fine, your company. Happy? Why are you being so grumpy?", I asked irritated.
Now he is getting on my nerves!!
"I'm not grumpy and I'm not your P.A. who will follow your orders", he spoke.
"Kris, what's wrong with you? I'm not ordering you. I'm asking you a question, that's it", I replied. I'm totally loosing my temper now.
"Then stop asking stupid questions", he said.
"Oh, so now my questions are stupid, Is this what you think about me? Don't you?", I said crossing my hands.
"Yes, your question are stupid and so you are, silly girl", he mocked sarcastically.
That's it, he can't insult me!!
"Just shut up, if I'm silly then you're a monster. If you don't want to help me then just deny but don't dare to speak like that to me or I'll....", I said angrily but then was at loss of words.
Ugh!! Who said he is sweet, I hate him!!!
"I won't help you, got your answer. You go and enjoy your holidays, why do you care about your company or anything else here in New York?", he said angrily.
Enough now!!
"Just stop the car, right now. I don't want to talk to you and I'm not going anywhere with you", I angrily yelled at him.
"I'm not your driver so talk to me nicely and you're coming with me, weather you like it or not", he replied.
I was angry and hurt at the same time. He is behaving like the same old kris, I was right, people don't change. He is same arrogant, egoistic jerk, a self centered moron, a monster but now his words are affecting me. It's my fault then also, why do I even expect anything good from him?
Stupid me and my stupid expectations!!
He didn't say anything nor do I. After sometime the car came to halt and I found myself in parking area of his house. I came out of the car and started walking towards the main gate, I just don't want to see him or talk to him. I want to leave from here, I want to go home that's it.
I was walking fastly but he grabbed my hand, "Where are you going?", He asked.
"In hell!! Why do you care?", I snapped.
"No, you're coming with me. I don't want people living in hell to suffer because of your presence", he said.
"You.. you monster, you jerk. How dare you insult me? Why are you doing this?", I asked trying to remove my hand.
"Keep quiet and come with me", he hold my hand tightly and dragged me to his home.
I hit him hard on his hands, even punched him on his chest but he didn't leave my hand. Such a rock hard body he have!!
"Let go", I screamed again but he didn't loosened his grip.
He dragged me inside his home and then leave my hand.
"What's your problem silly girl? You're too stubborn", he said folding his hands.
"Go and just die somewhere you monster", I shouted at him and turned around and walked towards the door. I'm not going to stay here with him any other second no matter what!!
But the door didn't open, only then I noticed that the door needs password. Darn you kris!!
"You seems eager to leave", he asked with a smirk, shoving his hands inside his jeans pocket.
"Open the door kris, right now!!", I warned him.
"It's my house, you can't boss over me", he replied.
I turned around and started adding imaginary passwords, I don't know but I wanted to leave.
"Five times", he said.
"What?", I yelled.
"Five times if you add five incorrect passwords then this door will be permanently closed and will open only by my finger prints so all the best for your remaining three tries", he gave me a thumbs up.
In frustration I threw my bag on the couch and moved towards him in anger.
"I don't want to stay with you, don't you get that", I said.
"Follow me", he said and leave me in the hall. I stomped my feet on the ground and followed him to another room which I came to know is actually his bedroom.
I've to admit he has really a big and beautiful house but it's all designed like a men's house. How am I going to live in a house like this?
Ehm.. seems you're eager to shift here? My inner self asked.
I never wanted to if I was allowed to take decision, trust me!!
Poor you!! It replied.
He opened the closet which was filled with so many causals and so many suits, and on the bottom was so many pairs of different footwears. He had almost every type of dress and every possible colour, it's freaking walking showroom. My jaw dropped seeing his wardrobe.
Gosh, kristein's wardrobe can put a girl like me on shame!!
He take out three shopping bags from the closet and closed it. He gave them to me. I glanced, they were ladies dress.
"I bought these for you, change into any one of them", he replied looking at me.
"Why?", I asked.
"We're going for a dinner date as I've told you and you can't go like this", he told me seeing me from top to bottom in a disapproving manner..
"Bullshit, I'm going no where with you. Plus, I don't need your approval and not any of your gift", I threw the bags and moved towards door but he grabbed my arm and turned me.
In a split second I was crushed between him and closed door behind. He hold my both arms tightly on my both sides.
"What's wrong with you kris? Why are you behaving like a jerk?", I asked.
"And why are you being so stubborn?", He asked.
"You're insulting me kristein, I was being civil but I guess you can't digest respect", I yelled.
"Really, tell me one thing!! Are you really excited to go to paris?", He asked coming closer.
"Yes and I'm very happy now that I'm going. I don't have to see your face everyday", I was super angry.
"Will you miss me?", He asked softly.
"Never ever", I shouted.
"Tell me truthfully shanaya", He came closer and now I could feel his breath over my forehead.
Yes, I'm short. So, I could reach his shoulder only, and I don't have put any heels on!!
"Why do you bother?", I asked trying to show anger but my breath was becoming heavy due to his closeness.
Darn you!! My anger was now all out of the box and I felt sick in stomach due to this much close proximity of him.
"I bother cause I care for you", he said softly and his grip over my hand lossen a bit.
"You don't need to care for me. I've a lot of people to take care of me and to worry for me", I said removing my eyes away from him.
"Yes right, why not? There are so many people for you who loves you and whom you love right? And you won't give a damn about me also, I know that", He said angrily again tightening his grip. I didn't look at him, I don't want to see his angry face, I feel hypnotized by his blue orbs.
''But you know what I can't stop caring for you. I can't help it, but I worry for you,you play an important role in my life shan", his voice was so smooth and filled with so much concern that I've to look at him and his eyes were glistening.. my heart started beating against my chest rapidly.
He inhaled closing his eyes and then came near me and whispered"I just want you to know that when you will be enjoying there with your family and friends then one person here back in New York will be lonely without you. When you'll be lost in your own world of happiness then there will be one person here who will be dying to see your smiling face".
He left my hand and cupped my face and slowly caressed my cheek with his thumb. I don't dare to remove my eyes from his blue eyes, it was all looking like a dream and I was afraid if I'll blink this all will disappear.
He further said, "This one person will miss you each and every second, he will wait impatiently for this month to pass away. This one person will carve to hear your voice, he'll miss the feel your beautiful lips. This one person will sleep holding your photograph daily, in the wait of the day when he'll be able to cuddle you properly. He knows that you don't feel anything for him but he can't help because he is crazy for you", his lips were forming a smile.
I silently without even blinking just keep looking at him. My mind was blank, it was not giving any idea. It was so busy absorbing his words and my heart was just fluttering with an unknown feeling.
"Kris-- I..", I tried to speak but then shut my mouth, due to loss of words.
He gave me a small smile and then bring his face close to me, really close, his nose almost touching mine. I closed my eyes.
He whispered in my ears,"And you know the saddest part.. It's that with each passing day and moment I feel like I need you more, more than before in spite of knowing the fact that you don't need me at all". He moved away removing his hands from my face and I started missing his embrace. I wanted him to hold me like few seconds before.
I opened my eyes and saw him looking at me with so much adoration and intensity that I feel weak in my knees, my heart was not able to control it's pace.He bent down on his knees after that holding my hands and looking at me said, "But what can I do? My heart had choosed you and it is out of my control now. I can't stop it from falling for you. I am in love wih you shanaya, I love you very very much", his face was glowing when he said those three words, I love you!!
