48. Logan
" All the pack members who had been send away by Luca, are back " Oliver gave me a folder. I looked quickly at the papers. " Do you have anything else to tell me? " I opened a drawer of my desk and put the folder in it, when I was done looking at the pages. " Not on this moment. Everything else is calm "
Someone knocked on the door of my office. My eyes left Oliver and went to Jack, who walked inside the room. A grin on his face. " I didn't know that your father was still here " He said. I rolled my eyes. Of course, he knew that I wasn't happy with my dad being here. He would watch me the whole time, but at the same moment, I needed him to train Axelle.
" I didn't think I needed to tell you " I said and leaned backwards in my chair. Jack stood a few meters before my desk. His hands in the pockets of his jeans. The grin was still on his face. " And you didn't think you needed to tell me that he would train your Axelle "
Slowly, I stood up. " If I was you, I would go to her, because the manly population of our pack is looking at her " I felt anger going through me. Didn't they have better things to do?! I was the only one who could look at her! " Why couldn't you tell me this earlier? " I growled at him.
I heard him say: " I was also looking at how she was training. I thought you would like me encourage her " when I walked out of the house. I saw her from a distance. A group of men. They were yelling her name.
Axelle herself was standing a few metres further. She was fighting with someone. I didn't recognise him. My father was standing with his arms crossed. " Everyone, go away! Now! " I growled. Surprise was the only emotion visible on their faces. They walked away very quickly. Even the man who was fighting with Axelle.
" Logan " She smiled at me, like she didn't know why I was angry. " The next time you need some people to encourage you, you just call me. If I see this one more time, I will lock you in our home " She looked at me with her head tilted and her smile disappeared. " I thought, you were to busy " She said, while I wrapped my arms around her and pushed her sweaty body against mine. " And you don't need to threaten like that. Your father only wanted to help me "
My head turned towards my father. " Thanks for your help " I mumbled. " You don't need to train her anymore. I will find someone else " I kissed her forehead. Everyone was better than my father. He only wanted to make my angry. He knew that we hadn't complete our mating process. He knew I wouldn't be happy that Axelle got so many manly attention.
I wrapped my arm around Axelle and started walking back home. " I think you did enough today. We don't want you to have pain tomorrow " I said to her. I felt my father's eyes on my back, but didn't say anything. Did he really think I wouldn't complain about his?! Now, he hadn't a reason to stay here.
