(A/N So first things first don't kill me but I kinda forgot about the relationship between Rydel and Mal. If you guys liked it make sure you comment below and I'll change a few things. If not I'll keep going with how things are now.)
So we landed in Connecticut and met up with the team at the hotel. We all go into the conference room to have a meeting with Jill before we go to our rooms.
"So its nice to have you all back here and as you can see we have some new faces. Now we'll have a light training session just to get you warmed up tonight. Tomorrow we'll do a weight lifting session with some light cardio then the day after that is the game. The day after the game is recovery for the players who need it then well have a relaxed day. More training the next day then the last game. Any questions?" Jill ask.
Everyone says no and Jill posts the room assignments. I look and see my name and then I see her name.
"Hey roommate." Mal says.
I turn around and look at her.
"Your just full of surprises aren't you?" I ask.
"Yeah pretty much." She says.
I roll my eyes and we make our way to our room. When I get in the elevator someone jumps into my arms. I was confused until I took in her scent, it was Kelley. I hops down and I give her a proper hug.
"I missed you." She says.
"I missed you too." I say.
I pull Kelley in for and kiss and then I remember Mal is here.
"Kelley this is my friend Mal." I say.
"Its nice to meet you." Kelley says.
"Its nice to meet you too." Mal says.
"Who are you rooming with?" I ask.
"JJ, she's kinda upset because she wants to be with Press but oh well." Kelley says.
We get off on our floor and head to our rooms. I take the bed by the window and Mal takes the bed by the door. We unpack out things before getting on our training kits and heading down to meet everyone else. We get on the bus and head to the field. When we get there we warm up with some drills and then scrimmage 9v9, Hope and Ash were the captains.
Hope's Team:
Forwards: Me, Mal, Press
Mids: Carli, Tobin, Moe
Defenders: JJ, Kling, Kelley
Ash's Team:
Forwards: Alex, Crystal, Horan
Mids: Pinoe, HAO, Mewis
Defenders: Becky, Krieger, Engen
We started off with the ball because Ash picked her players first. I've never played with some of the girls before so this should be interesting. Alex passed it to Crystal who then passed it back to HAO. Mal, Press, and I ran up the field and hung out at the half letting them keep possession. HAO tired to pass it up to Alex but Kling was there and took the ball up the field. She crossed it to Mal who wasn't the far outside of the box. Mal took one touch and settled the ball, Becky ran to defend her. Press and I made a run, I had Krieger on me while Press had Engen. Mal somehow got around Becky and sent it into the box to where I was. I hopped into the air and sent it toward goal but Ash blocked it. She didn't do a good job at clearing it because when it came back down Press hammered it into the back of the goal. Mal and I ran over to Press and hugged her before walking back to our half. We continued this for about an hour and the game ended 4-2.
"You and Mal really have a connection, I like the build up. Ladies when we get back to the hotel get some dinner and get some sleep, We have a game tomorrow." Jill says.
We get back on the bus, I sit next to Kelley and Mal sits next to Horan. The team already knows about Kelley and I so she puts her head on my shoulder and I kiss her forehead.
"We gotta do something, just you and me before we go back home." I say.
"Okay." Kelley says.
We get back to the hotel and Mal and I head up to our rooms. I hop in the shower when we get there and change into some sweats and a muscle tee. I wait for Mal to get out the shower and we both head downstairs together. I go and get my plate then go and sit next to Kelley and Ash. We all eat and talk then head to bed.

"I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN!" The crowd roars behind us.
The ref blows the whistle and the game starts. I was sitting on the bench with Mal watching the game. We didn't know if we weren't going to be starting but it was cool enough knowing Jill was going to put us in the game. Alex and Morgan were both injured and couldn't play this game. So Jill wants to see if we have to same chemistry on the field like we do in practice. We're playing a 4-3-3 the starting lineup is:
Hope in goal.
