I stared up at the night sky as everyone was asleep for the night. A small fire was in the middle of the small clearing as there was a small mound of firewood next to the burning fire ready for me to insert them in the flames.
I could hear their soft snores. Lucas was hugging his gun. Leonora had her jacket covering her face laying next to Clarke.
I stared at Clarke for a second as I finally had a chance go fully see her after all this time. Her face was clear of any cuts or bruises. Something that had plagued her when we first arrived in earth.
Even in her sleep she wrinkled her nose in worry before it relaxed leaving her restful and young.
Lincoln and Octavia were cuddled up on the edge of the camp as Lincoln had his arm thrown over Octavia as I saw a flicker of a smile on her face before it disappeared.
Monty was laying at the base of a tree with his jacket over him as Miller and Murphy both slept next to him.
I turned over to Bellamy as I saw him the only one still awake. He stared into the fire breaking pieces of a small twig and throwing it into the fire as he watched it burn.
He was the only one who still had a bruises' and cuts on his face. Most likely because of the hand to hand combat training that he does with Lincoln.
I looked awake quickly not wanting him to feel me staring.
"Like what you see?" He asked softly that I took a second to reply thinking that it was my mind that had made me think he had said something.
I looked at him as I saw him looking up at me with a small smile.
"Why aren't you sleeping?" I asked him as he threw the last of the twig into the fire before standing up and walking around the fire before he sat down next to me.
We both were resting against the tree trunk. Our shoulders touched as he spread his legs out before him as they were clearly longer than mine.
"Who can sleep knowing everything that's out there?" He asked me as he stared into the fire.
"If we don't sleep we'll turn crazy." I said softly
"Who to say we already aren't?" He asked as he turned to look at me for a few seconds with a raised eyebrow
"You're right." I said as we still stated at each other. I looked away and stared at the fire
"You know they say that one clear nights like this you can see shooting stars." Bellamy said as I turned to him as he looked up at the sky as I followed his lead.
"Shooting stars are nothing more than small rocks or dust that hit earth's atmosphere from space. They move so fast that they heat up and glows as it moves through the atmosphere. Shooting stars are what astronomers call meteors. Most meteors burn up in the atmosphere before they reach the ground." I said as Bellamy stared at me with a small smile and raised eyebrow.
"Its true." I defended
"I know " he said
"You know we're invaders of earth. We come from a huge metal can that floats in space before crashing down to earth. Which makes us aliens. " he said as it was now my turn to raise an alien.
"Well I guess all those alien movies were right. Aliens are to be feared to some extent." I said as Bellamy looked up at the star filled sky.
"This reminds me back to when all we had to worry about was keeping 100 teenagers fed and keep some grounders off our ass." Bellamy said as I shrugged
"Well we don't really worry now do we?" I asked him
"No grounders are currently trying to kill us, there is no mountain men, we have food, more guards." I said as he nodded
"There's Polaris." He said pointing out the star in the sky. I looked up to the sky but was lost because of the thousands of stars that filled the sky.
"There's Castor." I said pointing out one of the few stars that I knew about.
Lexa tried teaching me about that stars saying that her people believed that stars could tell the future. It could tell them if the crops would be good or bad. Lexa would point the stars out over and over again.
I turned back to Bellamy as we fell into a comfortable silence. I felt him turn his head towards me and stare.
"You died your hair again." He commented as I looked up at him before grabbing my braid so I could look at mg hair color and looked at the light colored hair.
"Yeah. Last night." I said
"Why?" He asked as I sighed
"Because people see red hair and they avoid me." I answered
"So you dyed your hair so you wouldn't be avoided?" He asked as I nodded
"That's stupid." He said as I raised an eyebrow
"When I first met you, you did whatever you wanted. You left camp whenever you wanted. You led people. You set an example.
And..and now you dye your hair because you're afraid of what people would think." He said as I moved a bit so I could see him better
"I'm not afraid of what people think." I said getting a bid mad.
"It was either lead or be led. I still do what I want. I died my hair because I didn't want people staring at me. I mean what do you want from me? Do you want me to hold a meeting an announce who I am and what I have done?" I asked
"No that's not what I mean." He said
"So what do you mean then?" I asked
"I mean I don't want you to lose sight of your true self." He said
"I was watching you today. And it seems like something is bothering you." He said as I calmed down as my mind wandered back to that note that I received.
"Nothing bothering me." I said as I leaned back on the tree as he stared at me
"You can tell me you know? I'm here for you. I can help." He said
"I'm afraid that what's bothering me is something that not even you can help in." I said with a bitter smile looking in the fire.
"I can try." He said in a soft voice as I shook my head.
"Oh no. This is the reason why Leo got arrested." I said
"She was arrested because she killed a man." He said as I nodded
"Well its come back to bite us in the ass." I said
"What do you mean?" He asked as I looked up at him
"Well there's a reason why Leo killed Scott. A motive in every murder." I said as he nodded
"I don't get it. How did Leo kill him. Where did she kill him? Why did she?" He asked
"The where and why are my fault. But the thing is someone knows the reason why Leo kill Scott. And that someone is blackmailing me or else that person us going to tell the whole camp why Leo kill Scott." I said
"And what were you planning on doing?" He asked me as I smiled
"I'm going to silence him. The way I know best. What I'm best at. I'm going to kill him." I said
"I'll help." He said as I laughed softly and shook my head.
"No I don't even want Leo to deal with it. But thanks for the offer." I said
"So why did Leo kill Scott?" He asked
"Not important. She killed and that was it." I said with a shrug as he nodded not pressing the subject further knowing that he won't be getting anything out of me.
"You missed so much." Bellamy said sadly as I twiddled my thumbs
"Two years." He said shaking his head as I nodded
"Two years." I repeated I looked over to him as he wore a pained expression
"Look its over. I'm not leaving anytime soon." I said with a smile
"So wipe that expression off your face." I said as he gave a small smile
"We're alive aren't we?" I asked as he nodded
"Then? Our lives may not be perfect but we have each other." I said as he looked at me
"Each other." He repeated as he nodded as we stared at each other before he reached for my hand and squeezed it. I smiled as I intertwined my fingers with his as he held my hand tightly as if I might disappear before his eyes.
" You know,.."I started to say
" I never stop to think... that the light is billions of years old by the time we see it.
From the beginning of time right past us into the future. Nothing is ancient in the universe. But, maybe they are souls, Blake. Traveling through time as starlight, looking for homes." I said as he stared up at the stars as I started into the abyss before I felt him gaze down to me
He didn't say anything. He looked at me with a smile before turning back towards the stars.

