My eyes fluttered open.
The white sheets were pulled up to my chest.
I looked over to the gorgeous god that was lying next to me in my bed.
I studied his incredibly sharp jawline. His eyes were closed and I could hear his easy breathing.
His chest heaved up and down as he inhaled and exhaled. He looked so relaxed when he slept.
So peaceful.
I reached over and kissed his just below his jawline.
"That feels good," He mumbled.
He opened his eyes and looked over. Those big brown eyes staring back at me.
"Good morning, darling," He said and smiled.
"Morning, Calum," I replied.
"How did you sleep?" he asked.
I smiled, "Peacefully. What about you?"
"Like a baby," He responded.
I nodded.
"So about last night," He started.
I snorted remembering about what happened yesterday at midnight.
"What about it?" I asked.
"Best night of my life," He replied.
"So cheesy," I joked.
I sat up and held the bed sheets close to my chest. "Well, if you don't mins, I really need to shower."
Calum rolled off the bed, he grabbed his boxers from the floor and pulled them on.
"Yea me too," He agreed and slipped his sweats on.
I wrapped the sheet around my body and got off my bed.
"Can you open the window please? I don't want it smell like sex in here if anyone comes in," I said.
Calum laughed slightly and went to open the window.
He dislatched the lock and pushed the windows open.
Immediately the warm breeze started flowing in.
Calum stretched in front of the window. He had no shirt on. "Agh, that feels a lot better," he said.
He turned around and that's when I saw his back.
His skin was clawed up and red. It had a series of fingernail scratches. From the top to the bottom.
"Calum your back," I said and rushed forward.
"I never left," He said and gave me a confused look.
"No, I meant your back is all scratched up," I said and turned him around. I let my fingers lightly graze the wounds. "Sorry, didn't know it's be this bad."
"It's fine," he said.
"You sure? I mean my nails aren't even that sharp, or long," I said and showed his my perfectly trimmed nails.
He took my hands in his and kissed them.
"Honestly, Helen it's fine don't worry about it," he insisted/
I furrowed my eyebrows and bit my lip. I still feel incredibly guilty.
But I hope, when the hot water is running down his back, that the wounds sting, so he'll remember last night and the feeling of my nails cutting down on his skin.
Leaving scars of our English love affair.
"You're thinking of something sexual, huh?" Calum said.
"What?" I asked and looked up at him.
"You look like that smirky face emoji," He said laughing.
"Shut up Calum," I said but started laughing too.
I began walking towards the bathroom when I felt a tug on my bed sheet, I was currently wearing.
I turned and Calum was grabbing a hold of the sheet. He started pulling on it.
"Calum no," I said and began pulling back.
He yanked it and I nearly fell forward, but caught myself.
He had a huge smile on his face.
I pulled with all my strength but Calum was stronger. The sheet somehow got under my feet and when Calum pulled on it , I fell back.
I flipped so my head was down.
"Are you okay Helen?! I didn't mean to make you fall, I'm sorry. Don't cry, I said I was sorry."
I was laughing silently so it looked like I was crying. I laughed a little louder and turned to look at him.
"I'm not crying," I giggled.
He helped me up and pulled me in his arms. He kissed me lightly.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too, but get out so I can take a shower now."
When I reached the bathroom, I took the sheet off my and tossed it to Calum.
"Put that in the hamper please," I said.
He ran his eyes over me.
"Still beautiful," He said.
I rolled my eyes and smiled before closing the bathroom door behind me.
I went to the shower and turned on the hot water.
I looked at myself in the mirror.
They say when a girls just lost her virginity, she looks different. I myself feel different but don't look different.
"I've got to stop watching so many teenage drama movies," I whispered to myself.
I slipped into the shower and was engulfed in the warm water. I scrubbed myself with the lavender scented body wash.
Shampooed my hair with Dove Advanced Hair Care (the yellow one). It smelled like baby powder.
After letting the shampoo sit in my hair for a while, I rinsed it off and put the conditioner in.
Shaved my legs and under arms, once again, then watered off the conditioner.
I turned off the water and grabbed a towel. I squeezed my hair to get rid of any water, then rolled my hair into a white towel.
After drying myself off, I wrapped the towel around my body and stepped out into my bedroom.
The room was a little cool compared to the bathroom.
I went to my bag and looked for a fresh pair of undergarments.
I found a red bra and blue panties.
Doesn't need to be matching, amirite ladies?
After putting on my black ripped tight jeans and an All Time Low shirt, I rubbed my hair in between the towel before brushing it. I also brushed my teeth.
I picked up all my scattered clothes from last night and put them in my hamper.
I grabbed my phone before going downstairs.
Calum's POV
After I left Helen's room, I went back into the room I was staying in.
The bed was still made. Haven't slept in here since I came. I don't mind.
I immediately went into the bathroom.
I looked at my back in the bathroom mirror. It had multiple red cuts. I could see that my shoulder blades were scratched up. But then again my whole back was scratched up.
I stood under the shower head.
The water soaked my hair and ran down my body.
I winced in pain when it reached my back. The memory of Helen's nailed going down my back will be forever burned in my head.
She is something I can never forget and never will forget.
She left her mark on me, both literal and emotionally.
I could practically feel her nails digging in my skin and her screaming out in bliss.
I exhaled and smiled to myself. No one will ever take the memory of what happened last night between Helen and I.