Kling, JJ, Becky, and Kelley are defenders
Horan, Allie, and Carli are midfielders
Tobin, Crystal, and Press are forwards
We started off with the ball and passed it back to the midfield. We were in out new white kits while Columbia was in yellow. We came at them hard and they did the same. There was a little back and forth until the 4th minuet Tobin got the ball and headed towards the goal down the left flank with 3 defenders on her. It looked like she was going to lose it but she fought through and megs one of the defenders sending a pass to Crystal who took a shot but it was saved by Velasquez (number 9) before Perez (the keeper) dove on it. In the 9th minuet there was a collision between Horan and Ospina (number 4). Horan got up and was okay but they called the trainers on the field to look at Ospina. They checked her out then walked her off the field. She walked off with the help of the trainers but it didn't look to serious. In the 11th minuet Tobin got the ball from Julie who crossed it to her from the center circle. She went toward the box but was surrounded, she was able to pass it to Kling who took a touch and passed it to Dunn who was going to take the shot but saw Allie was at a better angle and left it for her. Allie ripped it and it looked like it was going to be a goal but hit the crossbar and went out for a goal kick. Crossbars are goalkeepers best friends and forwards worst nightmares. Columbia got a corner kick in the 13th minuet, their first one of the match but it was cleared away. In the 17th minuet Velasquez got a yellow card for taking down Tobin from behind. We get a free kick which Allie takes, Dunn gets a foot to it and passes it to Carli who takes a shot but its deflected earning us a corner kick. Tobin drives it through the middle but its cleared away, not very well because Tobin gets the ball back but trips one of the players on her way to the goal earning Columbia a free kick. Columbia progresses up the field and takes a shot but Solo is there to get it. In the 21st minuet Columbia gets a free kick off a foul by Allie, they take it but it just goes out for a goal kick. In the 25th minuet Allie sends a through ball to Crystal, and she passes it to Press who takes it up the field. Just outside the box Press sends it to Tobin on the right side of the field, she takes a shot but defenders quickly surround her and its blocked. Kelley runs up and recovers the ball and passes it back to Tobin who takes another shot but its also blocked. Carli recovers the ball and passes it to Crystal who has a defender on her, she spins out and gets away from her defender and is now one v one with the keeper. Perez comes out and Dunn slots the ball into the back of the net, her 12th career goal in 18 matches. The game rest, in the 27th minuet Columbia was progressing with the field but the ball is taken away by Carli and Horan. Horan passes the ball to Mal who passes it to Kling. Kling looks up and sees Crystal by the halfway line and crosses it to her. Crystal settles the ball and kicks it to Carli who runs with the ball down the left flank, Carli spots Tobin open and passes it to her. Tobin crosses the ball into the box, Kelley was making a run but Perez gets to it. She bobbles it but a defender is there to help clear it out. The defender cleared it outside of the box to where Horan was and she passed it to Kling who got around her defender and tried to send it in to Carli but a defender got to it and cleared it. IN the 30th minuet Kelley is fouled by Echeverri (number 5) resulting in a free kick, which Tobin takes. Tobin takes it short sending it to Kling on the left flank. Kling passes it to Dunn who turns and passes it to Horan. She looks up and sends a cross into the box, Allie jumps up and gets a head on it and send it into the goal making it 2-0. Mal and I laughed at the celebration, Allie jumped on Horan and she jumped a bit to high causing Horan and her to fall to the ground. I hope her neck is okay (A/N look on Instagram). In the 32nd minuet Becky send in a ball from the left flank which reaches Carli who passes it to Crystal but defenders are around her. Tobin and Carli help her out, Carli gets the ball and passes it to Press who shoots it past the keeper and into the net 3-0. In the 37th minuet a foul is called on Kelley giving Columbia a free kick. The kick is taken and Columbia settles the ball, a shot it taken but is driven high over the goal giving us a goal kick. Solo takes the kick short and sends it to JJ who passes it up the middle to Allie who passes it to Crystal. Crystal has a defender on her and passes it to Carli who passes it to Press. A defender is on her and she looses the ball but Crystal is there to recover and passes it back to Press. Press is already in the box and runs towards the goal, she looks up and sees Carli and passes it to her. Carli is right in front of the goal and hammers it. The game reaches the 45 minuet markers and there's 1 minuet of stoppage time added. Columbia gets a free kick and its when its taken the player has nowhere to go and ends up sending the ball out of play ending the first half of the game 4-0.
During halftime we go into the locker room and players get hydrated. Jill tells us the game plan and we go back out on to the field. Jill has Mal, HAO, Emily, Ali, Engen and I start warming up. She's putting Mal in for Press and Me in for Horan. I'm not normally a midfielder but I can play all positions. Jill gave me the go ahead to get up when I can so I'm not worried.