"And you have reason to believe that we're the aliens that the people of the past feared?" I asked as the sun started to rise as the air was chilly.
"We are the UFO's, Kane." Bellamy said as he poked the fire with a stick sending sparks into the air.
"We come to this already inhabited world and the people fear us." He said as I rolled my eyes.
"But we're all humans." I argued
"Ah are we really Kane?" He asked
"Yes! Yes really Bake. I can assure you Blake, as a medical doctor, that you and I are humans." I said
"Okay but imagine this." He said as he looked at me
"You wake up one day and look up at the sky and see a streak of light."
"Then you see it land. What's your first thought?" He asked
"Does anybody need medical attention." I answered
"Your second thought then." He said
"Make yourself known as the leader." I said as he smiled
"Third?" He asked
"Are there cute people." I said as he hung his head
"Fourth?"
"Lead cute people away from the group." I said
"Well thank the heavens that you had me back when we landed. And that you didn't do half of those things." He said
"But that's exactly what I did." I said as he whipped his head up at me as he smiled faded
"I mean everything turned out okay, didn't it?" I asked as he raised an eyebrow as everyone started to stir.
"Who..who did you lead away?" He asked
"I don't kiss and tell." I said
"Clarke " I said after a couple of seconds
"The last time we saw each other there was a glass between us." I said shrugging as he nodded
"That's it?" He asked as I nodded
"Yeah. I was too busy taking care of 100 kids to do anything else." I said as he nodded
"Thank god." He said under his breath. As Leo rolled over and threw her jacket away from her face but was still asleep.

"Can't wait to take a shower."Leo said around 3 in the afternoon after we finished gathering all of the plants.
We were heading back go camp as Lucas and Bellamy lead the group through the woods as Leo and I followed behind them.
"Hey I don't think you did the hair dye right this time." Leo said as she looked at my hair
"Why?" I asked
"I see some black hair." She said as I shrugged
"I'll just take a shower." I said as I saw the clearing up ahead.
"And a long nap." I added as we broke into the clearing.
"Give me the bag. I'll take it over to medical bay." Leo said as I handed her the shouldered bag that I had as the gates of the camp were opened.
As we walked into camp I saw Leo look at something before she tried to grab my attention
"Hey does this bruise look weird to you?" She asked as she showed me her forearm bearing a bruise.
"Looks normal." I said as I touched the purple tinted skin as I looked at what she was looking at.
I looked just in time to see Gina jump into Bellamy's arms and give him a kiss. I turned around and patted Leo's forearm before walking away.
I could feel Leo's eyes trailing after me as I went towards the house.
"I'm so stupid." I whispered under my breath as my swords slightly tapped the upper outer part of my thigh.
I fished my keys out of my pocket as I looked up to the door and saw a white letter with my name written on it.

I snatched it off the door and opened it.
Bring me a gun tonight at 3am. Leave it behind the engineering building .

My anger rose as I unlocked the door and slammed it behind me.
