4Minute is a girl group composed of five members. The name 4Minute stands for For A Minute. They released their seventh mini album Act 7 on February 1. The lead single "Hate" was produced by Skrillex. On June 13, 2016 Cube Entertainment announced that the group would disband after their contract expired. Only HyunA will renew her contract and will continue as a solo artist and member of the duo group Troublemaker as well as the trio group Triple H.
Their sub group 2Yoon has been recognized by foreign and domestic music magazines for being the first K-Pop act to release a country-inspired track. They were also the first Korean music group sub-unit to promote in Thailand.