Columbia starts off the ball the second half, the ref blows the whistle and we're on our way. In the 49th minuet Columbia kept possession of their goal kick and make their way up the field. But the ball is given away from a bad pass and Dunn makes her way up the field. I make a run and Dunn sends it into Mal, who settles the ball using her chest. She outs wide and sends the ball in, Perez gets a hand to it but she's not fully cleared out. Carli gets the ball and is inside the box when she lost her footing. There are a lot of players in the box we're trying to score while Columbia is trying to clear it and the Tobin is taken down, Columbia gets the ball and clears it. In the 53rd minuet Crystal got the ball but sent it wide. In the 56th minuet Columbia breaks through and takes a shot but it right at Solo. In the 60th minuet Columbia gets the ball from a bad serve and makes their way up the field. The player goes up the left flank and crosses it to the right. Julie heads it away but its not a good clear because one of their players gets it right back. She runs and tries to cross it so a teammate can get to it but Hope dives on the ball. In the 61st minuet the ball is sent it and Dunn runs it down, she crosses it to Tobin who is wide open and scores a goal. In the 64th minuet we get a corner kick which Tobin takes. I'm in the box waiting for Tobin to take the kick. When the kick is taken its played out to the top of the box where Mal is wide open. I thought she was going to bury it but she didn't get a good touch on it. A columbian player tries to clear it but it goes up in the air and Julie gets a head on it so I run towards the goal. I get a head on it and its a goal, I run over and give JJ a hug and the rest of the team follows suit. In the 66th minuet Jill put in Whitney for Julie and Sonnett for Becky. In the 67th minuet Columbia makes a change Liana Salazar (number 6) out and Carolina Pineda (number 8) out. In the 68th minuet HAO came in for Kelley and Ali came in for Kling. In the 71st minuet Tobin megs one of the players and the crowd goes wild. In the 73rd minuet we had a great build up there was a miss clear by a defender and Mal ran on to the ball it was deflected into the goal but the ref ruled it an offsides, so it didn't count. A goal kick was awarded and Columbia tired to progress up the field but then fouled our player. We did a quick restart and got the ball down the field Crystal made a pass to Mal who was running down the left flank. She got closer to the goal and was at the top of the box and curved the ball past the keeper. We all ran over and hugged her. We had a lot of good chances to score and so did Columbia but the game ended 7-0.
I ran over to Kelley and jumped into her arms.
"Babe, you score your first goal in your first cap!" Kelley yells.
"I know, I can't believe it." I say.
We both walk over to to Columbians and shake their hands. I see Carli talking to Rincon and walk over to her Carli smiles and pulls me into a hug.
"Me inspiras y niñas de todo gracias, seguir trabajando duro. (You inspire me and girls all over thank you, keep working hard)" I say.
"No gracias, fue un honor jugar contigo. (No thank you, it was an honor to play you.)" Rincon says.
"Igual que aquí. (Same here.)" I say.
I shake her hand then go over to Mom.
"You did amazing." Mom says.
"Thank you, your saves weren't to bad either." I say.
She laughs and we both go into the locker room. The team comes in and we all get our things and get on the bus. Jill comes on and we all stop what we're doing.
"Ladies this was a good win. Can you just give it up for the two people who got their first goals in their first cap?!" Jill ask.
The team starts cheering and Mal and I smile. Jill puts her hands up and we all get quite.
"Our next game is on Sunday so tonight you guys make sure you take it easy. Thursday is recovery and a relaxed day. Friday is going to be an intense training day, cardio and weight lifting sessions. Saturday there is going to be a light training session and a team bonding day. Then there's the game." Jill says.
She sits in her seat next and we all go back to doing what we were doing. When we get to the hotel Kelley and I go hang out in her room, JJ is probably somewhere sucking face with Press. We both lay in Kelley's bed and watch American Odyssey on Netflix. Kelley is laying on her side and I'm laying behind her. I was watching the show but then I started starring at Kelley. I smirked and started kissing the back of her neck.
"I thought we were suppose to be watching a show?" Kelley ask.
She turns over and lays on her back.
"I wouldn't mind a change of plans." I say.
Kelley smirks before putting her hands on the back of my neck and pulling me in for a kiss. We stay like this for a while until Kelley runs her hands up and down my stomach, scratching as I moaned in pleasure. I took off my shirt and looked at Kelley who is starring in awe. She pulls me on top of her and I pull Kelley's shirt off. I start kissing down her chest, nipping and sucking hearing Kelley's breathing change as I please her more. I continue down and when I get to her waistband I look up at Kelley.
"Why'd you stop?" She pants.
"Because, I need to hear one word." I say.
"Please..."
