By the time this letter arrives at your place, my family and I've already arrived at our cabin in Coldorado by train. We'll be back by New Year's, I suppose, but as of now I think I'll be taking daily walks down into town to the post office to mail you a letter. The things I do for you, eh?
Yesterday Sonya took me fishing by the lake. Wasted an entire day sitting around on our asses, at that. Sometimes she talked to me about Harriet, the girl she met at her judo classes.
Harriet gave me a knitting kit for Christmas. Sonya probably prodded her about it, but my sister got me second-hand skateboard (probably third-hand, even), so I say we're even.
Minho got me this really thick notebook with a cartoon lizard drawn on the front. A Newt, he said. Bloody dork.
Speaking of gifts, I hope you like the sweater I gave you. Thanks for the phone. That was probably a bit too much on your part, but I'm really grateful :)
